I scoured PU & TBP for a site I havn't joined before and that has received a rating over 80%, but to my dismay I winded up with, Sapphic Erotica, a site I were a member of back in 2004, and had some mixed emotions about. So what had happened in those years of abscence?
Well, quite a lot, actually. The website is amongst the better porn sites out there, and a big improvement since last time.
The site is structured down to your basic 'search my model name' or by 'model type', be it shaved, hairy, small or big boobs, they're all there.
Unfortunately the search engine don't give the results you want, so it's better to go with the 'model by name' method, which is where you find the strenght and weakness' of this site.
Theres' an abundance of beautiful girs on this site, so it's wellworth joining, problem is most of them look the same, and the ones who don't are just some washover photos from the 90's, some of them incredible hot though, but still...
It is still a great website, and the content overall maintains a high level, although a bit generic, but all the same recommendable. |

Sapphic Erotica was the first paysite I joined and I've been a member three times since. It was a pioneer in the Euro babe arena and still has some of the best sex scenes with the most beautiful ladies of Eastern Europe.
Since my first subscription to the site in Jan '08 they've made several improvements. The newer videos are now being published in 1280 x 720 resolution and streaming Flash video has been added if you want a quick preview or if you want to skip the download all together. There is also a more robust search feature.
The quality of the women and the sex is superior to many sites. On my most recent visit I've notice a decline in both the beauty of the women and the sex has become more robotic. Sapphic Erotica also has more competition these days so they need to keep it fresh.
Overall Sapphic Erotica is a great site. As a whole it is still one of the best porn sites out there. |

The cons consist, in my opinion of two different apects: the style of the site and the transparency of the updates:
- the clear style, which I also mentioned as a pro can become a little boring, if you subscribe to the site on a regular basis or for a long amount of time. You get the sapphic-erotica-style. No less, but also no more!
There seems to be hardly any "evolution" concerning the style of the site. It stays, say, 60%-hardcore as it has been for the last couple of years, while other sites keep their style but adept to the overall development in the porn-industry. But maybe their customers like it that way.
- Regular updates without transparency:
There is (to my knowledge) no means to have a look at the latest updates without joining the site, which would be no problem since the updates are mostly of very good quality. |

Over the last 4 years I have been been a member to this site for 10-12 times.
As mentioned above, the quality of the pictures and videos is very good and old videos even have been re-coded in order to adapt them to our times where high bandwidth is easily available and most people like high-resolution videos.
The drawbacks come from the clear focused style of the site, that does not seem to allow for "evolution": Another type of girl here and there or a little less or more "hardcore" sex here and there. But that may be intentionally so and since the site is on top of most rankings for lesbian porn most users might not share my opinion on that style. Please feel free to reply. I'm a big fan of the Final Whistle sites. Sapphic Erotica has a tonne of high-quality lesbian content for a really great price through the TBP discount.
Having been a member of this site a couple of times now though I have to say that I think I'm becoming a bit tired of it. The videos are all a bit formulaic and it would be nice to see some more variation.
All that said, I'd still highly recommend this to anyone looking for lesbian content. |

- Newer videos have 1280x720 top option, most at least have 852 high end option and the first 30 or so videos on the site are the only really bad quality clips.
- Picture sets are zipped, but do not have picture set for each video set, also have a lot of photo sets that there is no video for.
- Good DL speed, about 95% of my max
- Total amount of content is very high 748 videos as of 2/2/2009, 1285 picture sets.
- Contains the most "tribbing" on a lesbian site that I have seen. |

