Thanks for adding your comments. This review plus your clear interest in customer satisfaction and the discount all prompted me to sign up. It's been less than a day but, in general, I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.

I will take advantage of your offer to be contacted privately with my comments and observations as I get more familiar with the site but the one thing mentioned in the original review that could use some work is the identification of the talent, both in the videos and especially in the scenes.

The site has an excellent variety of material that I'm very happy to have access to in a digital format to the point that I can start weeding out some of my old VHS tapes.

Yes unfortunately all our videos are watermarked with our website names, even into members downloads! BUT... the good news is that you can download as many movies as you want and keep them forever!!!!

In my email to them I did not mention TBP. I pretty much never do mention TBP in correspondences with websites. I mentioned them here because they have the same price displayed as the sign up page did and it was on the same day that TBP posted that site.

You are correct about the length of the trial. I knew it was two days when going into this, and it does not change anything here. I did not check on the duration of the trial before responding since that is not the part in question.

I sent them one email with everything in it, including quotes of the pricing. Also a request for a refund of the difference. I have no issues with paying the $14.95, since that is what I had expected to pay anyway.

Hopefully they are decent about it, I am still sorting out my last credit card issue!

I only mentioned leaving out PU from your email because normally it's better to keep things simple. Less confusion that way, easier to understand.

I agree that you should have gotten the $14.95 rate when you were rebilled for 30 days, because that's the rate the signup page shows.

If you don't get that rate, instead are charged $24.95, send a second email explaining you sent a first request, and this is a second request for a refund since you are being overcharged for your subscription. And send the details of why you are being overcharged in the second email.

If you don't get satisfaction, go to your credit card company, and they should credit you with the $10 difference.

One quibble: I see a "$4.95 Two Day Trial Membership". This is shown both at PU and at the nakedcloset site signup page. Unless you specifically remember that your trial membership was for 3 days, it was more likely for 2 days.

I mention TBP because that is where I first seen the price, and it was on their update for that day.

I signed up for a 3 day trial to see if I liked it or if they had anything good. TBP showed that the site would rebill at $14.95 and the site said the same thing on the sign up page. TBP is not to blame because I seen the same thing they did.

The deal here worked just like any other trial. After a few days access it recurs at what ever the recur amount should be. Since the sign up page stated that the 30 membership for $24.95 or the trial for $4.95 would recur at $14.95 I thought it seemed like a decent deal.

TBP got their information from the same place I did, the sign up page. The issue is that is not what they charge. They have another set for rules listed in the customer service page. Of course a person usually only goes to this page AFTER having a problem, not before.

The point is that they advertise one price up front, and they charge based off a price that is displayed somewhere other than the sign up page.

As for me, my trial rebilled at the higher amount. Not the amount shown on the sign up page. So in effect I was billed $10 more than I had expected for the additional 30 days.

Could you explain in more detail exactly what happened, in terms of your membership?

What length membership did you first join for?
2-day trial
1 month non-recurring
monthly, recurring

The $24.95 charge you are talking about, is for what, exactly:
A 30 day membership, the first one
An additional 30 day membership
A different membership period

It's easy to get angry about extra charges, but I think you will be better off if you make clear, in your email to support or billing, the details of why you believe you were overcharged.

If you don't get satisfaction from support or billing, you can have your credit card company reverse the excess charge.

But it really helps if you explain simply to whoever you are talking to the details of what went wrong.

But I personally agree 100% that you should be entitled to the prices at the page you originally used to sign up.

Edit: A side note: Unless the PU page directly applies to the problem, you're better off leaving out any mention of PU in your complaint. That just adds confusing and un-needed details to the problem.

TBP has this site listed as recurring at $14.95 and the site's sign up page stated the following:

"Trial and Monthly memberships recur billing at $14.95 every 30 days until canceled."

This sounded great, until I looked at my credit card statement only to find I was billed $24.95. $10 extra!!!

