great soft-core site

I'm a fan of soft-core porn and this met my standards. I had joined the site only for Verunka and Lola and found some other great looking models through the way. The images sizes are great; although, their logo is way to large on some of the older sets which gets on my nerves sometimes when I want to put them on my desktop. The video quality are great and I love when they do the interview ones for some of the models. They still update about ever day and there are sets that have lesbian scenes. For the price, this is must have.

Giving the site a go

OK, after reading otoh's comment, I checked out the LSG Models site. The $12.50 deal got my attention so I decided to take advantage of the deal. I signed on a few minutes ago at $12.50 for one month.

Because I'm a video guy, my first impression is that it's video style is somewhat similar to FTV. It has very fast video download speeds and good quality (1280x720), but the first two videos I downloaded were only about 3 minutes long.

If the update dating on the site is accurate, the last video update was June 5, 2011. The next earlier update was April 17, 2011. A total of 7 updates in 2011.

But at $12.50, and at first glance it looks like there may be enough drainable content to be worth the price of admission for the month.

I will write a review after I've checked it out in detail.

OK, I decided to take the plunge on the LSG Models site and will write a review when I've checked it out in detail. First impression is that it's somewhat similar to FTV with very fast download speeds.

I checked out the three sites owned by this company by using the TBP links. Based on the dates shown for updates it looks like the sites became dormant early this year and are now trying to gather a few extra bucks before shutting down their servers.

The content looks quite good. I'm more into beautiful babes doing midcore* scenes so I may just sign up for the 3 month deal to give me plenty of time to check out the content in detail.

*I define "softcore" as the stuff you see on MetArt and "midcore" as content that includes insertions of toys and such like this one seems to do.

Thanks for the reply, tangub. I'm still not quite sure about the site, but for the price it's perhaps worth a try, I'm still keen on some of the models... but there are a couple more in the running too (which brings me to another comment). Your review was, as ever, most helpful :)

It's just a temporarily reduced subscription price that was not previously offered. Normally LSG Models is higher price than LSB Videos.

The videos were certainly included on LSG Models when i was there last year with the videos only site being a cheaper option if you didn't want the photos. Looks like they're focusing more on photo updates now as only 7 new videos this year according to the tour, last year the updates would alternate between a photo set and a video. Have to admit i didn't like this site as much as Breath Takers or Petites Parisiennes and found the quality a bit amateurish.

There are a few models I like here, and for $12.50 am thinking it's worth a try. But I also notice LSG Videos - which has just video content without the photos, for a higher price. But it seems that the videos are available on LSG Models too... am I missing something?

People who have been considering joining this site might want to take a look at their current sale, which runs through January - I love when a site gives you the dates when their specials will end - seriously.

If I recall, the deal is $12.50 for a month or $25 for 3 months - quite a deal.

What is it with the British sites?

Isn't Secretease also a British site with a price of $13.50 or so for a month - nice deals!

Goodbye - after a year

A $ 40 - somewhat - for a whole year of membership is certainly NOT bad for a site, that is supposed to be in the major-league.
But the problem is, that LSG "consider" their site as "top-of-the-pops"/the major league.
It's not.
Yesterday I ended my one year term here, and saved almost nothing.
In this users opinion the videos are generally worth nothing - they are boring, the scenes are repetitive - and they have very few new models.
The photosets are not any better.
Will not be back - a new review is not worth the time to write it - just this: Not recommended - this site has gone downhill.

Boring

Been a member now for almost a whole year (a deal back then in Spring 2008 for $45 something).
But after visits now and then - I almost never go there anymore - the videos are mostly, yes: boring.
But recently they got a new model: Samantha - smashing, a doll.

And what comes up: a video with this beauty and a loud muzak to follow - it sounds like some Ted Post-movie from the 70th (Dirty Harry alike). A rather dramatic music-background along with an otherwise fine video of a great/sweet model, man, what's the world comming to?

Glad it worked out Denner. I am not sure if I would want my password restored or a refund after dealing with a site like that. But one thing I agree with you about is that CCBill is usally very good in dealing with issues like that. I always try and use them as my biller when I am given the option to choose.

LSG had an offer some 2-3 months ago: a whole year for around $40.
After a couple of months my login/password stopped working last week - it should work till summer 2009.
So off with mail to the webmaster - no answer after three day, then another mail - still no answer - for almost a week.
In the same period they were busy with promotions for the site - I recieved three mails on that - but they obviously don't care when they allready have taken your money...
So - without much hope - I mailed CCBill about it.
To my surprise: After 5 minuttes I got a mail, that they had reinstated my login/password - and it worked...
But for the LSG-people: Try to be concerned about your paying costumers too!

This VIP, or Premium og whatever is bad politics for websites with webmasters who are a little too smart: You get some extras if you just pay a couple of bucks more...
Pier 999 had it (when they were active - are these buys on the deroute?) and now LSG.
It's just a way to get more money out of members/customers.
I really dislike it.

VIP (n.) - an acronym for Very Important Person, meaning someone who can get the same nude gallery but with extra photos showing more pink and sometimes phallus insertions. (See "Very Interested in 'Pink'")

I'm rather annoyed by this VIP schtick they have going on at LSG models. You download a gallery, never sure if you might want to later replace it, as it's always possible that a VIP version will come along later and you'll like it better.

