Okay. Deleted cookies/temp internet files...and the PU Special now appears...but only when I choose my Country as United States before the sign up process. UK = no offer. I can only assume that if I went ahead and tried to join, the fact that I put United States as my Country of origin, my payment would actually fail. Nevermind, there are other sites I want to try. This kind of problem is usually related to a cookie problem. Many of the specials for sites ONLY show if your cookie for that site shows PU/TBP as the referrer. That's why we suggest that you dump your cookies and temporary Internet files and THEN follow a link from our site. Just following our link won't (always) work if you have an existing cookie for another site (as the referring site).

Still, it's possible this is one of the (ever increasing number of) sites who use "regional pricing". In that case, all you can do is write the site owner and ask if they'll honor the special price they've agreed to.

Logged in. followed your link to DvdBox. Clicked join, choose a usename & password and the next screen showed the two joining options mentioned in my first post (and one of those sneaky $3 trials for some crappy site that rebills if you don't untick the box). Nothing onscreen indicating Best Porn Special.

Note:
I've been messing around at the site whilst typing this..
Shocking. It's not available to people in the UK. People in the US get a 1 day trial for $1.

You might try dumping your cookies and/or temporary files and then revisiting directly from a link here at PornUsers.com or TheBestPorn.com

What reduced Trail price?

(Here we go again) Following the link from PUsers to join up at this site reveals nothing about any 3 full day trial. The joining up options are both for 30 or 90 days, therefore I'm assuming they'll take 30/90 days cash, not 0.66 per day. Scam?

Reduced Trial Prices

I just saw that TBP is offering a special trial for $3 for 3 days and a reduced monthly price of $15. I've been holding off on this site but at this point I think I'll at least take the trial plunge and check it out.

As far as I can remember I had no problems using GetRight in order to download the movies I wanted but that was about one year ago. And to be honest I usually don't care about announcements telling me it's not allowed to use a download manager. I don't see any reason not to use one as long as I'm not using it in leech mode :-)

Speed Varies Wildly

I joined DVD Box over the weekend and have experienced some of the wildest swings in download speed. I use a DL manager that tracks DL speed. When I started, it was over 1MB/sec. By Sunday afternoon, I was getting speeds less than 50KB/sec or a 95% drop in speed. This morning, speeds were back up to 800KB/sec.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

The 21st Sextury DVDs really shocked me. I haven't seen those on any video site. I also noticed in their online survey of members that one of the choices on how to improve the site was, "Get more high quality, exclusive DVDs".

They also have the 21st Sextury European Girls series, and have a new one being added tomorrow I think from the coming soon section. The only real drawback was the gay/tranny since it makes up about 1/5 of all of their movies, but truth be told, I rarely keep the movies I download from DVD sites unless they are of my favorite actresses. The 21st Sextury ones are definite keepers, especially the My Dear Anetta Keys, which has 8 solo videos of Anetta. That TBP discount is always a plus, especially when trying a site that you aren't for sure about.

TBP price looks tempting! The main reason I don't like VideoBox much is that a lot of their DVDs are trashy and old releases, meaning not many hot titles like these you mentioned to be found on this site

Watermarks

The price is good (if subscribed through The Best Porn link), and the quality is ok. I joined this site because it said No Watermarks in the Site Facts. I have yet to find a video at DVD Box that does not have a watermark, they ALL have them. I burn DVD Site videos to DVDs to play on the TV, and the watermarks show up HUGE on a TV screen.

The selection is good, and the download speed is fast, but these videos are best viewed only on a computer screen because of these fairly large logos at the bottom.
