I thought the same way, after a week of exploring the site I was so glad I did. Its worth a look. I did a three month because there's a lot of ertoica and I travel a lot. They update weekly. Kink.com delivers as promised in FuckingMachines. I've only been a member for 2 weeks and I quickly realized there is a large content of really good fetish material. Sorry for the lack of detail Cybertoad. I guess I assumed that a lot of people would be familiar with Kink stuff, and that probably just isn't the case. To answer your questions:

Content details: The Eastern European scenes start with a scantily clothed woman in some sort of bondage and often with a ball gag. She is paraded around in public and made to do humiliating things like drink from a dog bowl or let people touch her. The scenes then shift to sex in some outdoor and public location. The U.S. scenes are more like a gangbang scene with bondage and Kink props used. There are several scenes in each shoot using a different bondage or prop setup. In the U.S. scenes the 'public' element is a little strained in that it is shot inside for obvious reasons, but the trade off is that the models are more widely known.

The humiliation level in both the European and U.S scenes is fairly high.

Video quality: decent. I'm not a techie so I don't know what is objectively good. The bitrate is 2140kbps and the dimensions are 960x540.

Other stuff: There are no dowmload limits that I'm aware of on any Kink site. If there was one, I'd have surely run into it on their other sites. There is no DRM either.

As for the thread where people are complaining about it being too tame, I can understand that but I don't really agree. It's a subjective thing. I read the thread and many people seem to want to see specific things, especially more humiliation. I like the balance they have now, though if they added more humiliation I wouldn't complain.

Another complaint that I do agree with is that the shoots in the U.S are a lot like other Kink stuff, but just with a gangbang thrown in. It looks a lot like Training of O or Sex and Submission.

If there is a valid complaint in the thread it might be that the site seems to advertise more humiliation and less sex, when what you get is less humiliation and more sex. I don't necessarily agree with that since I think having a woman tied up and fucked outside while people watch is pretty humiliating. But I won't complain if they ramp it up.

I also note on the forum link that you posted that there is only one thread that has anything negative, so for the most part people seem satisfied.

I agree 100% with you that having to use "Kink Dollars" can hide the price of the videos you want to buy. I'm no expert on using them as I only did it once. I bought the advance video for Public Disgrace because i really wanted to see it.

To answer your question though, I can't really say. The problem is that to get the PD video I needed a certain number of Kink dollars and since they only appear to be available in certain values, I had to buy more than I needed. So I actually had to pay more for the video than Kink was actually charging because I don't think I'll be able to use the remaining Kink dollars without buying more. (This is just a guess, but I think I had to buy 30 Kink dollars for $30US and then used maybe 22 Kink dollars for the scene.)

For me, I think that if you only want one or two scenes you are probably better off getting a one-month membership.

This site has only 9 videos at the moment. Despite this, kink charges $29.95 per month. With updates once a week this site has potential, but is just too small to justify the price at this time. The content looks good and the videos are advertised as HD with downloadable and streaming options but only for clips. Individual scenes can be purchased as an option, but the price is not clear without buying "kinks" first.

I bought the first PD episode prior to the site becoming active. I've had several memberships to Kink.com sites and have always been impressed with their quality. If you like porn with a harder edge (but without the Max Hardcore kind of abuse), Kink is for you.

One thing that made me uncomfortable about Public Disgrace is that being in public means interaction with people who may not want to see what is going on. Kink is a very responsible company, so I'm sure they take some precautions. It also appears that these scene are all shot in Europe (Eastern Europe). I presume that's because shooting this kind of material in the U.S. would have the morality police tossing them in jail for the rest of their lives.

Public Disgrace is now active and the site looks up to Kink standards again. I''ve just taken out a membership and will post a full review soon.

As mentioned, there are several factors that go into the score. I have asked the tech guy to look at it as to why the score isn't the same on both pages. My guess is, one page is using the new system and one is still using the old weighting of scores. But that's a guess. He'll be able to tell if it's a glitch and fix whatever is needed.

This is something that perhaps you should talk to Khan about. The one review was a year old and thus does not count as much toward the final score. You are correct though, the feedback history page is not showing everything.

Here it is:

The old review is a year old, thus it counts as 25%
The newer review counts as 100% still

Newer review score times 4 plus the older review score and divide all by 5 since there is five parts to the score. Much like calculating a students GPA

95*4+90=470
470/5=94 ---the displayed score

I hope this helps a bit. They do need a line on the feedback page to count the number of older reviews.

