The buzz on this site is correct. I'm not particularly a fan of hardcore porn I like hot naked girls. The photography on this site is 5 star. The girls are amazing. You could surf this site everyday for a year and not see everything. |

Huge selection of models far too many to get through in one month. So they have helped you chose with sections such as best of Met and an advanced search with 12 search options.With such a huge choice there really has to be something for everyone no matter what your taste.
Models have generally multiple photosets with pictures ranging from high 3328x4992
to low resolution around 768x1024
Most photosets have 100+ pictures of the model and you get usually 4 updates per day including regular additions of new models.
Movies are streamable and downloadable in a number of options including ipod,Divx, mpeg,real player. With the recent movies being of a much better quality than when I was a member 1yr ago and are now generally HQ 1280x720
There is also a free cam section which is worth a mention but cant comment as I have yet to check it out. |

The Cons and where they lost the 10 points.
I was amazed at the difference in the quality of the photo sets from one photographer to the next with complete sets ruined with grainy and soft photos. As an example one great model VALENTINA A has a photo set NASCOSTA BY INGRET which is 9th Dec 2008 and the photo quality is terrible. Most photos are soft, grainy and lack sharpness. Compare this to the same model VALENTINA A SPLASH BY RYLSKY 25/10/08 and VALENTINA A
SPRINKLE BY RYLSKY 25/01/07 where the sets are of a much higher quality and so much sharper. You would think quality would improve as time went by yet earlier sets are in some cases much better than the updates and this is not the only example there are many more. Personally I would rather see less updates and maintain the quality. I did of course send them an email but it was never answered. The movies as mentioned are HQ but can be pretty boring and are really a movie of the photoset. |

Bottom line I had hope after rejoining a year later things would have improved but the photo quality of some photographers has never been addressed and I will wait some time before considering rejoining.
Otherwise it still has one of the largest photo sets to choose from and deserves to be in the top 10 though not necessarily as high as their current rating. They really need to address the quality of some photographers and if they don't sites such as torridart will soon start to give them serious competition as they grow in size and develop their photo sets. |

Best site on Internet for softcore European models.
Huge selection of models.
Many of the models are lovely/gorgeous/beautiful: really, some of the prettiest models I've seen on
any porn site.
Many different erotic photographers have contributed to the site.
Most models have multiple photosets.
Most photosets have 100+ pictures of the model.
The photosets are of very high quality (except some from the early years of the site).
With a membership, you get a large number of hours of live webcams per day.
For years they have been posting 3-4 new photosets per day. That is a huge number of updates.
They are constantly coming out with new models, as well as with new photosets of older models(not in age, but as in previously viewed models).
Most models appear to be in their late teens or early 20s.There are many different physical types of European girls: breast size: small, medium, large. Most girls slender, some medium, a few large (not heavy, just big beautiful girls). |

Sorry, but that disappoints me.
The videos are a very minor extra, hardly worth watching.
The models are almost all European. There are very few Asian or African or others. To see other types of models, go to a different site.
This is softcore only. If you are looking for hardcore, go elsewhere. No boy-girl sex. No boys at all. A little girl-girl touching, but so mild you wonder why they bother.
Met-art has a posted schedule for the livecam shows. If a model does not appear for her show, you don't find out about the change until you are waiting for the model to appear live, and maybe there is a replacement model, or maybe no show at all.
The same model can have different names. This is a porn problem, but why can't they give a girl a name and remember it?
Search feature for model sets is OK, but could be easier to use. |

If you like soft-core pictures of beautiful European girls, this is the site to join. The annual fee of $99 is a bargain.
This site (in my opinion) offers, for the same or less money, so much more than competing sites such as:
metmodels: (a sister site to met-art) that has fewer updates and fewer models and fewer photosets.
hegre-art: fewer updates and fewer models and fewer photosets. No livecams. No variety of photographers. And is more expensive than met-art.
domai: a nice softcore site, but again: fewer updates and fewer models and fewer photosets. No
livecams. And the photosets do not have the great quality of the met-art sets. |

