One of the TBP Editors checked the site with both Firefox and MSIE (using the latest Nortons) and didn't receive any warnings.

At this point, we'll have to think it was another site that triggered the warning.

Don't give up on Porn.com completely just yet, audrina. If you look at my comments in Download Pass (clone) and Porn.com then you'll see that they've always yo-yoed. During one subscription I will praise them to high heaven because I just got finished downloading at 1.7 MB/s then next time around I'm lucky to get dial-up speeds. I would predict that during your subscription you will have days with very good speeds if that's any consolation. Have you tried downloading with Firefox DownThemAll? It's a great tool and speeds up downloads considerably.

I very seldom go to the classics section of any of the DVD sites because the quality in those days was horrible. Dark, blurry, colors bleed etc., so I won't hold Porn.com responsible for that but I do hold them responsible for incomplete scenes and some of the glitches they appear to go through every so often. As I said, for some reason there are months when they are quite good, especially for the price we pay and I got some material (German Porn) I couldn't get anywhere else but then, all of a sudden they appear to take a technical dive. Could never figure it out. What aggravates me at the moment is the sudden increase in Spam I've experienced since I re-subscribed plus the appearance of pop-unders for a dating service every time I go to their site. :-(

I've just joined this site and their search engine sucks. I also found the classic section is the pits also, lousy quality videos not enough of the 80 & 90's stuff just one video of Tami Ann. no marilyn chambers stuff or some of my favorites from those years. I use VLC player for my mp4 files and my keen mind deducted that something might be wrong when the player showed 8 minutes to go when I first started a 23 minute scene! :-) Not all mp4 files are incomplete, of course, and I actually like the healthy ones for their picture quality.

Ha ha ha, yeah, it's buggy but cheap fun. If you find that perfect porn site, tell everybody though :-P. I also agree about the incomplete MP4 files as well, I've seen that too... I know when it happens because when you skip through a downloaded MP4 video it freezes. It also never makes it to the end when you watch it the whole way through. Some MP4's I've dled from that site don't have those problems. That's why I don't dl the MP4s. Then again, I can't tell if they're really incomplete or not because the listed filesizes are always wrong!

A lot of the stuff is recycled. For instance the Pornstar Tryouts videos have material from 4 or 5 years back and have it down as new. The Bree Olson video has been labelled as "added yesterday." A few days ago it was supposed to be added last year. Last year I downloaded it as a clip from I think 2006 or thereabouts.

But there is still stuff that is surprisingly good. The pictures are quite good for a cheapo site too. If I ever find that perfect site you have been looking for I shall notify you immediately. You might think it would be easy to find, but it isn't!

I looked into this and there was an issue with one of the servers delivering the streaming porn goodness. It's been fixed and measures taken to ensure the same problem can't happen again.

I really like the site as well, Squirrel, that's why I re-subscribed, and with their price I do feel that I'm getting my money's worth but with all those flaws popping up again I am getting very aggravated.

I'm not sure if they reduced the quantity of their updates because my memory fails me in that respect but I think I've pretty well got everything of interest from this site now and with one or two updates a day it wouldn't make any sense to stay longer than a month. Maybe I'll be back one of these days and find occasion to praise them to the highest.

Well, I wouldn't hesitate to re-subscribe but will wait a while until they have the updates to make it worth my while. The Price is certainly right. However, you won't go wrong with VideoBox either except that they cost a touch more a month. If you are a member already it wouldn't make much sense anyway because Porn.com carries largely the same contents. I would estimate 75-80 percent.

you`re right. my confusion has come with the fact that the outlook of the sites totally differ from each other. they have the same content and the same videos :( (that`s what you call a clone i guess? i thought a clone is the exact same siteoutfit with the same inside, which only differs by the sitename. in the end, it makes no difference, but that kind of clone site ist imo close to fraud, because you can`t see at the first sight that`s the same.) my confusion is solved, my anger is rising
