I've often wondered if that could happen. Hasn't to me but I believe it's just a matter of time.

That's why I use one credit card for all online porn sites and had the limit set at $80 so that any attempt to blow a lot of charges through would be stopped by the credit limit.

I use my bank's bill pay facility to pay for each charge when it appears so that I won't hit my limit with legitimate charges. (My monthly budget is $60.)

rip off

I joined under the 24 hour temp. access for $1.00. I cancelled the same day (4 hours later). I received an email from support@spanetworks.com confirming that my acess was cancelled and that I wouldn't be charged more than $1. For 2 months, I was charged the monthly rate. I emailed them twice, no call and no results.

Careful of Trial

I did the trial join on this site in January '08 and found out that the trial was very limited in terms of what you could download (contrary to the TBP pronouncement) and the material was not exclusive. I immediately cancelled and left. Be careful of this one.

I actually added this full trial last night myself (while testing some new things in our back-end system) and went to verify your facts before it expired. Here's what I found:

1. I was able to customize the scene selection just fine. At first I was confused because it wouldn't drag and drop. But if you double click the thumb where u want to begin and then the thumb where u want to end, it mostly worked. I'm still confused how it functions a little, but in the end I could download the scene in DVD mpeg resolution.

2. I could download full vids at every resolution they offerred.

3. The site downloaded for me at 500k, which was pretty fast. Not blazing fast from my connection, but definitely good. Browsing the site was ok, not fast, not slow.

I saw nothing on the site that appeared to be limited. There were no place where it tried to upsell the trial to a full membership either. Please let me know if I'm mistaken, and how you see it on your end.

Yeah, I've noticed that TBP just checks the site advertisement but doesn't look at the actual content. They include the disclaimer that the site "advertises as exclusive." I understand that they can't check every movie on every site, but I wish that such obvious content (like the Nina Hartley videos) is marked as not exclusive.

Do you plan to review this site?

Problems with files.

I use windows media player.
I downloaded a bunch of scenes at the highest resolution.
But they wouldn't play. It just says "Problem Opening File" for all of them - or some such BS.

It's a great-looking, substantial website, but as far as I can tell, it just doesn't work right. Don't put down your $30 without buying the trial to see if it works on your PC.

I know I've ranted about this before and I probably will again, but there is nothing about this site that is amateur! A quick look at the tour page reveals several pornstars included in the updates. Gia Paloma, Kasey Kox, and Aurora Snow, while beautiful girls, have been around the block several times.

I understand that much of the initial information on a site like this comes from the producers of the site, but I had identified pros within 5 seconds of hitting the tour page. As someone who looks hard for amateur content, this kind of thing just adds to the numerous search results that become very difficult to narrow down.

If anything can be done to make sure this stuff is correctly marked as pornstar content, it would really help those of us looking for true amateurs.

According to TBP this site is identical to DVD store - which I had a number of issues with hence the score on my review. I had a major problem downloading, despite having a 20 meg broadband connection, and the site kept freezing or locking me out - have this issues been resolved yet?

This site has been corrected and now you can download all content without any restrinction with your free trial access. Also, the membership cost if you signup a whole month from the beginning is now 24,95 instead of 39,95.

Your free trial or monthly membership includes access to watch and download over 2,600 DVDs or 13,000 movies in MPEG format at 640x480 (closest to DVD Quality), iPod format, WMV formats as well without any limits.

We´re also working on speed issue. It should be faster now and you can try to use a download manager with several connections open at the same time. We´re still working on this, and between next weeks users will be able to download at least at over 1,000 kbps without problems.

Appreciate the "heads up" warning. I hate sites that are ambiguous about the price (use dollar signs, "bucks", but charge in euros). My charge card doesn't just charge the extra value of the euro, but applies a surcharge for "conversion." Always a lot more cost than advertised, and I've been stung more than once.

Rip-Off

This the most expensive rip off I've yet encountered. No where is it mentioned that $9.00 is nothing more then a limited TRIAL. True, you can download all the videos but only in " medium quality". This download takes forever and the quality is like watching a movie behind a glass shower door. The first thing encountered is an " invitation" to upgrade for nothing more then five year old well circulated DVD'S. You've been warned!

Dont waste your money

I just wasted 1 dollar for a trial membership that only allowed me to view a small portion of the content. So then I upgraded to a full membership (should be a fool membership)and wasted 49 dollars. The download speed is so slow I could watch all of the paint in the world dry and still not have a complete file downloaded. This site would be the best one I had ever seen if they fixed the DL speed. Also, don�t buy a membership to their other sites, they have the same problems. When I contacted the site support about the download speed they tried to tell me that the site downloads at 300k/s +. I highly recommend that the main reviewers down grade their scores for this site.

Good point, Turismo, but I'll tell you there are a lot of more expensive web-sites out there that have just as poor service. You don't necessarily get always get what you pay for. Customer service is too often a very low priority with many site developers.

Frustrated subscriber

For all I know this is a wonderful site, worthy of a high score. Unfortunately because I could not download any movies, either to an error message - you are not allowed to download off this port - or even better "page cannot be found".
My first email got a speedy reply, assuming I am a moron it advised me to right click and use save as - I replied that I had tried this to no avail. I got another reply saying my username/password had been checked and was fine, but then got no more replies.
This is the kicker, when you have a problem and it is quickly resolved you are inclined to look even more favourably on a site, but in this case I went from frustrated to downright angry.
I guess you get what you pay for so my recommendation would have to be to avoid this site at all costs if you want to download any content

Site still has problems

The "temporary" problems are still continuing - although download speeds have improved, all too often the site freezes or crashes entirely - I cant see myself extending my subscription

I subscribed to the 9buck network thru 9Buck Butts. Beware, you
do get monthly access, but to download anything you have to upgrade
your membership to 24.99. So I cancelled instead. I think the
site is very misleading. Also, their content doesn't appear to be
exclusive. I've seen it elsewhere.
