It's been months since they've had all-exclusive content. I must say that they've been doing the non-exclusive stuff at 2000 pixels well (e.g. Lola as Nina Blond, March 20, very nice!), but it's not what they're advertising.
But now things have taken a turn for the worse. Since April 21st, they've been posting a lot of older-looking galleries at 1024 pixels. Makes that "New 2000 Pixel!" at the top left of the public home page ring even hollower than before (their really exclusive stuff has never been larger than 1500 pixels). The 1024s also have smaller thumbs (90x120) vs. their more common 116x175 for sets in larger sizes.
FYI, here's a list of girls who "max" at 1024: Carlita Connors, Dalila Paul (Ashton Grey), Fujiko Miles, Gloria Ardell (Sarah Blake), Jadra East (Adele Stephens in a rare hardcore set), Jana Cova, Kayla Quinn, Loni Xavier, Monique Alexander, Sable Randi, Silvie Thomas.
I think it's well past time for Pier999 to cut the BS and come clean. What you read at the start of this comment is their BLATANT false advertising. If challenged, I'm prepared to point out a number of sets on Pier999 that are non-exclusive.
I was dazzled when I first joined Pier 999 in the spring last year (2007)
Great videos in great quality and somewhat different in filming and editing.
It still is!
But for fans of 999-videos it's a dissapointment today - regarding updates. In the last six-eight months or so, the updates for the video-section has become way too small in amount. And VERY few HC...
Too bad, because this site once had fine potentials.
Now they have downgraded videos and goes for this speciel VIP-thing to take more money fra the users - and the VIP-thing is not worth the extra money.....
I just saw that Pier999 has posted updates into this month on the vistor's pages, so I joined (getting about 3.5 months for the monthly price). I've been noticing some things.
They update M-F, but a day's updates may include 2-3 photosets. The one's with names that begin with a "P" are not exclusive and tend to be at 2000px. I've seen some of this stuff, sometimes larger, sometimes smaller, at sites like Twistys, ClubNella, Babelicious, etc. The watermarks on the pics also acknowledge that this is licensed content, and the URLs show they're stored on a separate directory.
Their really exclusive stuff is still at 1350px, so don't be fooled by the "New 2000 pixels" on the visitor's home page. It doesn't mean everything; it just means the stuff you can also get somewhere else -- if you don't have it already. But the Pier999 versions do look great.
And there's "VIP" stuff coming fairly regularly in the "everyman" section of updates, even though they still also have the usual VIP section reserved only for those who subscribe continously for 2+ months. It's also at 1350px, but it's not all exclusive, either. The Nikki Blond set on Jan. 18th, for instance, is also at TeenDreams (at 1600px), but the Pier999 version has better image quality.
This was a great site - especially the videos (what else can a video-freak say?)
But what has happened to this former great Pier 999?
The updates stopped sometime in early december (2007) - and there are no video updates in that period at all.
So webmaster (or anybody else): Give us a hint!
My membership of this site was fairly short lived:
a) the models, posing and settings are faultless
b) image size is great
c) updates and variety are honest and fair
What put me off is the over saturated 'plastic' quality of the images, its like they have a process in photoshop of the like that 'homogenises' the photos
I've been watching Pier999 for a while, and was thinking about joining. They've been pretty good about keeping the "Updates" section on the site preview up to date - you could see what was coming. However, the last time the "updates" were updated was mid October.
Does anyone know if this is true? Have they stopped updating the site? That would be a bummer, their old sister site asian4you.com did the same thing before it went offline.
According to their TOS, it seems that if you cancel membership, access is terminated immediately. Anyone know of this for sure? "Upon our processing of your request to cancel your membership, you will no longer have access to the non-public areas of the Site to which you were a member."

OK, I canceled a few days before my membership was to expire, and i still have access.
A fairly recent creation, Pier 999 is right up there in the pantheon of high quality porn sites.
Although some may complain at the 'fashion' style of photography, I feel that this has not been overdone and that it enhances the natural beauty of the fine selection of models than can be found in the small but extremely high quality archive.
My being drawn to this site came down to not only the quality of the photography and presentation, but the presence of some of my favourite models in the porn business - Sophie Moone, Monica Sweet, Lenka Horakova and Thalia to name but four. The photosets are glamourous without being tacky, red hot sexy without being crude, and beautifully crafted. I also reckon the clothing and underwear worn by the models has been specially selected, in that unlike other sites I have never seen the same outfit being worn twice.
Most of the sets are solo girl, but there a number of g/g abd b/g sets if this is your thing.
If I might have one criticism - and it is a very, very small one - is that the names selected for some of the models can be pretty annoying and confusing.
