Great Site - many of the older issues seem to have been resolved

I would have written a complete review, but the others have covered almost everything, so I'll just add a couple of updates.

DRM - there are still some files that have DRM on them, but of the 100+ scenes I downloaded I only found maybe 5 that still had DRM (mostly in older videos).

DL Speed - I know that there have been a few complaints, but I don't see a problem. My average DL speed is 400kb/sec. That compares very well to Video Box, for example, where I average less than 200kb/sec.

Updates - I've been a member for less than a month, and given the number of movies already on the site it will be a while before I have to worry about that. When I do, I'm sure I'll agree with the people who complain about the lack of regular updates.

Sound issues - no one has mentioned this before, but I've found that the sound isn't in sync with the video on many of the scenes. It isn't off by much, but enough to be annoying.

Over all, this site is well organized and worth the money. Yes, I know that some have complained about the cost, but Third is an excellent studio and it is worth it. Bundled with Zero Tolerance makes it an amazing value. If Third and Zero are to your liking, you can build an impressive collection quickly.

I give full marks to studios like this who make good movies, and then make them available on the net at a reasonable price with no DRM. I only hope that this business model continues to get picked up by other studios.

Third Site Membership Added

Third Movies just added another site to the membership. In addition to ZTOD, you now get access to Black Ice Pass. It features mostly black actors and/or actresses and is not yet listed by TBP. Adding a third site is a good way to increase the value of this site. Way to go!

Better conditions

Had some dispute with the two sites: Third Movies and ZTOD (package deal) where you were not able to download some of the content - just stream. (see review)

Just went through both - and they have altered things, so it's now possible to download all content. Well, at least the stuff I tried to grab without luck earlier...

DRM Issues Resolved?

Third Movies was actively removing DRM from its videos. However, at last check, there were a few bugs in the system as some videos were offline and others still had DRM attached. Does anyone know if the process of removing DRM is complete yet?

Freezing Downloads

I am having major problems with downloads freezing. My connection speed at better than 4mbps is not the issue. I attempted to contact them thru their Support Page and it won't go through either. Some Support Page if it doesn't reach them.

Download Issues

I stated it in my review for Third Movies but there were certain clips that I had problems downloading or even viewing in the WMV Medium format. I am on a Mac but I have the Flip4Mac plugin and have had no issues viewing WMVs on other sites so I knew it was on their end. I sent them an email about it and was told that they would work on it. 2 weeks went by and I was still having issues with the same clips so I sent another email and heard nothing back. The other day I finally went and downloaded the XVID codec and was able to download some clips before my membership expired but overall it ended up being a waste of money.

Not only were there issues on the Third Movies site but on the ZTOD site I guess they have been removing DRM from their clips and a lot of them weren't working so overall I ended up being pretty disappointed with the membership. Like I said in my review, the content is top notch and the talent is gorgeous but if you can't use the product it makes it pretty meaningless.

Download Speed

Just joined this site. The site advertises incredible download speed. Maybe their server is having a bad day, but so far it is almost the slowest download speed I've encountered on a major site. I tried and tried again, and even checked my own connection, which is normal and fast. Like I said, maybe they are having a bad day...if it changes, I'll post again. But so far. it's S-L-O-W! ***UPDATE***As promised, I wrote that I would post again if any changes occurred. After a few days, download speed increased. I would characterize it as average.
