Luna Lane has been a fave of mine. I even found some of her doing hardcore, which was a surprise since I'd been "introduced" through the relatively tame Digital Dreamgirls (as it was called then) and ALS Scans. But I haven't seen anything new of her for awhile. Anyway, she's really cute and all that.

Thanks for the pointers on Lana Lopez. If you haven't checked her out at VIP Area, you might. And since you love Latinas, you ought to see the stuff there of Valerie Rios. It is staggeringly hot.

I had meant to reply to this earlier since you may collect Lana. I wouldn't have believed it, but I found a very explicit set of Lana at Kink's Fucking Machines, really surprised me seeing Lana on there, but the set was worth more than this whole solo site was. Also found 3 lesbian sets of her on Brazzers which I wouldn't have expected either. For some reason I always had a problem with confusing Lana Lopez and Luna Lane so I first thought those were Luna, but they are Lana including maybe the "cutest" femdom set with Lana dominating Ella Milano. It looks like it hurts Lana just to act "mean". But those three sets are much more than I'm used to seeing her in.

Good review. I think a lot of these solo sites are just a disappointment, with the main model giving up on updating with exclusive material. Sadly this one seems to be the case here. Really a shame because Lana is so damn cute.

I looks as though in quality terms the site hasn't changed in the 3+ years since I reviewed it. Plus there's that extraordinary markup for those "explicit" items.

Lana deserves a better site.

It's not a missing photoset per se, but a zip file; when you attempt to open it, it tells you "no files to extract" even though it's some 25MB in size. I went ahead and just used the slideshow feature to gather up the photos one at a time, and that worked OK. Didn't take long.

I think that webmasters would rather be contacted directly about a problem on their site, but I actually prefer to report it in a review. They provide a product, and it costs us money as it is currently live, so it's a "consumer/reviewer-to-provider" relationship. They need to keep on their toes. Were I in their shoes, the same kinds of expectations would apply.

And it comes down to one simple and sensible idea: check your work BEFORE it goes live. (Don't expect your customers to do this job for you, post hoc.) It amazes me how often certain webmasters drop the ball in this way. They're flakes.

And if the problem is fixed, I'll amend the review. And on this site it was the only one "glamour" set that had this problem, so it's hardly a big deal. I'd say the Lana Lopez webmaster is doing a pretty good job overall.

Regarding the zipsets, it's a common feature in most sites in the network and I agree there's little interest in them but for the more devoted fans. You buy them also through ccbill and get a 3-day non-renewing membership to a section where you can download a single zip file.

Take into account, though, that most of the models in the network do very tame stuff and they take it a bit further only in these sets. There's even a model who doesn't pose fully nude but in the zipsets (Flo Jalin). People must be buying them, because there are already 12 sets... I believe the zipsets are as much a way to get extra income as a way to reduce as much as possible the diffusion of those images.

I really like the way the sites in this network are organized. What I like the most is that the sites show in the free tour exactly what you will get when you join. Every site should do that. I see that at Next Door Lana you have to be a member to get past the second page but in the free tour you know anyway the exact count of sets you will get once you join. I agree, though, that video quality could be improved.
