Pros:
- large collection of pics (over 1300 sets by my count) and vids (500+)
- regular photo and video updates
- great looking babes
- familiar faces
- good mixture of solo, lesbian/multi girl and boy/girl, 2+1, 2+2 hardcore (some pissing too)
- choice of bitrates (some choices labelled as HD)
- zipped photosets
- nice range of indoor and outdoor locations
- nice clothing, underwear, hose
- search by model and type
- ratings for sets, models
Cons:
- older photosets of indifferent picture quality
- no choice of photo sizes
- no choice of video type (all wmv)
- a smattering of subtitled videos
- some of the videos poorly lit
- search facility is terrible
- zero model interaction
- no model info (though a lot of familiar faces)
Bottom Line:
It's some time since I visited a Viv Thomas site. I recall that on my previous visit there was only streaming video available, but I might be mistaken.
Anyway, Viv Thomas is a site bursting with content and quality. Viv's been in the game a long time and knows how to shoot a beauty in a variety of poses and scenes. Earlier hardcore scenes are bit poorly staged, but later stuff is very good.
The videos are generally nicely composed, all the girls give out; no tentative amateurs here. That said, the more recent content is getting a bit stale and there's an impression that Viv or the webmaster is going through the motions.
All of the videos are culled from DVD releases which slightly detracts from exclusivity. But, few complaints about the content.
The search facility is minimal - chose from video or photo; solo, girl/girl, hardcore; or by model. It could be a lot better. Why do so many sites fall down on this point? It isn't that difficult so long as content is well tagged. ('Only' sites, IMHO, do this very well.)
Interaction is non-existent. You can rate content, but there's no indication how many users actually vote: probably very few.
Updates were regular though there's not a huge amount of content being added each week - about 1/2 vids and 7 photo sets. And, as pointed out above, the newer content is getting stale.
I had no technical issues. Photos are an okay size though I'm sure most users would prefer something crisper than 250 dpi. Videos come as Windows Media only. Streaming is available. Download speeds were fine, which for me means slow given the craptastulic speeds available here.
I spent a couple of months as a member. That's a compliment in its own right.
Overall, a lot of positives; very good content a few minor grumbles.
I'm sticking to a 90, but there's question mark about future content. That said, there is enough on the site right now to merit a month's investment.

-Excellent download speeds (1.5 MB/sec)
-Download managers work
-Photosets downloadable in zips
-Video quality pretty good: 640x480, 2084 kbps
-Good variety of content
-Good camerawork on photography and videos
-Photo quality is acceptable, but not the best - newer stuff is 1280, older stuff worse
Cons:
-Orginization could use some improvement. Not really sure what the purpose of listing the DVDs is, as all the scenes I saw on the DVDs were listed under the video section of that model anyways. A search function would be nice.
-I found some of the sets to be a bit heavy on the makeup, which is not really my thing - I prefer the more natural look
-Could improve photo and video quality
-No bonus sites
-A little pricy
Bottom Line:
A pretty good site, definitely better than most. Certainly worth joining, even if like me, you aren't a fan of overly madeup girls as there are still plenty of good scenes.
The content is mostly solo and lesbian, in the video section there are:
50 Boy/Girl scenes
210 Solo scenes
440 Girl/Girl scenes
(The sort function doesn't work great, so these totals might be a bit off)
Although the boy/girl scenes they have are pretty good, if your main search is for boy/girl I might look elsewhere.
As Exotics has said many times, and I agree, this site has some of the best lesbian content on the net.
In summary, pretty much a top tier site that most people would probably find worth joining. If they improved video quality and picture quality a bit this site would probably be even higher on my list. If you are a fan of hot euro models, and especially lesbian content, you won't be disappointed here.

I was a member of Viv Thomas Video some years ago (there's an archived review down there, if you want to read it), and I was considering re-joining, as a part of this "nostalgic spree" that has gotten into me lately. But when I saw the price, I decided to stay out of it. 29.95€ is just too much for a single site, even for one of the best directors of lesbian porn in the world (IMHO). Pictures just don't do it for me any more, and as for the videos, if I am patient enough, I know that I will find them as movie releases on Hotmovies.com. It's true that I won't be able to download them, but I will be able to access them whenever I want, and for much, much less...
Also, I find that Viv Thomas is getting more and more into hardcore b/g porn, an area in which he is not as original, or doesn't stand out as much, as in lesbian porn. Probably, in the long run, this is a good strategy for him, because he attracts different kinds of viewers, but for there is also the risk of losing what made him special: his sensual, erotic and passionate g/g scenes (with a touch of foot fetishism added once in a while).
In short: if the 29.95€ price is maintained, I doubt that I will ever join this site again, even if I love Viv's work.
While Viv's pictures are still some of my favorites, he has switched his pricing over to Euros on his video site, which adds about $10 to the already fairly high price of $29.95. His top quality option on newer videos is still only 2000 bitrate, 640 high end resolution. I'm not for sure what Viv was thinking when he decided to charge even more for barely average quality videos. He also has taken away to ability to download his videos on Teen Dreams, which they were a lower quality at 750 bitrate, but now all he is allowing is streaming from Teen Dreams, and even worse, the streams don't always work.
I will be lowering my score of his site again. Which makes the second score drop in the last 6 months. I just didn't expect someone who has been in the porn business as long as Viv has to decide to start charging more without at least improving the quality.
