- A resounding yes! The photos have been added to the video site and are zipped.
- Viv Thomas, to me, is probably one of the top 3 producers/photographers of Euro porn.
- Right at 900 video scenes
- Videos are good, not great, 640 high end, 2000+ bitrate, looks good on my monitor. There is talk of HD videos coming soon.
- Pictures are still a bit smallish, 1280 max, but are zipped and there is talk of 1600-2000 high end in the future.
- Excellent download speeds
- Navigation works perfectly, even with the added photo sets. I use the model search, click model, page opens has videos here, pictures there, click the one you want and there you go.
- Photo sets date back to 2004.
- Updates have 14 updates this month, today is the 15th, so either a video or photo set each day. |

- Things are going good when I start nitpicking on the first con, would like to see the HD videos and higher resolution photos happen.
- Some of the photo sets are small in amount of photos, some sets are as small as 45 photos.
- Photo sets are non-exclusive, but not all of them, there are some exclusives and though non-exclusive, they were shot by Viv, he has just leased them out to others. A few of the videos are now non-exclusive, Videobox has recently added several of Viv's DVDs. Videos also can be gotten from Teen Dreams as bonus videos, but are of lesser quality, sub-1000 bitrates. |

One of my older external drives crashed last year and I lost 85 GB of Viv videos because of it. Luckily for me, I had separated my favorite models videos from his site onto another newer drive, but still I had planned to return. I don't know when the zipped photo sets were added, but that was a huge surprise to me.
The catch and where a bit of confusion comes in, the photo updates here are not the same as the photo updates on Viv's photo site, BUT the archives are very similar. At this point though, the pictures are icing on the cake.
The videos, we talk a lot about how hardcore porn has lost something. Usually the word "eroticism" comes up, and I do believe Viv does eroticism better than any producer in the world.
Some of the things we see in current hardcore porn, men spitting on the women, slapping, and the almost always facial. You will see facials in Viv's videos, but no more often than you will see cumshot to the boobs, to the back/butt, to the stomach. A lot of the b/g scenes end in whatever position they are in, meaning you don't have to sit through a guy standing up and beating himself off to cum on the girl's face. If they are in doggy, the guy pulls out and cums on her back or butt.
There is no smacking, no spitting.
Viv's greatest strength in my opinion is his ability to get the best out of the female models. One can see it now with the model Cindy Hope, Cindy is a very cute model, but she has never shown that much that would lift her to superstar status. Her newest video for Viv, has lifted her to superstar status. She always seemed to be going through the motions, now she looks to be enjoying herself. I could even go back to Eve Angel's career before Viv, she was a cute average model. Viv had her in a few b/g scenes, then put her with other girls only or solo and she won an AVN award for best lesbian scene.
I will keep every video I download from this site on its own WD Passport hard drive and won't delete them. That is how good the videos here are.

At this point, with all of the same ol', same ol', sites out there, I can recommend this site as highly as any site on the internet. Oh and there is a nice mix of b/g, g/g and solo. The g/g scenes are probably the most believable on the internet. Highly recommended. |

- Viv Thomas and his team turn out some of the hottest and most intimate lesbian porn.
- Jo, Eve Angel, Sophie Moone, Sandra Shine, Vera, Lisa, Nella and many others. All the sexiest and sweetest Eastern European girl/girl performers are here in numerous movies.
- Plenty of solo masturbation and hardcore guy/girl content in addition to the lesbian movies.
- All but the very latest Viv Thomas DVD releases can be downloaded from this site.
- Decent video quality.
- The site interface got a major overhaul recently.
- Despite the name of the site there's also more than 1,800 photosets here.
- Fairly reasonable update schedule (five photosets and two video scenes a week). |

- The new site design looks great, but better search/sorting features would be much appreciated (at this point main niche or model archive are the best, and almost only, entry points).
- With so many other great sites moving to HD or at least higher bitrates for DVD resolution, at least a small improvement would be appreciated here.
- Photo resolution could use a boost as well.
- The aspect ratio is screwed up a bit on the (still relatively few) videos shot in 16:9 widescreen. They are a bit "squashed" horizontally, something the original DVDs obviously don't suffer from (I own several of them).
- Some people might consider the price a bit high, as I believe everybody is charged in Euro. |

I believe I first became aware of Viv Thomas' work a few years ago when I watched one of the countless reruns of his hit 2003-05 trilogy Pink Velvet in a censored version on the Playboy Channel.
Aside from being a wonderful and exquisitely intimate contrast to the bland, faked, pornstar girl/girl porn you see all too often, these movies also happened to feature several of my favourite Hungarian babes, most notably Jo and Eve Angel - two girls I've since, and before, enjoyed on a number of other sites.
Nowhere have they delivered better performances than in Viv's movies though - and the same goes for many of the other gorgeous ladies who have worked for him.
He (or in recent years, if I've understood it correctly, actually more often his team as I believe he's sort of semi-retired) simply seems to be able to bring the absolute best out of these girls, usually resulting in some incredibly hot lesbian scenes. And there's actually some dialogue or a story line thrown into the mix on a fairly regular basis, if you're into that sort of thing (I rather enjoy a bit of dialogue from my favourite babes now and then).
I've bought twelve of Viv's DVDs over the last few months - mainly as collector's items, but also for the higher video quality - but there are more than 130 in total waiting for you at Viv Thomas Video.
Roughly 30% of that content is hardcore guy/girl porn rather than lesbian though (and another 20% is solo masturbation which is also well worth watching), and frankly I don't really feel qualified to write much about that part of the site, as I've really only sampled small parts of it.
In short, while I love lesbian porn of the very intimate kind, I generally prefer my b/g porn to be decidedly straight forward and as unemotional as possible - and preferably with plenty of anal and DP - and that's not really Viv's style most of the time.
So to sum up, in my personal opinion Viv shoots the best lesbian porn - better than early Sapphic Erotica, better than the glamour style girl/girl porn at Club Sandy (which I also happen to mostly enjoy) - and you can download all but his latest five movies or so at Viv Thomas Video, including the uncensored Pink Velvet trilogy and the first three chapters (they are adding the third one scene by scene at the moment) in the new popular Unfaithful trilogy with Nella and Lisa (Cameron Cruz) in the lead roles.
And despite my minor complaint about video quality, it's still so decent that I often watch the videos on my 40" HDTV without thinking it looks horrible. In fact for some of the older movies, the quality really isn't that much worse than the DVD source material. |
