Might be Updating Again

I was on the Kink website recently and was surprised to see that two new Water Bondage scenes had been posted in late January. The site has been dormant for close to two years. There is also a mention of the scenes on the Behind Kink page but the information is a bit vague as to whether they're just 'testing the waters,' as the article is titled or whether the site will now be updating regularly. Water Bondage has always been one of my favourite sites so I hope this means they're back in business. If they're only testing the waters, I doubt they'll get a lot of interest since you have to pay for a full membership to get two new scenes.

I'll be emailing Kink to see if this the site will be updating more and if anyone's interested I can post an update here.

I agree completely that Sex and Submission is really different from Fucking Machines in that it si so much easier for the directors to keep S+S fresh and interesting. The Sasha Grey scene and the Kat scene are still among my all-time favourite porn scenes.

Like you, I look for email discounts, but I think the site (and all Kink sites) are worth the $30 per month. The production values are much higher than most other sites.

I deleted every video that had a "before interview" because it ruined the fantasy. The scene is new because most Kink sites usually shoot a few weeks ahead of the release date and then decide the order in which they will update their sites. The only reason I know that is because I started to pay attention to their shooting calendar a while back. I think that's an amazing tool because i can find out which star is shooting for which site and that gives me an idea of when her scene should get released. I think it's also a great marketing tool for them because it gets guys like me excited for an upcoming scene.

I don't know if you are aware of this but Princess Donna is the person responsible for bound gangbang. She probably directed many of the prior scenes. This one was filmed late last year. I agree that Kink.com is women friendly and that everything is based on mutual co-operation and satisfaction. I subscribed to "Facial Abuse" at one time and couldn't watch most of the videos because they were too misogynistic.

There are people who love a certain roughness to their sex and here, at Kink, they are able to act out their dominant or submissive fantasies. The logic of having the model do a pre-interview is amazing because no one can claim that she was forced to do something that she didn't know prior to the shoot. We all know that Kink has a huge list of questions that all the models must fill out and sign prior to the shoot but someone can always claim that she hadn't filled out that questionaire but it's hard to say that about a video.

It sometimes interesting to hear what a performer says prior to the shoot and what she says afterwards. The type of porn that Kink does is rather different than what most performers are used to so not every performer knows all that they'll experience during the shoot.
Kink loves to push a performers boundaries and I think nothing makes them happier than to get a performer to orgasm as much as she can.

I agree with you. Most times I skip those. My guess is that the reason for these interviews is 75% law and 25% because Kink does try to be a better network than most. They seem really woman-friendly and want to promote that. I know the average woman would think I was insane for saying that, but it really is woman-friendly. These site are all about showing women with certain fetishes getting off on those fetishes. I do like some of the post-scene interviews where the model sits there and talks about what she liked about the scene. That could suffice for compliance I suspect.

Other BDSM sites don't use the interview as much, if at all. Society SM comes to mind.

I'm a big fan of many Kink.com sites and this is one of my favourites. I have to weigh in on the other side of the fence on the public stuff though. Great review. I'm a big fan of this site too, and many others on the Kink network. Like you, I always cringe when I see their membership fees, but then I remember that this is innovative and very well done. Their overhead costs are also likely quite a bit higher than a studio that uses a couch in a living room. For me, I think while the actual cost is higher than normal, it still provides excellent value for the money spent.

Also, make sure to sign up for their email newsletter because they frequently give site discounts to subscribers. Also, the last time I was there when you had a membership at one site you got a discount on others so that helps too.

This is one site I have yet to join but I have been thinkinhg about for some time, so great to read your review. I am surprised that the matches go on so long and seem professional, I thought it was be more staged and the wrestling more token as a lead-in to the sex.

Yeah they must be doing something right and although it would still in my eyes be profitable to have the one network, its obvious they are not needing to do that to survive and it would need a whole new system developing to have as a network so easier for them to stick at what they are doing, they've been around for years and with it being niche content they are the leaders of what they do aren't they.

The only site that seems to have less tattooed girls is fucking machines but as much as I wanted to like the site. Those machines make a lot of noise and that overhadows whatever thrill I got from hearing the girls have an orgams.

I'd like the deal more if it was 2 sites for 1 month for $29.99. I'm a fussy porn users and I love certain kink scenes if the women are real cuties and tatoo free or not heavily tattooed. So there is only a selected few scenes I'd be interested in, some of the women there are too tattooed for my tastes.

You are correct that on paper they would make more money but the reality is that if they made each scene only one kink then every dick head content thief would buy those scenes and post them on free sites and there goes their extra money. By making them so expensive then they don't get as many thieves.

It's possible that you saw a different screen then me but the sites that I saw at 14$ are really 29.95 for 2 month memberships. The 14$ is not a lie so much as a little bit of misinformation. The only way you can get that price is if you join for a year. Mind you 29.95$ for 2 months is an amzing deal for any of their sites.

Yeah you are probably right with the high price factor to just get you to join but they would make more money if it was like £19.99 for 20 kinks but each scene was one kink.

Maybe its a new pricing scheme now though or I'm not seeing it right but when I go to sites it lists them all as $14 a month and water bondage as $30, is that not right, has it come down in price.

I've never really understood the pricing for this site. The only thing that I can see is that they offer it because people might want to stream some scenes rather than join the site. Maybe the reason why they charge such a high price for buying a scene is that they'd prefer the people buy a membership. There are plenty of deals where you get a 2 month membership for 29.95$. That's less than 15$ a month and that's hard to beat for such great content.

Some very odd pricing on this site.

It says its 24.44 kinks for 1 scene some are less, not sure why they are not all the same price and its $19.99 for 20 kinks so it is more expensive for 1 scene than joining for $14 a month which is what it says most of their sites are.

Or have I got something wrong here, seems very odd, why would anyone pay $30 odd dollars for 1 scene when for half that they can download the whole of 1 site.

I'd guess that your thoughts about why the gay site is more tame is correct. People tend to be a bit more homophobic about male homosexuality so the people at Kink need to be more discrete.

Was curious to read a review of yours, and the 99 rating and the site attracted me. You do a good job of justifying the high score in a well-written review. I love humiliation in BDSM and I have looked at this site in the past as I've joined the gay versions of kink.com sites.

Even I found the previews hot so they must be doing something right! The gay version, Bound in Public, is hot but somehow just a little too polished and not quite as daring or sleazy feeling - I guess to be fair they're all filmed in the US and the gay element makes it even riskier.

Great review of a great site.

I think you're correct that the price is 29.95$ instead of 39.95$. I wish I could confirm but I'm a current member and I paid the special price of 19.95$ becaue I already had another membership.
