When I can't see everything that a site has to offer it usually makes me suspicious. What do they have to hide? And for me, it is often finding a few stars or scenes that I've been looking for that will tip the balance to me joining. I really hate it when a site (especially a large one) has a couple of generic tour pages and then drops you at a join page. I suspect sites like Videobox wouldn't be so successful if they had a tour page that told a prosepctive member that they had thousands of DVDs and then expect you to join on that alone. What harm can full access to see a site do?

Good news on the updating pricing. I agree that a better preview would be a good idea, but at the discounted price you really can't go wrong. I figured all I really wanted was access to one site so the rest woudl be gravy.

Network Pricing

The page here and at TBP doesn't mention any discount so I'm not sure if there is one offered if you join through the main network page. I joined through My Stepdaughter Ate My Ass and got a $9.99 price that seems to give me full network access. If I learn otherwise later I'll add a comment. But it seems that the way to join is through one of the sites that offers the discount.

A good selection of ladies, young and mature. A vast archive with past favorites reappearing in ample amounts. Young lovely teens are plentiful and seem to enjoy their work.
But it is largely all for naught.
The network of sites is mostly non navigable. A click on an image, or the use of the back button, can send you to a far corner of the network where you can see obese matures and gangbanged trannies. It will then require five to ten clicks to return to what you were viewing if you can find it at all. The sites move veeerrrrry slowly and downloads are like watching snow melt. The fastest download speed I could attain was 143 Kbps (with a 1.4Mbps modem). Most downloads time out with 80 to 90% complete. The network does not allow resuming downloads so if it is interrupted, it is lost. Download managers are useless and here�s a new one for me. The urls often will change mid-stream, terminating the download.
Files cannot be queued for later download because the url changes within minutes.
Several communications with the support staff have gone un-answered.
Zip files are very difficult to find and when you do find one you find low quality (45 Kb) vid caps. The few photo images are also very low resolution (50 to 80 Kb)
Most of the videos and photosets are years old but are listed as having being added within the last couple of months. Talent that I�ve seen for years, are all now 18 years old again.
In this age of free internet porn, they seem to go out of their way to alienate paying clients
What do I want for 10 bucks?

First of all, I went to the massive access site and the price listed was 9.99 and not 8.99. No big deal. However, I signed up and was then presented with a receipt which indicated that $1.10 charge for two days and then an automatic billing of 14.95 per month thereafter. I called epoch.com and all they did was tell me there was no 9.99 option listed (though their billing screen had said it) and cancelled the charge. So I am out a grand total of $1.10. The dollar plus change is not a problem but the fraudulent representation is.

-Women...decent at best. Some have nice tight body, though some got meat. Avg but not really rough looking neck up. Only gone through handful though.

-Updates once weekly...supposedly. I say that because only joined about a day ago, yesterday looked like it updated every Wednesday, now all the videos showing Thursdays.

-Only 35 videos up for site itself. Some other networked sites whose exclusivity is questionable, though haven't really checked out much.

Don't give up on Porn.com completely just yet, audrina. If you look at my comments in Download Pass (clone) and Porn.com then you'll see that they've always yo-yoed. During one subscription I will praise them to high heaven because I just got finished downloading at 1.7 MB/s then next time around I'm lucky to get dial-up speeds. I would predict that during your subscription you will have days with very good speeds if that's any consolation. Have you tried downloading with Firefox DownThemAll? It's a great tool and speeds up downloads considerably.

I very seldom go to the classics section of any of the DVD sites because the quality in those days was horrible. Dark, blurry, colors bleed etc., so I won't hold Porn.com responsible for that but I do hold them responsible for incomplete scenes and some of the glitches they appear to go through every so often. As I said, for some reason there are months when they are quite good, especially for the price we pay and I got some material (German Porn) I couldn't get anywhere else but then, all of a sudden they appear to take a technical dive. Could never figure it out. What aggravates me at the moment is the sudden increase in Spam I've experienced since I re-subscribed plus the appearance of pop-unders for a dating service every time I go to their site. :-(
