There are sets in which there is stripping, and there are sets in which the birthday suit is featured from 001.jpg. I'd say there is a fair amount of galleries with stripping in them. It certainly is not true that there is no stripping.

Over the years I have been a member of a lot of porn sites, many of which have had small issues which I email the webmasters about. Just in the last 6 months I have emailed maybe 6 webmasters informing them about links being broken, zips being corrupt, content being unavailable for viewing or similar such issues. Until today, not only was nothing ever fixed but I also never got replies to my emails. Great customer service, subscriptions cancelled.

Well today I email the Femjoy webmaster with a list of 15 or so picture sets that were unavailable for viewing. Less than half an hour later I get a email back informing me that the issue had been resolved and the content would be available shortly. Now everything is working fine.

I admit I am a pretty jaded and cynical porn user, most of my reviews or comments are quick to point out the bad and tear to pieces the terrible. Its nice to be able to write something nice and positive once and while. So here goes, this is how a porn site should be run, great work fellas.

I would agree models can look better with make up.Some look better natural. So many variables. One critcism of Femjoy's beauties is there is not enough close ups of genitals whether dry or moist.Many have cunts clean shaven & some have bushy pussies. Either way I'm sure many would finger their vaginas & even climax. The site should maintain the same high standard but close ups of labias, some floppy or stiff make it exciting. It wouldn't bother me so much if the time between "announce-posting" the updates and the actual, internal posting of them didn't run for over an hour at times.

I could just wait until later in the day to check, of course, but that doesn't excuse the poor practice. I like FemJoy a lot, but it's been a bit of a sore point.

The guideline is "update from the inside out." Then you'll never have links up to stuff that isn't there, even for a second. I think it makes sense.

FemJoy continues to post updates before they're ready. You think the new ones for the day are there, then you go in and instead they've got a default gallery of Corinna showing.

Would you leave home without getting dressed? Would you say, "Dinner time!" before the meal is ready?

I just think it's common sense to post for what IS posted (ready), and not for what is not.

The video quality at all is good but the storystelling is mostly weak.

Good looking girls can never eat like normals or ending up making a mess. Another video I saw was a girl climbing on the roof, fully naked.
I think you know what I try to explain, the girls are beautiful but uncertain as long as they get instructed by someone behind the camera. Mechanic smiles and abrupted movements are routine in the videos.

Nevertheless, you should check the videos by yourself to build your own opinion. They seem to have a couple of full videos for promotional purposes online.

There is not much to complain about the quality of x-art, it's just the overall look for the most sites that sicken me.

mc-nudes.com is a good advice and a site I already know. They are one of the few that doesn't seem to care about the mainstream developments.

watch4beauty.com is too artistic for me and breath-takers too expensive for an update rate of 2 per week.

Just an FYI, you may have noticed, x-art is comprised of work done up by some of the same contributors to femjoy, so probably not the best site to site transition if you're seeking for a new look. I'd suggest checking out watch4beauty.com , or mc-nudes.com

Like on the flip side, I reviewed breath-takers.com and even though the updates come slowly, I felt the quality and passion in the girls is there, then the replies from others were along the lines of "yeah, but not enough updates". Some people want quality, others just want the massive quantity.

To the other questions above, their videos are dedicated scenes, unlike what Met-Art puts out. They are usually 5 minutes in length with a song playing throughout. They certainly lean more art than porn. Not saying it as a bad thing, they are good videos, just don't go in to it expecting something else.

I went back as you suggested and found the update schedule. They had a total of 4 new videos in January, not quite the 2 a week they promised in their preview site. But the previews they offer for the four appear to be quite well done.

But my other question is, what is your opinion about the quality of the videos? With about 300 videos, I am ready to sign up for a month at $30.00 to drain off the good stuff but before I do I'd like your opinion. Does your "passionless" observation apply also to the videos?

The preview site says they add 2 videos a week. Is that accurate?

As a video guy, I shy away from photo sites that have a few videos because they are usually just videos of photo shoots (MetArt, for example).

But the preview site of FEMJOY has some excellent previews of videos that make me want to check it out and drain off their video content, but before I do I'd like your opinion of the video content (quantity and quality).

Yes, you're right (about your opinion) : it has merit even though I don't share it at all, and exactly for the reasons you're expressing ;)

I think the less make-up there is the better it is. I usually avoid Met-Art because of the generic quality it brings : they're on quantity side instead of the quality one.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that M-A is bad, but it really has nothing special.

That's what I like about Femjoy, that "Girl Next Door" feeling you're speaking about.
And more specifically, the artistic side they bring rather than the erotic one.

