This is advertised as high def and it really isn't. The compression on the images is really lamentable. This is a real real shame because it is obvious that the quality of the original photographs would have be stunning. |

Follow-Up:
I've had a reply from the WebMaster to my original review. I've checked the claims. To their credit they have reprocessed many of the image sets and the newer versions are indeed much more clean and lacking compression artifacts. For our readers, we're at medium resolution here, typically 1200x800. I'll take this opportunity to restate that the images well lit, well posed and decent smiles. If you're a general user I'd say the current improvements make this site a real contender. |
