No, I say review them later. I seen many new sites turn out 3 updates a day their first couple of months and then on month three nothing.

No, seriously, if someone scores a site a 90, while stating in the review that at the time of the review there were, say for example, 40 scenes available - why would ANYONE have a problem with that review? Someone please give me a reason for why you would have a problem with such a review.

If you have reason to believe the review was a false or fake review, then by all means go after it. But you cannot challenge a review because the other person values different things than you do.

And if one of you sees someone score a new site higher than you believe it should be scored, then you subscribe to the website yourself and write your own competing review.

Every single website began as a new site, and all the top sites grew because there were people willing to give them a chance early on.

And full disclosure, the one thing that does irk me, are those who believe a website subscription entitles them to uninterrupted 24/7 full speed data streaming. Though I haven't ranted on that in a long while. If this were the widespread attitude of porn subscribers, simply put there would be little to no porn produced anymore. Ask any porn website operator how he really feels about users who use their bandwidth to the maximum.

And as a follow-up, in particular to the third option - once you review a site, unless that site removes content, why would you ever change your score, change your review?

All reviews are based on the content that is available at the time of subscribing.

As the site grows, or doesn't grow, in the future, the content that was the entire basis of the review still exists in full for every successive subscriber.

"Live" sites, sites that focus on cam shows, model interactions, chats, etc., where the value of the content is dependent on interaction on the other end, then yes these sites would have their value changed over time. But the traditional sites which post static photoset and video updates?

Does no one else recognize the inherent problem with the question? Scores are subjective opinions, and unique to the individual. No one should dictate what another person values in a site.

I don't view sites as a "did I get a month full of entertainment" as one here says, I view it as "did I get $xx.xx worth of entertainment" and new, small sites absolutely can deliver.

Some people value quantity more than others. If you do, then pay attention to reviews that value quantity. If not, then pay attention to reviews that value quality.

Really depends for me. I've tried to differentiate in my reviews. In reviews of sites that I personally enjoy the content of, I will review more from the perspective I have towards the content. If it's content that I wasn't into as much personally, I try to review it from potential members perspectives who would enjoy the style/genre. Based on that, if it's a site that I don't personally enjoy, I do take into account how much content there is, but if it's a site I do enjoy the content of, the quantity becomes less important to the score.

I used the comparison before. If a site has 2,000 scenes but I only keep 20 scenes is it really better than a site that has only 40 scenes, but I keep all 40 scenes?

With that said, that's why the sites with the lesser appealing content to me personally get a different scoring system since I figure others more interested in the genre would keep more than 20 out of 2,000 scenes.

I took the third option too - I tend to write a comment or prelimary review which makes it clear it's only a first impression and that the review will be updated and the score revised the site develops - just to let people know if the site seems to have potential and is worth watching, or is currently disappointing and seems to be on the wrong track.

I've never joined a site with only a few scenes so my vote is pure conjecture. I think that if the content they had so far was pleasing, that the site was updating regularly (more than once a week), that it was laid out in a consumer friendly way, that there was a certain quality behind it then I wouldn't hesitate to give it a high score.

Today, I definitely choose to wait - to make a review - at a new/till now an unknown site with low/small content normally needs more focus....
And some of those so called top scores - you got to handle with care when it comes to entirely new sites.

Remember you have an obligation towards your fellow PUs...

So: No, review them later .....OR be patience for at least a couple of weeks to get to know the site before a review.

Considering about 250 quality videos are on the site, I would have no complaints. That is a lot, when you take into account that this is a niche that is catered to by very few sites. While I have not joined this site, by its reputation and your positive comments, I am sure I would give it a higher score.

What about old sites with only a few scenes? If i join any site for a month, old or new, and i can download and see everything in a couple of hours for me it would never be worth a top score no matter how much i like it or how good the quality is. Value for money is important these days so if i pay for a month's subscription i like enough content to keep me entertained for the month. If the site is still updating i would say adjust your score at a later date as the content grows.

I reviewed the site a while back. At that time it did not have a link to write to the webmaster. I found his email through PU and he never addressed my problem. A video had a glitch in it and broke at an interesting point. I downloaded it five times with no better results. He never wrote back.

I also thought that the videos would be better with more stretching and a bit more of the explicit.

I have given kink sites that are new some high scores as well. Knowing their reputation, I expect that with more updates the quality will remain high. As a rule, you cannot predict that with other new sites. Some update rarely and may never keep up the intial quality, so I checked NO.

I picked yes because I've joined plenty of sites with a lot of content but which I only downloaded a small portion of that content and I've joined others that are newer and have significantly less content but where i downloaded it all. In the end. The only important thing is that the review has to justify the score.

I checked Jurassic Cock and was surprised to see that they've only added two scenes since I was a member there some five or six months ago. To make matters worse, most of the other sites (including my other favourite, Massage Creep) don't give update information so I can't tell if it's worth joining again.

I've given small, new sites a good score based on the scenes posted and reasonable expectations that the site will continue to grow. I've done that with some Kink sites when they were new and didn't feel bad about giving a high score because I know and trust Kink, and i made it clear in my review that the site was still small.

