In that case my sincere apologies, Captain. Maybe it IS the small size of the thumbs that gave me the wrong picture, Or, as I mentioned earlier, maybe it IS my age that makes everyone under 50 look like a youngster. If the latter is indeed the case then I wish I could take back my comment!

In any case, I will find out soon enough how the models look in larger pictures. Average age for 8 models is 41 years.

We dont make the models look older or younger, we don't use makeup artists because they try to make them look like pornstars, we ask the women to do their makeup like they are going to a formal night out.

I took a real hard look at August updates. Tacori Blu in her one thumb she looks low 30s so I can see that but to be honest I am just not seeing what you saying. I think the small size of the thumbnails do not show off what the full size looks like because of the crop. I would really like to hear if you have the same opinion after seeing the full size images of these sets.

Jena Jackson looks spot on to me. Look at her face!

Cascade, there is no way she looks under 45, she looks closer to 55 then 50.

I don't know, maybe I am not a good judge of age.

I just had a look at August's updates through this site's tour and don't see one single older woman as advertised in the site's banner? Or maybe modern miracle cosmetics make mature women look as if they are in their twenties? Doesn't this defeat the purpose of a "mature" "older" site, though by robbing it of its uniqueness. After all take away the mature look and you will find other sites just like this one all over the place. Just a comment, this IS a good site but I no longer see "older" in it. I hope August's updates are a fluke.

You know, mr. smut, I would normally agree with you about the water marks because that's one of my pet peeves but in the case of Anilos it somehow never bothered me because they tuck it into the lower right hand corner. Where watermarks really bother me is when they are right in my face, on top, or worse a bit down from the top.

I agree with your recommendation because I have been a subscriber to Anilos many times. I think my most recent subscription was only earlier on this year, so you're right ... it would be nice if they updated like AO30 but maintained their quality of models and material! This way I would have five times the amount of updates to look at! :-)

I retract part of my reply above because I just came back from a quick tour and noticed that the last hardcore update was on the 12th of April, so one hc update in 12 days wouldn't be too bad and I could indeed handle this by using the Captain's filtering method! I can understand both sides. On the one hand we have the web owners/ masters who feel they have to diversify because they are being bombarded daily by hardcore lovers for more of their favorite material, while those of us who would have liked to subscribe to a mature site that is reasonably softcore are suffering from a lack of choice.

I don't mind "pink," or insertions or even g/g material, even though some purists would not consider that softcore but something in between, so it is not pure softcore that attracts me but the absence of the male of the species. And any update containing b/g is regrettably always a wasted one for me.

This is no reflection on the other Captain's site. As I stated above, I can understand that economics play a part in what's being offered in Anilos, I just wish he'd build one for us that leaves out the men!

And, if we, as per his suggestion, screened out all hardcore content it would just make it glaringly obvious that there are not too many daily updates that would appeal to the softcore lover, unless he did an "All Over 30" with five or more updates a day.

These are just musings of a frustrated man, the other Captain! I still think you have a fine site and will be back eventually once the softcore has built up again to make it worth my while to subscribe. If you put some of the ladies into some exotic, erotic lingerie it would definitely hasten my return! :-)

That banner has not changed, it has always said that. Also our stance on content has not changed. We offer solo sets and an additional man woman video and picture set if the woman does that. However we are working on some more filtering options to hide the hardcore for those who do not want to see it.

Confirming my earlier concerns about the weighting of the content, the subtitle of the site banner has changed to:

This presupposes that the sight of Dildos is so repugnant to me that I don't even want to see them in the previews and updates, Captain.

For me it would just be a duplication of effort because it is evident from one look at the updates which sets contain dildos and which ones don't and they are therefore easy to avoid. My biggest beef is that there are stretches where haters of dildos would feel cheated (and vice versa) and that weekly updates should contain at least a balanced mix of both.

However, your idea has merit for those who join your site for the first time and don't want to spend most of their time sifting through sets that don't appeal to them.

I'd personally like to see a filter for lingerie, if it's not there already, because, on occasion, I'll even forgive the photographer the dildo if the lingerie is pretty enough. I can always delete the part where the dildo comes into play! :-) Cheers, and thanks for your personal involvement in our remarks and beefs and praises.

I got to thinking more about this. On Nubiles for the search you can exclude all sets with toys. We are going to add that exclusion search to Anilos, also for both sites the output of the search is alphabetical per girl but if we can change it to be last set updated then you can use that as your updates list to grab the content.

Hi Captain, I knew I could count on a reply from you. That's what makes your sites special. I am sure that if I subscribed right now I could find quite a few sets and videos dated June (when I was last there, I think) until now.

My problems always start once I'm caught up, which usually doesn't take me terribly long because for me women in pretty lingerie are the magnet and one does not see sets featuring lingerie (except the bare bones stuff) too often these days. Was there more of that a few years ago or am I dreaming?

Therefore the daily update becomes THE thing to look forward to and if the mixture of what I want and what others want isn't balanced so that I can look forward to at least one good set (for me) every few days I get frustrated as you can tell! :-)

Thanks for recognizing the bad ratio when it comes to certain photographers/producers and your willingness to do something about it and I'm confident I'll be back to enjoy your site soon.

Our shooting specifications are for 4 solo sets of which half must be toy free. If a girl does HC hardcore then we often shoot extra set. One of the problems I think is that the updates are not alternated per toy free and toys, just whatever goes.

Here are the girls who were updated during the time you mentioned.

