Ok, so the past 48 hours have been pretty cool.

Here's the features we've added:

A real chat, none of this shoutbox shit.

2. Referrals are back baby!
You read that right! The referral system is back. Starting next month, we will start having referral contests again! You can find your referral link by viewing your profile

3. Staff Page
Screw the post, we have a whole goddamn page dedicated to showing just who's who!

4. Reputation System
Like something someone posted? Or hate it? You can rate them now!

5. Best 3
We are going to start having a:
Top Poster of the week
Topic of the week
Referral Leader of the week
They will be displayed above the forum. With each of these comes an award listed on your profile as well as 100gp!

Of course, the staples remain: An individual photo gallery, your own profile, arcade, accumulating GP to save up and spend on FREE memberships to GGO, along w/ collectable "cards"! And of course, getting to hang out and chat with some of the models on GeekGirlsOnline

Well, we finally bit the bullet and put GeekGirlsOnline.com on a private server. It has since become blazing fast, more stable and gives us greater control over the whole site!

To commemorate this occasion, we have lowered our 6 month and 1 year membership prices as follows:

A Retroactive Month...For Free!

A little over a month ago I reviewed this site after enjoying a month's membership. Although I had some qualms with the site, I praised it for its ingenuity and saw only good things on the horizon. My intention was to check back in with the site after a few months to see how it had grown and to report on whether or not it was deserving of the promise I had forecasted.

While the jury is still out, I am happy to report that the site automatically gave everyone who joined during 2007 an extra month of membership, even for those who had already cancelled. I confirmed that my membership was again active and am pleased to report that I have full access. Not a ton has changed (and I wouldn't have expected a lot of change that fast), though updates have continued to be steady and more girls are featured overall.

I still plan to check back in with the site in a few months to allow them some time to make improvements to the site, but if guestures like providing a free month to past customers are any indication, I think the site is headed in the right direction.

I really want to see sites lik this succeed, especially for those of us who are tired of the same old crap repackaged a hundred different ways. Creativity is a great thing...and damn sexy! ;)

Thanks for the reply! I was very excited to check out the site and was eager to write a review, but then realized that my lower score might be interpreted that I didn't like it. Nothing could be further from the truth however and if you read my review I think that comes through....I hope! The sky is the limit for your site, at least for me. ;)

Just a few clarifications:

We have 8 models now :)

We have consolidated many of our links, so that the menus aren't as confusing.

And expect a hardcore set soon! :-D

But I appreciate your opinion very much. It gives me perspective on what I need to work on, and what I need to change :)

It is small at the moment, as we are still in the early development stages, and have done the entire site off of $250 (which went to a year of server fees). All the models have donated the sets, as they felt we had great potential. Expect a lot of things out of this site, but it may be a little slow at first.

I sound just like an 80s sorority girl, but OH MY GOD! Can this be the site I've waited for all these months? By all means, anyone check it out, but I'll be reviewing this one personally as soon as I get the time. It looks a bit small at the moment, but any great site starts out that way. Of course it could be too good to be true and no substance. However, I'll take that risk! :)

Visa Signups

Some may have had an issue signing up with Visa the past 2 weeks. This has since been corrected. Visa is now working, as well as MasterCard, JCB and Discover!