"No," with no further conditions. It would probably be helpful to define "new," "few," and "top," though I'd venture that they mean 3 or fewer months old, 10 scenes or fewer, and 90 or above. That's my interpretation, anyway.

I'm not picking on Rusty J, mind you. The character limitation on the poll question would keep one from getting too specific.

I joined GiveMeTeens for 10 bucks a couple of months ago with a special offer from the PU newsletter, and was initially unimpressed. I�m writing now to take it all back.
As an old hand with erotica, print media and porn theaters in the seventies, rented vids in the eighties and nineties and the Internet in the new century, I can say now, this is an incredible site. It is a wonderland of high def vids and the still images that accompany the HD vids are mind-boggling. GMT is a lot better than I originally thought but the bonus content (apparently all the same network) has everything I could possibly want and more. I recently began scrolling the artist�s names and have found old favorites I hadn�t remembered in years. There are a plenitude of vids from the eighties and nineties that while not as technically advanced as more current offerings, they are a wondrous stroll down the lane of remembrance.
For those who like still images, don�t go here unless you have months of free time. The pictures are huge and well photographed.
(the images accompanying the older lower definition vids are mostly screen caps and not worth a click, but the images that come with the HD vids will change your life) If you need to go to work daily or eat regularly, you may want to consider not visiting this site.
There is everything from artsy to crass, anal to tranny, bukkake to parodies. Pay particular attention to Peter North and Rocco Siffreddi.

The few times I�ve had technical issues, the tech support had been amazing, with emails abundant and informative. I rate this site in the mid nineties (I�ve never given higher than 80 to anyone)

The one downside, ZIP files are not on the menu. It requires you to actually look at the images and download individually rather than downloading Zips and forgetting them. (I still have unzipped TeenDream and SimonScan files from 5 years ago)

It's rare that I make an impulse membership purchase. I normally read everything the TBP and PU has on a site first so I can avoid surprises.

I do apologize if you feel this is an advertisement. I can assure you I have not solicited these reviews at all. I had actually forgotten about having my site on here until I received an email stating it had been reviewed.

I do however appreciate the kind words from the members of the site who have reviewed it. We are still growing, and not where I want the site to be yet. I do try to get atypical models for the site, ones who are pleasant to be around. It doesn't always work out that way, but it is an ongoing process. My biggest complaint about the site is that we do not have models who are on 24/7. And I wish we had more models willing to do videos etc, for the site, but I do not ask them to do anything they aren't comfortable with.

That being said, RAGE to your hearts content. :)

Considering I'm pretty much joining the same sites over and over again, I'm usually just waiting for the content to build up. That and timing things so a new join will overlap a change in month due to my monthly bandwidth cap.

In the rare event that I am considering a new site, it's usually something I look at for a while, from a few days to a few weeks. I'll read the reviews here and on TBP, maybe reviews from other sites, then go for it.

Yes I think you're right RustyJ, the trial looks like nothing more than a trick to dupe unsuspecting people into an overpriced subscription, a jaw dropping 60 dollars for those of us affected by regional pricing here. That line i copied from the sign up page could easily be overlooked as its hidden right at the bottom of the page in small print...if you don't scroll down you wouldn't see it.

Other for me, if I see a site that interests me i generally just add it to my list of bookmarked sites I might get around to joining one day. With around 100 sites bookmarked and a join rate of usually 1-2 sites a month some sites will sit in that list for years and never get joined, some may even close down before i get around to joining as happened recently with the Marketa 4 You site...that one really pissed me off. If i come across a reduced price special offer for a site on my wish list though that might bump it up to the top of the list and trigger an impulse buy.

I almost hate to defend these people, but could the trouble be that you signed up through an affiliate site and not directly at Brazzer's itself? I went to the SexPro site and saw that it says you can watch Brazzer's movies. Brazzer's has a long history of being creative in their ability to separate people from their money and I don't trust 'em. Because of that, I wouldn't even begin the signup procedure to see what the terms are, but the word 'watch' makes me think that that's the catch - you can watch but you can't download.

I created an account the day after and yes, it's a limited trial.

I tried creating an account directly with sexproadventures but apparently it was never "activated" as brazzers support can't "see" it in the system... they took the money though.

Oh, and the first account? Even though I canceled it through the biller, brazzers support claim it's still active (gotta rake in that sweet rebilling money from suckers!)

I consider it a few days... at the end of which I consider it a few days more... then I don't consider it for awhile... until I'm reminded of it again ... when I usually start the whole process all over again.
Hence a marked number of fewer subscriptions than the norm.... which naturally effects my number of reviews ... thereafter and ultimately resulting in (as one will notice) my lower trust and score ratings.
This case arises because I sub at a couple ongoing reduced pay sites offering me a diversity of bits and pieces of what I could easily find elsewhere, anyway... sans any pirating, of course.

I'm fine now, just the treatment took so much out of me, I'll never work again. For anyone who is interested in what I look like now there's a video of me on Youtube if you search under my name it should come up. Also shows what I can do now. The Astral-Blue site was the stuff I shot during the 80s and 90s while in England. This has a lot of old favorites. The Best Porn has a review of the site.
As for the way I shot. I loved my job and the women I shot. I hope some of that came through, still was tough getting the same contact from the Czech Girls I got with the English ones.