Of course this means the busy work of seeing if you've got the coach-class version already, and checking through the VIP one as well.

The VIP sets should be completely fresh material. Then you'd be sure they're worth viewing, and getting, and that's all the bother they'd be. Simple idea, isn't it?

To be fair, they have added 14 VIP videos since the VIP launch champagne bottle was smashed two months ago.

But would you pay an extra $8 to $10 monthly premium for that? Seems a bit much to me.

Sorry to hear that. So far the P U commentary suggested that this was a good site with an interest in high standards, including their business practics. Their pricing in sensible and their samples are efective. (I plan to try LSG after I've checked out FTV throroughly and have written a comprehensive review.)

The noton that you can pull a stunt like that suggests that the webmaster doesn't expect to maintain any loyalty even with the discounted price for renewing members.

I suspect that our friends in the business will discover how lousy practices like this really are. The old story in business is, if you make one customer happy, one person knows. If you make one person unhappy, five people know. If you make one person REALLY unhappy 25 people know.

Add to that if you piss off a P U member enough, it may result in "hasta la vista, baby" for the site itself.

You've got a point there. A shill is normally someone who is part of the group that wants its stuff promoted, but payola is received from an outsider, as is the case with DJ's getting perks from record companies for giving airtime to particular songs.

So for us, payola is free porn stuff.

Yeah, maybe this is a start of new undermining of this good PU.
As I stated concerning this LSG- "hoax-offer": IF i'd get such a free access, I would stand down (is that the right frase?) from making any review/comments on the site in question.
But it does not seem to be necessary, because I think most of these sites are doing scams - even with us PU's.
It's good to warn about this and I certainly agree on the the question of credibility here at PU.
And maybe we all should publish if we get an offer like that - and take it.

I've been "approached," by e-mail, from various sites offering me free access and asking me to do this or that regarding my posts about their sites.

They haven't directly asked me to show any bias in my views, but the I think the implicit "understandings" have been there.

I've changed my e-mail preferences to keep sites from contacting me away from the posts that appear on PornUsers.

These "offers" are the kind of thing that could very easily undermine credibility here, to where one wouldn't be sure about reviews even by an established reviewer. It wouldn't take long for it to get out of hand.

And for all I know, maybe it has already started to.

These people don't play it straight - it seems.

At feedback you get a promise of free access if you join their program of "extensive comments" and so on....

jd1961 feared 100 points reviews comming up. But, don't wory jd1961 - it seems like the whole setup is a hoax.
Just got a reply - that particular "FREE ACCESS" is limited to 4 - FOUR - sets of photos - nothing more.

AND I only got the answer AFTER extending my membership another month.
It sucks!
And like so much else - it's was too good to be true!
Just went on CCBill and cancelled.

As a member of LSG you can get an opportunity for a free membership, maybe - quite interesting - moneywise.
It seems like.
At the slog "Feedback" they ask for your opion of the site with diffenrent Q and A - good idea!!!

But what they also ask you is this:

"Would you be interested in a free membership, in return for more extensive comments and feedback about our site?"

Well, I would not mind. I told them yes for some 4-5 days ago, but have not heard from them.

I'll let you all know - but if I get that free membership, I'll stand down from making any comments or futher review about the site here at PU - anything else would be violating consumer-trust here!
And if other PU's get the same free access it would be the right thing to tell it here and not make any review, comment and so on about the site at this place.....

Watermark, be gone!

Well, more fool me. Just saw Marina/Euphrat's Prague 2 set, and the watermark is on her leg, dangerously close to her heavenly arse.

Why, why, WHY ever stamp the model's body with a watermark? Why not just choose NOT to? Wouldn't that be better?

Actually, that's a big peeve of mine, too: file names that are not unique for each image. But if they're too long, that's also a problem because they get trailing "..." in window views, so you can't see the file sequence number anyway.

It's also troublesome when there are 2 or more gallery sets from a single shoot, but each set uses the same numbering, starting from, for example, 001.jpg, as you were saying.

I keep them in separate, uniquely named folders, but the problem is when I put them together. So I delete all of the images I don't want, then add a unique start to the files that need it. It means a lot of "click file name, paste, click next file name, paste ..." Then it's time for physical therapy!

BTW, another pain is file naming on a site that goes "1.jpg" to 9, then it's "10.jpg" to 99, then "100.jpg" and so on. They don't sort correctly, so you have to do what should be the site's job of simply naming files in a sensible, sequential way.

Webmasters, are you reading this? Please give your files unique names, but not names that are so long that they cross county lines. Thanks!

The content here is pretty good and very much as described. However this site uses one of my pet hates.

They start their picture sets 001.jpg, 002,jpg etc. Which means if you download any of the images, management becomes a nightmare, because the third time you download 046.jpg, can you remember to call it 046a or 046b 046c etc, and when you come back to a site after a week, how can you remember how far back you got. There's no clue in 046d.jpg !

Anyway, there you are apart from image compression this site is rather good. Drooler thankyou for your review
