Was I just unlucky ?

Hi chaps, I been a visitor to PU for a long time but have never posted. Now I feel must do so.

I joined this site on Friday 6th June 2008 via ccbill. My credit card was approved by ccbill (as it always is, I've joined over 100 sites since 2005 with no problems at all).

The record at ccbill shows I have access to 1by-day for 30 days, which is what I paid for. password, username, subscription ID, amount spent, rebill date etc etc all listed correctly.

My online credit card statement shows that the correct amount of money has been approved (and taken I might add).

My username and password have never worked. Not ONCE, NADA, NOTHING. ZIP.

I've contacted 1by-day via the help section of the website. NO RESPONSE.

I've contacted ccbill, they replied within 10 mins, telling me to contact support@ddfprod.com , which I have. NO RESPONSE.

Now, when I try to log into 1by-day I get a message saying "500 brute force detected"

So, I paid for 30days....27 remaining....and counting down and I've not even downloaded a single lonely jpg image. The site tour looks very nice, guess I'll have to settle for that.

Just wondering about the price of 1byday, I was checking it out to see what all new had been added, and noticed on the join page that it says $29.95 per month, with the dollar sign instead of the Euro symbol. I don't know why I would make a big deal about $6, but was curious about it.

Reedited stuff and quality

I was a litlle hasty with my praise of the reruns at 1ByDay.
The webmaster said that by april they'd have two fresh and 1 reedited video/photoset daily/nightly. - That promise was ok.
But today the site has gone downhill with too many reruns/reedited videos on behalf of new stuff.
AND those reedited videos are NOT what I hoped for. The file size in both VMW and DIVX are quite large (mostly 300Mb-450Mb) but the quality and sharpness (or rather lack of..)are far from the newer videos at about same size.
I still honor the effort to remake the good ol' stuff, but the video-quality is disappointing.

More updates - 3 times instead of two

I had some thoughts, that 1ByDay is going for more remakes of older material - instead of new. And suspected lack of new material.
Just received a mail from Bela at 1ByDay - here the message is:

"from April the plan is to to have two brand new sets every single day (1by-day and 1by-night) and to also have a third "reloaded" set for you too - so that will mean three updates every single day!"

And one other item, I dig: They ask members which older stuff we want to watch in remake, reedited or simply better quality.
And it's both video and photos-sets!

Not bad, if you ask me....

Downhill - or lack of new materiel????

I would not have guessed this:
But in some ways it seems, that 1ByDay is NOT living up to their fine reputation - anymore.
There are som signs, that this good site is compromising.
Some later sets and videos are edited versions of older stuff.
It's ok that they put up SOME of the old favorites in much better quality - but the sets/videos I've checked out are not MUCH better than the old onces. And that kind of content is increasing.
I just signed up for the 6. 7. or maybe 8th time (don't remember anymore) - but I still expect the best....
(one small comfort: There is a great new (I think) video of Eve Angel)

There's way too much already. It looks like they dip all their models into a giant vat of orange make-up and then dump a bucket of powder over them before each shoot. My guess is that half of the budget for each shoot is spent on orange body make-up.

Too glamorous for me

First of all I was a member back in 2006 so my thoughts might not be 100% accurate at this time. Please feel free to correct or comment my thoughts when necessary.

The picture sizes and quality are still more than good but what kept me from staying there was the fact that everything was too glamorous for me.

Joined again this november.
Why don't I just keep on beeing a member? Well, for the variation I guess. And want to spend my money elsewhere, too - again for the variation.
But this site has what it takes, and it seems to get better and better - 2 top quality video/photosets each 24 hours - som models you'll like and some not so much. Friends at TBP

There's still the wrong currency stated at one of the TOP 10 sites, 1BYDay.
It's $24.95 - but after I joined yesterday, I realized it was 24.95 Euro - which turned out to be $34.95 on my CCBill-account - a bummer, even if it was my own fault for not looking closer. But I might have picked an other site.

And even as a european I still go for dollars (we voted out euros in Denmark, thank you). So both we here in Northern Europe and folks in the US gotta look ekstra for the currency....

A few things about the new 1byday

Maybe I was just dreaming, but I thought for sure when I saw that beautiful new opening page that all the site would be updated to that look, but the archives goes back to the old pink and white pages. I'm personally boycotting Aria Giovanni. I thought for sure her videos from July on 1byday would at least be masturbation. But it isn't. I really do applaud DDF for at least working to make his site better. I love the 2 updates per day idea, and that is 2 pic sets with HD videos for each one as well. What I would really like to see is the older videos be pieced together into one file. I've never watched a Sandra Shine solo movie from 1byday simply because they are split, and she is in my top 5 favorites.

I don't know if the newer content since July is on a different server, but there is a speed improvement on the new content. Overall, the re-launch is a good one, but I think it could have been much better.

Model names

I don't know if this site has patent of giving the models their right or best know name. Anyway they seem to hit best....
But generally there's too much trouble with a lot of different names of the same models in different sites. (See my review for Sexy Employee and Droolers comment)

Maybe we should make a poll - or maybe not. 'cause why is it so. I only got two answers:

1) Most of the webmasters don't even know.

2) They speculate in different names so it may look like (to the rookie) they got some of it exclusive.

Just a guess from my point of view....

New 1 BY Day

Just joined 1 By Day again.
This looks great - a new design which allows easier navigation with the newer stuff. The design gives a whole lot of better presentation.

But foremost all the new videos have more options: Two qualities of WMV, one very crisp DIVX and QT - and the quality is generally much better now.

And 1 By Day is getting new models and some better editing for the hardcore. They even try to make new ways for solo-videos.
Only been a member for two days now, but it really looks promissing.

1byday has been a long mainstay in my favorite sites category. The only complaint any of us really had about it was that the site had a dated look and hadn't really improved the quality that much. Then, the quality improved greatly this month, plus they have had the high quality hardcore videos for awhile.

August is my month to re-join it, so I was looking around at all the changes which include a daily calender that shows not only what day an update was posted of each model, but also the exact time. So, I was scanning the updates and a major gasp, Aria Giovanni is now on 1byday and has been for all of July. I can't preview the videos but one says 17 minutes. Looks like I will be making a trip back here to follow-up my review which already has 1byday in my top 10. I will post something about the new Aria content, it is rare to see new exclusive Aria content, especially if it is high quality/resolution.

1byday has finally added a future update calender so you know whats coming up in the future. Also they added wmv full scene download in hdv 1280 x 720. Also full scene download in divx, flash, and quicktime in high definiton. Nice updates! Also they changed there search options by breast size, pubic hair, uniform, location, hair color. they must of been listening to me. lol. The work sometimes is seen on other sites ie; ladies, images and videos.

I was a member twice to 1byday and I must say that amount of content is so huge that you need a year to browse it all (not mention watching it). Great site. I hope they will improve (if not yet) size and quality of their videos. No doubt however that pictures are professional.

1ByDay is truly great, but ...

Does not get my membership for more than a month at a time.

Note that one of the reviewers states that all the models have 'tans' -- actually its a colour balance adjustment thing. Compare 90% of 1ByDay images against other great websites. You'll see that the skin tones are 'yellow' in comparision.

However, once in a while, Denys shoots in a predominately white background, or doesn't use so many gold reflectors and the results are truly sublime. Its actually more erotically compelling to see proper skin tones.

I'll guess that the images are 'warmed' up to give them the kind of gloss found in magazine copy. However the source material in terms of models, poses and progressions is so so good in the first place. Please made we have it with a natural, or as is balance.

Great website
