All sets since sept 15th are brand new and exclusive as usual. There's no old content being posted.

We did show some older sets this summer in new never-before-seen high-resolution format while Denys was away on shoots but now that Denys is back, its all new sets as usual. Don't miss out.

Id have to disagree with this as well, as it doesnt say straight hardcore anywhere on the site. So if looking for another niche would be fair to guage the site on what it says it offers. I'm a huge fanb too still a member. ( lol funny they just released a BG scene lol)

I'm with Rizzo here.
This site has top-ratings with most PUs (too) for good reasons:
Updates twice a day (included remastering of older content - and that's ok - to some degree).
High quality videos/photosets.
Mostly great, great models.

The site is foremost a solo-girl place - and that's not hard to see in the preview - so, yes, if your mostly into hc, you could choose Hands On Hardcore instead. Still this site has the motherload in DDF-productions - and it may have gone a little downwards lately with too much repeating of older stuff.
But it's still a site which have earned a place at now number 3 at TBP's top. I still agree with that TBP-score....

You are correct though its definitely not a hardcore site, so anyone looking for boy/girl hardcore will probably not be a big fan of the site.

Well if they "decided" to scale back on their content, then they need to scale back on their pricing as well. If Mercedes decided to cut back on leather and AC, you'd expect them to adjust their price accordingly.

The value test is not necessarily how good something is, its how good it is compared to what you can get spending your money elsewhere. Dollar for dollar, this site is simply not worth the price, because you can get more and better content elsewhere for less money.

There was some discussion at PU some time last year with the webmaster Bela at DDF Productions about how this and the other sites would change. One idea was that 1byday would be less hardcore. There's still their site HandsOnHardcore, though I've never been a member myself.

LOL Ok I'm Cybertoad and I am a perv, and I was one of those pervs that liked the site, the solo's are pretty hard core more then I see elsewhere, but if you are refferring to 1 on 1 , I agree there isnt too much boy-girl, but lots of girl girl and solo. I actually prefer that. VideoBox is good site ypu may like and has allot of HardCore and not so much solo. I didnt like that about Videobox but sounds like this would be right what you are looking for. There was so much hardcore there I downloaded from videobox I had to delete some.

I can't speak for 1byDay since I've only joined once. As far as I've seen there have not been any new scenes at Hands on Hardcore. They don't look recycled, because I think those were older ones that somehow disapeared to reapear in lovely HD quality. I don't think there is anything wrong in doing that, but I wonder how many new members they would get if they admited to the fact.

Yeah with the economy taking a hit and the crazy ammount of pirate tube sites out there, I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of recycled content as updates. I wonder if the major sites are seeing any real drop in sales or not?

But as for 1 By Day, one of my favorites online by far. Deny's is a great photographer.

I haven't gone in and counted them all to check, but hasn't it "only" been the last three months or so that they've had virtually no new HD content updates?
Except for a couple of the Summer months, I've been a member for most of the year (rejoined again in August), and I rarely found myself particularly disappointed. But granted, for some strange reason - given the popularity of the site - I only came across it for the first time back in December, so all the "reloaded" content was pretty much new to me as well, even though it is of course rather easy to tell when you're you're looking at a six year old video with one of your favourite models :).

Regarding Hands on Hardcore, my last membership to that site expired a few months ago, but up until that point at least I didn't notice any recycled content at all. But I obviously won't rule out I've missed something.

I'm going to keep my fingers cross, because I used to join at least once a year Hands on Hardcore and was very disapointed when this year. All the updates are actually re-issued scenes. If they charged 10-15$ then I might not be as dispointed, but 30$.

I can confirm that the last two weeks (since September 15) they've been back to their original schedule of one brand new HD update in the morning and a "reloaded" update in the evening.
So for now at least it looks like they are back on track.

Some of the most prominent models featured in the new HD content are probably Zafira, Cherry Jul, Sandra Shine (I really much preferred her as a brunette), Blue Angel and Zuzana Z.

As long as it's new to you then it's all good. I did take a quick look and some scenes do appear new. I'm just not going to spend 30$ for just a few scenes. I'm affraid that this studio is going under because I don't think Hands on Hardcore has had a new scene in months

Definitely. It was kinda sticker shock for me when I was thinking about rejoining a few months ago. Now I am thinking I will hold off a bit longer to let the collection grow. But I am always afraid of the price going up even farther or the site splitting and having to pay for two or more to get the same amount of content.

I have been meaning to rejoin these guys, but the price has jumped a bit since I was last there. When I ended my subscription with them about a year ago they where just beginning the higher videos. They looked great even then.

The older videos are in the 448x256 @1 Mbit range that you listed.

if they are recycling the videos, then they will also give the videos new names, because i had no videos with the same name twice. if it`s so, it is a great mess, but beeing honest, i didn`t see an old video only "pimped" up, but as i said so, when you are reagarding such a mass of videos, everything seems to be new oder everything seems to be the same :)

last but not least, there is no recycling post at the videos right now. that isn`t really fair if they do recycle the videos, but regardless of that they have still an great ammount of fine videos.

They stopped saying when they were recycling material when they stopped posting new material. When only some of the material being posted was recycled, they would have a sticker on that material saying "Back in 2003,..." Now that all of their posts are recycled, they don't have stickers on any of them. This has been noted in previous reviews by knowledgeable 1-by-day members, including Drooler. I understand that they are presenting those older sets at higher resolution, but it's still a huge con for one of the most expensive sites around to be presenting virtually all recycled material.

To me, it approaches the level of larceny shown by the people that do EveAngel.com and MyaDiamond.com where they just keep cutting content from the beginning of the site and presenting it as new over and over again.

i didn`t really see "reloded" stuff from the site an i have at least 162 gb downloaded at all. some videos from former times (2005 e.g.) but maybe it`s so much stuff that i have lost control of it :)

therfore i have to say, even if there should be "reloded" stuff in there, it`s not making the site bad.

Two months of nothing but recycled material sounds like a huge con to me - especially when they don't even mention it. I guess they spent a lot of money when they went to two full pic & vid sets a day and this is their way to sit on their laurels and rake the money in, since they aren't paying models or all of the other costs of doing new shoots, which can be extraordinary.

At this price I can't justify paying them to just recycle their old stuff. But that's just me.

As has been pointed out, there's been a lot of "reloaded" stuff on the site. Actually, aside from the Sunday casting posts and the "jokes," everything on the site has been "reloaded" since early July.

I don't really mind that much, as it's better than it was before. Some sets that came out originally in under 1000px are now 2000px for the photo size. And the videos are improved as well.

But some people do object to the way 1byday has gone so completely "reloaded" for this long. And I think they have a good point. A 50-50 mix would be more satisfying.