Do you know if Syd is still filming scenes? She was a beast as far as the wrestling goes. I noticed (in TGP galleries) that there is one time that she lost and that's a video I'd really like to see. A few weeks ago PU staff sent use a newsletter. The newsletter explained that as a review gets older it becomes less of an impact on the scoring of a site. So if a review was a year old it would not be weighted the same as a review that was three days old.

The point is that an old review may still hold some merit, but the newer review would be much more trustworthy (assuming all else equal) than the older one simply because the older one can not account for any changes over the last year or whatever.

This change was made at the same time as they began to allow us to update reviews. Which is nice because many of us like to revisit sites every six months or whatever. Now we can keep everything a little more up to date.

It was a good catch, so this proves that you are at least half paying attention. You can read about these changes on the bottom of the homepage in the news section. I believe it is the most current newsletter.

PU says that rating for TheTrainingOfO is 94, but there are only 2 reviews, one is 95, and another is 90, so I expect it to be 92.5. Ok, I know that there are ratings and so on, so I went to "Feedback History" and found that's it's 92.5 there. So it's 94 on site page, and 92.5 in "Feedback History". Not that it really matters much, but which one is correct?

It has been too long since I was a member to write a full review. However I still have many videos that I downloaded. The wrestling is just ok, the videos not clear enough to be really hot. Update to my 2007 Review

I reviewed this site in August 2007 and have since rejoined. All of the positives that I noted are still applicable. As for the negatives, there really aren't any. If you like this this kind of kink, then I've yet to find a better site than this. Everything from Kink.com is high quality.

This time I did have some membership issues - they were my own making. I had several different usernames from past memberships and current memberships at other Kink sites. It caused a few problems. Their support staff was quick to respond and fix the problem, and they even recognized the problem before I did and simplified everything under one username. Excellent service!

One new addition that I quite like is the use of physical exercise as a means of training. Seeing a naked girl do jumping jacks, squats, etc. is really quite sexy within the context of the site. Probably the best example of this is Madison Young.

The bottom line remains unchanged: if BDSM stuff is to your liking, then this is an excellent site and an even better value than it was last year because of the increased content.

I think Kink.com is putting the "I did this intense stuff consentually and enjoyed it" disclaimers as a way of protecting themselves legally. It would at least be more difficult for a jury to find them guilty of brutality or whatever charges some DA wanted to bring against them if they saw that, in the end, the performers were hugging and smiling.

Well, you're not the only one my friend. I had to deal with some seriously childish arguments from the webmaster of 1 by Day after I gave some constructive criticism that he couldn't handle (even accused me of being a plant from another porn site, because of course no one could possibly genuinely dislike his site) - but happily I got LOTS of support from fellow PUs (even those that disagreed with my points) and he showed himself up for the petty little man he was.

Yeah, that was a pretty ugly argument that I finally just gave up on. I don't know what was going on with asmith at that time, he seems to be a good member these days. I don't know if it was one of those moments where he tried to make himself better known by refuting an established member or what. Either way, his view never changed towards my reviews, even after I wrote the follow-up and gave the points back since the DL limit was lifted on Ultimate Surrender.

I do notice that our comments are read on here by sites. Less than a month after my review of US, they lifted the DL limit and less than a week after my comment on Viv Thomas's video site not letting Teen Dreams members download his content as bonus content, but only letting them stream it, he has gone back and started letting the Teen Dreams members download his movies, though they are only 750 bitrate, compared to 2000 on his site.

Just been reading through your unpleasant argument with asmith12 - let me add my support to your side! You gave your own opinion, based on verifiable facts, and so don't deserve to be 'mistrusted' based on that!

I found asmith's arguments ludicrous - comparing unlimited downloading to 'filling up a plate with food, then having to leave it to be thrown away'. Jeez, talk about tenuous. Downloads aren't perishables! They are there to be saved and accessed at ones leisure!

Keep up the good and honest reviews my friend. :)

Hey now, better give us some more information to support that 100 score. I can tell you from experience that those do not go unnoticed around here. Please tell us more about why you think it deserves such a score. What kind of videos do they have, how many, picture sizes, navigation advantages, pricing, anything that makes it stand out from similar sites. By the way, you are misspelling "site"...not that I am one to judge someone on spelling. :)

I perfectly agree with you.
Some time ago I contacted KINK.com in order to offer something like this. My problem was that I liked one or another movie but paying for a membership was a bit too pricy. This is the worst solution they could have come up with. Ridiculous pricing and only old movies.
It's like a time travel into the ancient past of internet.

crazy...I remember seeing this type of payment model 10 years ago on sites like suze randall, and for a while ALS used to do this. Madness. Actually...this is the cyberspace equivalent of Self harming/Suicide
