*Newbie reviews and ratings don't count toward a site's overall score/rank until the user reaches the Rookie status level (5 points). This rule is needed to help prevent fake (or heavily biased) profiles and reviews.
As of today Twistys has reduced it's update schedule from what was once 3 photo sets and 2 videos a day only 6 months ago to only 1 photo set and 1 video a day. The reason? A major decline in memberships (income) due to a major decline in quality of new content over the last 3 months. Now that's all they can afford.
Twistys still has a lot of great historical content, but new content is rapidly becoming mostly 2nd rate stuff you'd find on free sites AND now there's less of it. They also censor most negative comments. The new content manager is on Twitter and acts like he doesn't care about the site and it shows. Of course the VP doesn't give him much funding to work with anymore either.
The MindGeeks (Twistys parent company) VP decided to screw over the runner up of the Treat of the Year contest and make the 5th place finisher runner up because they want to completely change Twistys into just another blah boy/girl site.
They've already shrunk updates from 3 photo sets and 2 videos a day down to 2 and 1 and the quality seems to be dropping off. They still advertise 3 and 2 updates, so they are engaging in illegal false advertising and have done so for a couple months now.
If you're thinking of joining Twistys for hot models in glamor style solo and girl/girl shoots, well that may only be historical content going forward. The slimeball VP who is now in charge is determined to change the site into generic boy/girl site so don't expect a lot of new traditional Twistys content going forward. These slimeballs also run Brazzers and other sites and have ZERO respect for customers, models and everyone who works for them.

Well it would appear that Mindgeek has decided to make some (dodgy) moves with Twistys.
This all started with the leaking of the TOTY winners followed by the revelation that the runner up was not going on the TOTY trip (replaced by one of the other contestants) as in previous years (and the further developments that this had been mandated by parent company management).
This all caused an uproar on the forums which then resulted in the link to the forums being taken away from the members site. Since this has happened, the manager of the site who took over in the running from Shap after it sold has left (fired?).
This is all addition to the various site malarky that has occured recently:
- the drop in updates (yet they still advertise 3 galleries and 2 videos a day)
- the removal of advance search
- the replacement of their entire photo retouching team
There are rumours that they will no longer be shooting solo-only models. Shap has even popped up on the forums wondering what the hell is going on...
I joined here on a whim, due to the very good TBP price. It's nothing revolutionary, but it's a solid site with lots of content - my review to follow. But for such a big, high-profile site, the members area is a little disappointing. Page loads are slow and there are frequent errors when loading pages (sometimes have to load 2-3 times to get a page to work).
As noted in a recent review, the advanced search - which is essential for a site of this size - is AWOL, so just paging through the models is the best way to browse. And although you can add photographers as favourites, there doesn't seem to be a way to click through and see all their material.
Granted it's a bit churlish to complain for the price! But a site like this should be more on top of this stuff...
I generally research before I join a site, so I know what I'm getting into. So I knew before joining Twistys that I was going to a site that is primarily a photo and solo site with some hardcore videos thrown in as well. And for the most part that's been true. But I must admit that I was really pleasantly surprised when I started looking at their older video content and started finding hardcore videos that have to be from around the start of the last decade (technically, these scenes were probably made earlier than the earliest updates to the site). It has honestly been the best thing about my membership so far, since I'm not really much of a picture guy.
Question about the $9.95 Twisty offer in the PornUsers newsletter.
I got a reply from a PU member stating the Twistys $9.95 offer was very limited.
Would someone from PU check to see if the Twisty offer has very limited downloading, or else has full access to the site for 30 days?

Luiz (0) Unfortunately I subscribed for this offer. On the newsletter it was not clear at all that this was a trial membership. Actually, there was nothing about full or trial membership. After subscribing - and I never subscribe to trial memberships -, I found out that despite the membership being a 30 day trial, I only have access to 3 scenes and 3 photosets for the whole month! Clarifying, everyday the same 3 scenes and 3 photosets are the only thing that I have access to. I paid $9.95 for 3 videos and 3 photosets.
I always trusted PornUsers offers and have subscribed to some of them, but now, the first thing that I did, after cancelling the subscription to Twistys, was unsubscribing to PornUsers newsletter. It's a shame that PU took part on this theft.

I sincerely doubt that PU/TBP knew this offer was so limited.
If you can't get a refund on your own, I believe Khan (or someone else at PU) will work with you to settle this matter: either a refund, or full access to Twistys for one month.
PU/TBP is not part of Twistys. But PU/TBP has stepped in to help their members in the past. And PU/TBP carries a lot more weight than an individual.
Remember all the fine Twistys support and webmaster-input/answers here at PU in th "old days"
Joined again recently (have not been here for at lest a year) and wanted to cancel rebill - but that sure wasn't easy.
Over and over again I got the answer "username and password are invalid" - though it's exactly the same I log in fine with.
Mailed them with a promise of answer within 24 hours - no answer.
Then tried live support billing chat - they asked for email, I send it, but after ten minutes with no answer I got cut off.
After a couple of time again, I finally succeeded to get an answer about my email, that they could not locate even if I got two membership confirmations by that mail.
Ok, then they found it and cancel my rebill - but all that trouble is quite annoying.....