Upon further digging around, I found this at the bottom of the customer service page:

"*Trial and Monthly memberships recur billing every 30 days at $24.95 until canceled."

So it seems they have two prices? A low price listed right on the sign up page, and what seems to be the real price listed listed in the customer service page. Assuming for a moment that this is an honest typo on the page it is a pretty big one! Many of us get annoyed by the fact that sites do not get girls' names right, but a typo in the billing is an absolute NO NO!

I have emailed customer support about this, of course, I will let you guys know how it turns out. But for now, everyone needs to know that the price is not what it seems.

Not Exclusive

This is a nice site but it is not exclusive by any means. Some of this content I have seen several years ago on Twistys. You might find stuff you have not seen yet, but if you have been around you will definitely recognize a good deal of the picture sets.

Also worth mentioning is that I can attest that the free trial works, but there are cross sells. The videos seem to be stream only.

Good review, I'm shocked about the price raise though. The site's name is what it is for the price it used to cost $8.99, and even worse, if you look in their "Reviews of 899" and I quote from one of the reviews that they list right there for all to see, "Who couldn't afford $8.99 a month." Not for sure if they even realize that is still there on their site. Oh and look at #1 in their FAQ, the question is, "What do I get for $8.99" The last line of their answer is, "Download our movies and keep them forever all for $8.99"

It is currently in the process of getting approval from the credit card processors to be able to accept credit cards. They are also Beta Testing the site for any bugs or clitches. The people who own this site and Pornstarclassics are top notch people and they want to make sure the site is ready to go before they launch it live to the public.

Thanks for the comment dude! I was wondering if I was one of the only "classic" folks on here (otherwise referred to as an "old fogie")! I think you always have a soft spot for the porn you grew up with and the 80s is definitely that for me. My first pin up love was Julia Hayes, but she didn't do any real porn unfortunately. A Blast From The Past!

I "came of age" into porn during the 1980s and watched countless flicks from the 70s and 80s with stars like Tori Welles, Blondi Bee, Erica Boyer, and Ginger Lynn. There were a number of studios that produced the videos I had in my collection, but there was probably none that was so well represented as Caballero Films.

So, as you might imagine I was very excited to see that all these vids were being collected on one site! It's done by the same folks at Pornstar Classics and the first question that comes to mind is whether these vids are also available there, but regardless the site carries a number of flicks from my past that I wondered if I'd ever see again.

I figure I'll probably do a review soon, but I wanted to draw attention to the site for any classic lovers like me and of course if anyone has already joined I want to hear details. On the surface at least, this one looks like a keeper.

I've noticed that you have taken the time to review most all the site in our network, and i want to thank you!
I would have replied sooner but i've been working on the changes promised to you for PornstarClassics.com - The changes to the site should be ready by Friday May 18th at the latest ( maybe sooner )
Bigger Thumbs in the scene selection and we spent most of our day yesterday in an warehouse going through old albums of photo content to add into the classic site. ( should be available inside the members area within a couple of weeks... it needs to be digitized )
Also, we are going to begin updating now at least twice a week with new movies!

As for your review of Domymom.com - i agree with everything you said. That site is on my to do list and i will be jumping on a redesign and restructure of that quite soon ( hopefully by the end of the month ). We recently purchased a ton of high quality photo content and i will be placing it within the site as the time of redesign. I will also look into the movies and see if we can get more of the age range you liked as i'm sure you are not the only one with that request!!

As for your comments about the site needing some adjustments, i have to say that i completely agree with you. It's good to get feedback from our members so that we know where the site needs improvements.
I am going to work on getting the thumbnails size increased and also lighten up the photos so that it is easier to view.

I have sent a request in to our tech team to have them look into the search function for the site, my apologies for the empty pages and it returning with incorrect search results.

In an earlier review of the Pornstar Classics site i replied to the member letting them know that we will be updating the site on a more frequent basis very soon. Hopefully this will be in place within the next month.

So to recap, i will enlarge the thumbs, fix the search function and increase the updates to the site.