I did lower my opinion a little on the overall score from my first review. Having said that, I still believe that overall it is the best girl/girl site on the internet. The older content has some real gems in those.
I still think content is disappearing. I used to have a Sarah Blake/Charlie Laine movie in front of a fireplace that said sapphic erotica on it, but it is nowhere to be found on the site. Probably one of the greatest g/g scenes I had ever seen.
Most of the newer scenes are bordering on uninteresting. I don't think it is the models' fault since I've seen these models in g/g content on other sites with much more passion and much more believability. The newest scene with Eve Angel is almost boring, and Eve won an award year before for Best Foreign Female Performer from AVN.
The site's navigation is okay. The new search is better than no search. I am currently on the site and searched for "videos" and added "trib" 57 results come up. Then I added "blonde" to the other two search terms and 42 results come up. So far so good. Then I added, "slim" to the 3 search terms and 53 results come up. Do some backwards math there and see that only 42 came up with videos/trib/blonde but 53 come up for videos/trib/blonde/slim.
Now you see what I mean about the search being better than no search, but you can also see how it isn't real consistent.
The picture sets range in quality by age. Most of the older sets are 1200 high end, and do come zipped. I've never really understood the purpose of giving you small, medium, large options on thumb size. I clicked the large thinking it was a larger resolution. The newest picture set, added on 1/31/09 has 2000 high end resolution.
Model selection is very good. There really are some very good videos in there. You just have to spend some time finding them. I especially recommend the older videos, even the ones of the "butch" looking models as those are filled with passion. There is one really cute video of 5 models, Sophie Moone is in it as is Sandra Shine, and Sophie does a little booty tease that turns into an orgy.
What it comes down to for me, the big name Euro models are great here, and the older videos are as well.
I rate it high because you just don't see a lot of quality lesbian content anymore and including SE's large back catalog of over 700 videos, you are sure to find some content to your liking. Add the high quality, just did a check, a video from 2003 had 640 high end with 1000 bitrate, one from 2006 has 960 high end with 2000 bitrate and in 2007 the 1280 high end started showing up. So that is pretty good, 640 is still standard for some sites today and they were doing it in 2003.
A few tweaks to the navigation and a more accurate search engine would help. I would personally like to be able to pick updates by years. It would make it easier to get the older content much easier. As it is, you have to click "Next" over and over until at the end. I still recommend it highly. |

This site has been around a while now, but when it first came out it was the best in it's niche. The girls were stunners (unlike another particularly highly-rated site), and for the most part, natural. But, more importantly, the girls actually seemed to be really 'going for it', justifying the site's tagline: 'pretty girls doing it right'.
The site's aim is to deliver realistic, passionate lesbian action, a far cry from some of the unconvincing and even 'nasty' lesbian porn that existed previously, and ALMOST delivers. Yes, the action is more realistic and more intense than what most viewers were used to, but let's face it, that wasn't really hard to achieve was it?
Personally, I feel that although the action on this site is hot, many other sites have caught on to what viewers want in lesbian porn and are rapidly catching up, and in some cases, even overtaking the passion and realism displayed on this site.
In terms of overall quality, however, you still won't find a better site out there. This site updates frequently and has been around for 5+ years now. It has over 720 videos, which can be downloaded in clips, or as a full scene with a choice of video quality. As far as I know, most if not all of these scenes are exclusive to this site, although you will find many of their previews out on free clip sites. Not being interested in photos, I can't say what you will find on here, but I doubt you will be disappointed - there are thousands upon thousands.
You can search through the members area by the models in alphabetical order, by video/photos, or by a specific set of criteria (such as whether the scene contains tribbing or 69-sex, by hair colour or breast size of the models, or even whether it takes place outdoors, in the bedroom, or whatever). My only problem with this is that when searching by model, it's only by trial and error that you discover which models have photos and/or videos (it can be frustrating to discover an incredibly beautiful model, only to find that there are no movies of her).
Having been a member several years ago, I feel the site has gone downhill a bit as of late. Don't get me wrong, the database is continuously increasing in size and you can always download content from earlier years, but it just seems like lately the passion isn't as intense as it was. I get the impression that toys are being introduced more and the site is becoming less focussed on 1-to-1 intimacy and more on group scenes, etc.
Overall, I still think it's the best value-for-money lesbian site on the Net, but it's competitors are closing in. Also, if you're looking for passion, there are now better sites out there (which are unfortunately still very small and new). |

In my humble opinion this is the lesbian of lesbian sites. There are not a lot of lesbian sites that bring this much quality or content. I would say it would take 3 months worth day and night to download everything from this website. Another website from the SapphicCash.com team recognized for OnlyCuties and InfocusGirls. The video content range from 20 to 30 minutes you can download them in short clips via .mpg or the whole movie with .wmv. The videos are all exclusive so you know your not getting some copied material from some other website or movie. The photos themselves are hi-res that are 1024x768 all in one convient zip file. Though I wasn't really interested in the photos since I was concentrating on the videos. I only bought 1 month subscription and only downloaded 1/10 of the site. This is definitely recommend for anyone who loves lesbian porn from good o'l Eastern Europe. The girls are lovely and most of them are barely legal and new faces to the industry. |
