I was gonna join this site but on the join up page my anti-virus software went off like crazy, blocked 4 viruses! 2 trojan horses, a worm, and a spyware app. Don't think I'll be joining this site, and that's a shame 'cause they have really good content. No wonder PU dropped them.
Am I the only one having trouble with the video downloads from this site? They STICK. If I try to jump ahead I get a 5 to 10 second pause until the video resumes. I've tried MOV, MPG and WMV in several different players and they all stick. Am I missing a codec? This site used to be a great, great site, but now the videos are fewer in number and the site is a real headache to use.
I, too, have had major problems with this site blocking me after loyally letting them take my money. Fact is, I truly love this site but over my being a subscriber off and on for over a total of three years, now I constantly get blocked, send an inquiry and maybe, maybe two weeks later get a reply to change my password. I have sent three different e-mails in the past two weeks asking what it will take to fix these problems, and have not heard anything again this time. I was blocked one time and accused of sharing my password with someone in Turkey (couldn't point it out to you on a map) I also saw in passing one time some stated problems with the 'sbcglobal.net/ATT' thing. I have inquired about that THREE times with no answer. Of course it easy to state that I have never shared passwords, but truth is, I never have and do not see any advantage of doing so. The last time I joined and subsequently blocked, I tried to minimize my time on the site (browse less than 20 mins or so)and it only took 9 days before I was blocked. I sent four inquiries in and heard nothing and finally contacted CCBill, and they just offered a refund. Again, I love this site and would give anything to enjoy it hassle free, but somehow it always ends up to seemingly being my fault. I see where Simon replies here and wants to clear his name when someone disparages the site...well, I'm here to clear my name and say that I have NEVER done anything that I was accused of doing to be blocked from this site. I just wish that when a problem arises that someone at Simonscans would actually work with someone to figure why this problem arises, instead of being accused of something that I did not EVER do.
I keep reading in lots of areas that MANY other subscribers to this site have the same problem I do; gets blocked, doesn't know why, e-mails Customer Service and when and if you receive a reply, it's to block you and accuse you of something you haven't done. Simon you seem to have a popular site, and have you ever thought that hackers work on your end to get our info?
So Simon, how do you treat someone who truly would love to be a subscriber to your site, pay you gladly each month, and enjoy the site hassle free? Over the time length of your site I have paid well over a thousand bucks and would stay a member forever, if we would quit having constant blocking/customer service problems.
I'll gladly tell people how great the content of the site is, and how good the site really is, but when constant Customer Service problems appear, it all goes South.
Restore my faith Simon, what can we do to get to the hassle free point?
I joined this site on Sat. May 8, 2010 using ccbill payment system at $19.95. I received confirmation email from ccbill and I started to navigate the site. But The (( http://www.simonscans.com )) site administrator keep changing my password every 6 hours without any permission or request from me as customer. I sent email to Simonscans site asked them to stop changing the password. But instead of supporting me they take my money, they never reply to my emails and they blocked my IP address so I cannot even enter the site. I put and write this comment here to WARNING you OR as message informing of danger to subscribing to this site. NOW the status is : I cannot enter the site where, the site administrator blocked my IP address because I asked them to stop changing my password ( which is my right)and at the same time I cannot get my moneu back. BE CARFULL TO SUBSCRIBE TO THIS SITE. This site is not honest
Beware of Billing Scams / Non-Existent Communication
My girlfriend wanted to try this site, and would liked to have signed up using CCBill.
On the site's FAQ page at - http://www.simonscans.com/pages/faqs/ - it clearly states there are three main systems for joining, and CCBill is one of them, but on the sign-up form itself CCBill is never given as an option. She E-mailed to ask how to join using CCBill but never received a reply.
Last week she spotted a site called SimonsFans.com - http://www.simonsfans.com/sf.php - one of those typical gateway sites full of free taster images. On there was a link to join using CCBill, so she filled in all her details and CCBill processed the payment, but she was never provided with a username or password.
The E-mail from CCBill reads:
"Thank you for your subscription to Simonscans.
Your subscription number is ******************* [obfuscated here]
Please include your subscription number in all correspondence.
Your username is
Your password is"
So she wrote to CCBill and asked how to gain access to the site. Here's their reply:
"The website does not use our access managment system. As such we can not test the access to the site. We have e-mailed the website on your behalf regarding the issue. If you do not recieve any correspondence from the website please contact us back. Please allow 48 hours before following up with us regarding this issue."
After five days, there had still not been any response from SimonScans, so she contacted CCBill and they refunded her money.
Good for CCBill, a very poor show from SimonScans.
The only development since is that all the links on the SimonsFans website still point to a CCBill URL, but when clicked redirect back to SimonScans.com. This is more likely to be down to action from CCBill than SimonScans given their terrible customer support in this case, and the dubious nature of the SimonsFans site.
I would appreciate if a current member let me know how this site is doing when it comes to the tease factor. Do the models start fully clothed or do they start in the nude. If some do start fully clothed how many is "some?" Are they a minority or majority? No matter how gorgeous the quality of the material I need to see some sexy lingerie on a model's way to masturbation!
I recently joined and will soon do a review, but in the mean time I was wondering if there were any current subscribers? The latest review was from last summer (and it was a short one) and the last comment was from over a year ago. I haven't found any of the problems mentioned in the last few comments (which are pretty much outdated) so I was wondering how other members are doing.
Just rejoined the site after a few months to update my pics collection from this site. I downloaded around 550mb (did it in around 10 minutes with my 24mbps connection and Flashget download manager) and I have been blocked access for the next 12-24 hours stating excessive usage!
This is goddamn cheating! Nowhere does it say in the site that you have only limited downloads in a day and how much the limit is. This has never been a problem with this site before.
You pay $30 and this is the crap you get. Not worth ever joining again or keeping membership even if the site is good.
Just joined this site and initially I was thrilled. I'll write a full review in a week or so, but wanted to list some pretty substantial problems I'm running across right away:
So in the members area you can look at content in a few different ways, and I chose to start by just looking at the basic model directory and start with the A's. So in the model directory you can have it show as basic (just a thumbnail pic and name to represent a model) or the "full view", which shows her pic, has some basic info, and also lists all the sets that she is in, both pic and movie. Also, from this area where it lists all the sets you can click the set number which is a link to that set (either pic or video). Now, EVERY link to movies is dead on the model directory page. So, no big deal right, I'll just go to the model's actual page and get to it there. WRONG. Some models "model page" has their vids, some do not. Hell, some models "model page" doesn't even have all their pic sets, and you have to get to those through the model directory I already mentioned. Thankfully, all the links to the pic sets work from the model directory, but like I said before, NONE of the links to the movies do. This is especially frustrating since the site is already low on vids compared to pics, and some of the girls I want to see their videos!
I contacted their customer service with a detailed description of the problem, and we'll see what happens. I will reply to this comment with updates.