If I come back here, that's because they know how to picture nude girls without using artificial elements like make-up, toys...
And watching at the videos, I can clearly see that they enjoy being nude in front of the camera.

I joined about the same time as you, for the 2-for-1 pricing of $29.95 for 60 days. I have not been rebilled yet, but the offer specified that the renewal price was $29.95 for every 60 days.

Some PU members will not agree with my opinion on the models at Femjoy needing more makeup, because it's a matter of individual taste. They view Femjoy as a special, almost rare site that features a very natural look of very little make-up, little photoshopping. But I personally don't mind some make-up or photoshopping, as long as it's not overdone. Until I got a comment about that, I always thought I was the one who wanted minimal makeup and photoshopping, but no matter where you stand, there are always people further out on both sides of any issue than you are. Lol.

Since I was burned (badly) by Danni.com 3 years ago, I have a procedure that I follow religiously when I sign up for any new site.

1. I create a Word document where I copy the URLs of the preview site and of the sign up page.

2. I use Print Screen to copy the confirmation page with the subscription number and all other details. If the confirmation page permits (they usually do) I also copy and paste it to the Word document.

3. I open a new window leaving the confirmation page open, and try to log on independently. If I succeed, then I save the Word document and close the confirmation window. If not, I find the "contact us" link and will immediately call the 800 number of CCBill or of the site to confirm that my subscription is active.

4. If I'm unsuccessful, my next call is to my credit card issuer to have them cancel...or reverse the charge.

5. I then go to PU and post a comment. Recently I had an issue with PornstarXS.com accessing their trial. I received no replies at all from their contact us contacts but I did get a response from the webmaster.

To be fair, almost every site I've joined since being screwed by Danni.com has worked perfectly and where they haven't, the 800 number has worked to get things on track.

I don't have anything against natural. But makeup can bring out a girl's beauty. If you compare the photosets of the models below, I think the photosets of those models are, in general, better looking at met-art than at femjoy.

Photoshop is used more at met-art. As long as it's not overdone, it can add.

But that's a matter of personal taste. Just as two people looking at a list of models will probably not rank them all in the same descending order of beauty/attractiveness.

Hopefully, you recognize that I'm kidding - well, to a certain extent anyway.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion but the refreshing thing about Femjoy is the unsullied beauty of their models - they look great and their photography is very high quality and there aren't very many sites around where gorgeous women are shown without TOO MUCH make-up or too much photo-shopping, so Femjoy is filling a niche that is underserved. They would be fools to reverse course and stop filling that niche. In my opinion.

This is a matter of personal taste or personal opinion. But:

I've been a member of femjoy about a month now. The site has some great-looking models, that you will see at other teen glamour sites. And the photography is high quality by top erotic photographers. But my gripe is that the models basically need more makeup to bring out their attractiveness. I'm not big on models (or people in regular life) wearing excessive makeup. But with a video or photoshoot, unless you use a minimum of makeup, the model will normally appear less attractive. Met-art usually gets it close to right, and the models usually appear to be attractive to very attractive. Femjoy uses less makeup on their models. The same models, the same photographer, and the photoset will be better looking at met-art than at femjoy. That is partly because of the makeup difference; also met-art allows more variety of costumes.

femjoy is almost entirely nude, very little use of clothing/costume, and any clothing used at femjoy is very simple. Femjoy is going for a very simple, natural style of photography with their models, and it detracts from the presentation of the models. I realize appreciation of a model's beauty is a personal taste, but if you see the models of Victoria's secret, or world-class supermodels photographed without makeup, and in old, cheap un-colorful clothes, it takes away a huge amount of the glamour and allure of the models.

There are a huge number of lovely models at femjoy, but the photosets don't bring out the eroticism of the models. The site is trying to present lovely girls as "the girl next door", with a very natural, simple style, but the style reduces the attractiveness of the models in the photosets.

Even if you are using the "girl next door" theme, which was probably first made popular with Playboy back in the 1950s and 1960s, for nude photography, you still want the model and photos to be as attractive as possible, with an erotic appeal. You don't want to take a good-to-great-looking girl, and produce a bunch of photographs that just look blah and unappealing. Met-art, in general, takes good-looking girls and makes good-to-great-looking photos. Femjoy takes the same girls, and makes photos that are less good-looking. That's a shame.

I see from the comments and reviews that other PU members don't necessarily agree with my opinion on the need for more makeup at femjoy. But I think my opinion has merit, and frankly, I'm surprised some PU member hasn't already expressed a similar opinion.
