Trial is NOT full.

The trial is FAR from full: you can download...well...almost nothing: a couple of pictures and maybe 1-2 of the short and small videos sized 20-75MB (5-8mins). You can only view SOME of the pictures, no ZIPs, no full videos and when you have started downloading 2 of the small videos you are prompted to upgrade to a full 39.99/month membership.

+ it's very difficult to cancel
+ it's slow: 20-30kb/s, I usually get 400-1000kb/s on my fast broadband connection.

Siteadmins, please update the correct info info on the TBP site.

I like the idea of a "CIA covet" operation, it definitely has Biblical implications ... sort of what canceling might be like here. This one caught my eye because it has a 3 day trial which is usually enough time to cancel. If this offer is still around in a week or two I might test the waters after digging through the fine print on the sign-up page and confirming that they use a reliable billing processor.

As an anal retentive Englishman I am thoroughly ashamed to have left the "r" out of covert. My old English master would be shouting at me. So I may have to beat him up again. Just so I don't waste this post entirely here are some more misspelled words.

I'd keep well away if I were you. Unless you want to get the CIA to try and cancel for you. Even they may give up, and consider a covet undercover operation to overthrow the Chinese government an easier proposition.

Is "Free Trial" Really Worth It?

I just noticed that this site and a few others in the network are listed as having a "free" 3 day full access trial. Noticing the monthly rate is an outrageous $40 I'm not exactly leaping on the bandwagon to test drive the trial in case something happens ... free usually translates something bad when it comes to porn trials. Just wondering if anyone has given this one a spin on the freebie?

(Postscript): I went through the sign up process to see what the deal was on this. Apparently in order to cancel you have to send an email to someone with your sign up info in order to cancel. No promises of speedy replies or any confirmation of your cancellation exist. Billing is through a nonstandard 3rd party processing agent. My vote is to take a pass on this unless you like to gamble.
