What I mean by "downloads speeds are dependant where you download from" is by country you are downloading from. For example, I subscribed to the site from Canada, which gave me really fast speeds. Then I went on vacation to asia with my notebook and I didnt get the same speeds there when downloading from the same site. Hope this clears things up.

Right now they have exactly 98 uncensored videos. I can't count the censored videos.The site also has a video clips section, but forget it, the quality is as low as it gets for those. This is basically a full video site.

Let me give you this scenario: If the western porn scene had these censorship laws, Silvia Saint for example, would always have the mosaic. Not only that, but it would be written into her contract that she couldn't be in a video without mosaic. Not only that, but she wouldn't want to be in a video without a mosaic. Different cultures.

A lot of these JAV stars are former actresses and high paid models. One was a TV star! This is just me, but I'm more interested in the Japanese porn culture, rather than the pure porn. The uncensored stuff is underground with actresses who weren't good enough to be JAV stars. A few movies had the mosaic removed in Tawain, but I think it's an expensive process.

I'll give you a pointer: If you join, go to the left hand menu on the main page, and click "Exclusive Programs". Then scroll down a bit and find the video "Super Body Models". it stars @You and 3 others. it's a good start, it's almost 4 hours! and has a thin mosaic.

I'm a member there Denner, it's one of the few sites that I let recur. At first the navigation is confusing if you are not familiar with the Japanese actresses. You don't know who are the "stars', etc, like you do with the sites you're used to. So what you have to do is start watching some videos, and discovering who are the biggies. Another idea is to browse through the phot sets. Not all of the girls there do AV porn, but those that do will have a link to their video page. So basically, it's like starting all over in porn again and learning who's who. If you like it, one month won't be enough. And if youi get hooked, try actionjav.com for a whole lot more.

For me it's not about genital obsession, it is about distraction and feeling that something is "f****ng censored". As far as I've heard, it is a crime NOT to produce, but to PUBLISH it in Japan (otherwise nobody would be able to shoot any porn or even erotic there as genitals aren't covered with mosaic when the actual thing happens :-) ).
If it is really the case, then it is perfectly legal to sell some uncensored footage to US company (maybe with a restriction "not to show/sell to Japanese users") which will be able to sell uncensored thing to the rest of the world. I've personally bought several uncensored Japanese DVDs in US (or was it in UK? I don't remember) shops (not Internet shops, but "real" adult shops), and I don't think real adult shops will deal with anything illegal when there are tons of perfectly legal things out there.

On the other hand, there is pretty decent amount of Japanese-style anime out there without mosaic; to do it they just need to sell non-mosaic originals to non-Japanese company which isn't bound by Japanese publishing laws (another option is to produce Japanese-style anime outside of Japan). It is the law in Japan that genitals can not be explicitly shown in video and photography. The Japanese use a mosaic, which is a light blurring of these areas. That is the law in Japan. Therefore, it can not be counted as a negative any more than saying no underage material in western porn is a negative. The Japanese sites always explain this.

Lightning Fast Download Speed

This site has the fastest D/L speed I have ever experienced bar none. And the video files are all around 1GB or more, but I'm downloading them in minutes. They do have a daily 8GB D/L limit, but I can see why---with the speed it would be easy to get 20GB-30GB daily. I would run out of HD space quickly! They have a ton of material though. Review later. BTW TBP, the price is $2 lower than you indicate. I don't know why you do not have a review of this, it's a first class site.