Sofia Matthews - has two toy free sets and two toy sets.
Samantha Rae - we failed, she has only 1 toy free set out 4.
Kelly Leigh - has two toy free sets and two toy sets.
Andi Roxxx - has two toy free sets and two toy sets.
Lailani - only one toy set from what i see
josefine james - has two toy free sets and two toy sets.
Kate kasle - has two toy free sets and two toy sets.
Robbye bently - we failed, she has only 1 toy free set out 4.

I thought we were doing better, but I still see a few girls in there that have a bad ratio. So I see there are still problems :( My only excuse is our production manager had his mind on other things, and he is no longer working here. But some of his work we are still updating, these shoots were all shot back in July. Takes us a long time to get them on the site.

So we still aren't quite there, sorry about that. Will make sure the new production manager understands this.

Hi Capn. I read that slightly different. I took it to mean that the site contained women willing to do hardcore. As to the models, there is a model directory on the left hand side underneath the buttons you looked at that will list all the models. There are also further details about the models to be found, including how far they are willing to go, many will not do hardcore. I'm not sure if these statistics can be seen on the tour but they are there! I accept the fact that it is a mixed site just hope they'll start mixing hc and sc a bit better when it comes to updates so there's something for everyone in the space of a week.

After a very disappointing stay with another site I thought I might re-subscribe with Anilos but once again they forgot to mix things up a bit for softcore and hardcore lovers alike.

This is what I found among the October updates: D = Dildo, HC = Hardcore:

Oct. 14 - D, Oct. 16 - D, Oct. 18 - D, Oct. 19 - 2 HC,
Oct. 22 - D, Oct. 23 - D.

For someone who looks forward to the daily updates and is looking for solos without dildos this would be an aggravating disappointment. Eight (for our taste) useless updates in the space of a bit more than a week would set me off, I know. :-)

The same disappointment would be felt by hardcore lovers or lovers of dildo sets when there is too long a stretch of softcore. I think a bit more mixing up of the material is still required! Hope this is taken as positive criticism because I still love this site.

Hi Capn, I haven't been a member lately but assume that the basic mixture of hardcore/softcore/midcore is still the same. Where they did make a mistake was in not mixing up the updates enough so that there was a long string of updates featuring hardcore/midcore at the expense of softcore at the time I voiced my complaint.

Picture quality isn't all that

After reading all the great reviews, I joined the site and I have to say that I don't agree with the comments regarding the picture quality. I'm seeing way too much field of focus blurring - especially on closeups. I can't put a percentage on the number of sets affected by it, but it really surprised me how many times I thought to myself, "Now why is THAT blurry?"

We have had the policy that for every girl at least half of her content is without toys and dildos, but fingers and masturbation are ok. But it seems you are right. We have not been doing a good job of enforcing this with our producers. I will get on their asses. Thanks for pointing this out.

As for the hardcore, thats just an extra set. We don't shoot any less solo sets if they have hardcore.

I've been exposed to artistic nudes by the masters all my life and while I can admire a work of art or the beauty of a model, if the eroticism is missing it's not for me. I was talking about DVD sites and the majority of scenes on DVDs where the girl sits on a sofa or bed, giving her name and age and what she expects to be doing that day and then, presto, out of the blue appear two naked males fully erect taking up position on either side of her and away they go! Or one male, or the photographer .. in any case, no transition. Weird you mention interviews because that was one of the favorite things I liked about the site. The fact that most were interviewed by a woman which made a better atmosphere in my opinion and the teasing the models would do. As far as the 'more is better' thing, I dunno if I'm right. I'm just throwing it out there :) I think it makes sense but I think it might be a combo of that and the fact that almost every site does it as well. It's probably a huge factor that most sites do it that the directors/producers feel the need to do it to so they are not the odd ones out. I have to agree that I'm sure that the masses must enjoy dildos or that there are just not enough of the majority complaining about it that they must think that this is what the masses want.

Met-art is strictly softcore. No hardcore, no midcore, no masturbation.

If you want more action than 1 or 2 pretty teens standing, sitting, lying down, etc., then you need to look elsewhere.

You should be able to get a basic idea of the site from reading the numerous reviews posted at PU.

There are probably thousands of photosets posted at Met-art. It is a huge mega-site.

There are a huge number of videos, mainly 10 minutes runtime or less. The videos are almost all boring and a waste of time. The models in the videos can be lovely, beautiful, or merely attractive, but the videos are a waste of time to watch, after you've seen a few to get an idea of what they are like. I don't understand the psychology of why Met-art will post photosets of lovely girls that I find erotic, and yet videos of the same models are just a bore. Almost all of the PU reviewers that mention the videos state that the videos are a waste of time.

If the PU reviews don't give you enough information on whether Met-art would be appealing to you, you should be able to find 1000s of free mini-photosets of the Met-art photosets. I mean, there are 1000s of reduced-number of picture photosets on the internet. Many were posted by Met-art itself, as a form of advertising for the site. So if you look at a number of those photosets, you should get a good idea of whether the site is worth your while.

A 1-month subscription is only $20 (rounded off). So it's not expensive.

I've had several 1-year memberships to Met-art, because it's my favorite porn site.

I posted a PU review of Met-art over a year ago. And there are plenty of other PU reviews of Met-art that are worthwhile reading. Some people love the site, some like it, other people think it's over-rated and not worth joining.

The disturbing thing when it comes to "more is better" is that a lot of subscribers must agree with them or they wouldn't continue to do it.