-very good updates(normaly 4 or 5 sets each day)
-site has been doing very good with viedos lately
-no download limits
-photo sets average around 140 pics often more
-models often dont start off nude which makes sets more interesting
-some sets have very artistic look
-most sets have many good shots of the model from various angles
-there is now model info got added sometime in 2008
-huge ammount of pictures something around 600,000 total!
-good amount of models of diffrent bulids, skinny,large breasted,many diffrent skin tones, many models have very nice butts
-for me the site has very fast servers and I have used it on dial-up as well as DSL connections |

I feel that MET-ART is the best errotic art site on the net. It has the most to offer over any other simular site namely in sheer number of models and cost(if you pay the $99.00 yearly fee).I have been a member of FEMJOY,DOMAI,HeargeArt,and MC Nudes. All of these sites are very good as well but MET-ART is the one that keeps me most happy.AS I said in the cons the site can be a little confusing layout wise but to me its not really a big deal because MET-ART provides what I really like(errotic art) in spades.Another con would be that some viedos are just filmed photosets though I think this is more the artists choice than the sites saying. One artist GONCHAROV has outstanding films that are purely films and there is no camera(photographic)work going on the model is simply moving around as GONCHAROV films. Another con is that sometimes a model may only pose one time and never appear in another set however this quite rare and there are so many models that you are likely to have many favorites and most likely there will be a model that you enjoy pretty much everyday.I see that some people con the site for lacking masturbation ect. I dont agree with this it is not the aim of the site.Masturbation is more like true pornagraphy while MET-ART is errotic art to me those are two diffrent things.This site is for the person with a "sensual" eye one that is most pleased by the female form but not by a direct sexual act. The number one con to me is the pricing. The basic monthly fee adds up to $359.40 if you kept the account open for a year. It is best to try the site for a month and if you like it buy the $99.00 full year fee which ends up being $8.25 a month or the 90 day fee which is cheaper than paying the monthly fee at a higher price for the same timespan. My best advice is to try several errotic sites and find the one that most satisfiies your personal taste. That way you have tried some that you think you like and pick the best one much like when you buy a new car test drive. |

I've decided to join Met-Arts mostly because of cover pages of their daily issues, and those are pieces of art, really. But what really surprised and quite disappointed me was that inside their galleries feel quite different from the cover page. Met-Art doesn't "cheat", and "cover" is from the same gallery, but overall feeling is still VERY different. Sure, everybody selects the very best shot for cover page, but IMHO Met-Arts kind of contrast between cover and gallery itself is unusual both for paper magazines and web sites. Fortunately, Met Art has archives and IMHO back in 2006 and earlier this difference WASN'T THAT BIG. In general, I liked old galleries MUCH better. It's both good and bad to know, as on one hand, it means I can find galleries I like more, on the other hand, means that quality of Met-Art galleries (from my subjective perspective) goes downhill :-(.
Another thing that bothered me (and which isn't present on "covers") is mood of the girls. Granted, they're REALLY beautiful, but it is quite clear from the pictures (and videos) that most of them are just doing pretty boring job; I don't mind what they really think, but when it becomes obvious on the picture, then IMHO something is wrong. And again, this wasn't that much of a problem as late as in 2007.
In addition, I shall say that I'm not fond of picture sizes like 3328x4992: I never print such pictures, I don't have monitor that large, and don't think I will ever get one in foreseeable future (monitor with 4992 HEIGHT? even if such a beast exists, I'm afraid even to think how much it costs). I obviously don't mind about such pictures as long as Met-Arts provides lower resolutions, but I don't consider such HUGE pictures as an advantage too. But one thing calls for improvement, and it is that if I've selected "Mid-Res" once, then ALL the galleries shall start to be shown as "Mid-Res" (now they still default to "Hi-Res").
Bottom line: Met Art is one of VERY few sites on the Net with potential to make erotic ART, but unfortunately it (IMHO) doesn't realize this potential. Also I had a pretty hard time rating it, so to do it, I've compared how much I enjoy it with another softcore site I've recently joined - VirtuaGirlHD (I know it's apples and oranges, but I don't have any better reference). And IMHO MetArt's old galleries are about on par with VirtuaGirlHD (88), and recent ones are significantly lower, about 82, so I've took average (85) as an overall rating. |

Met Art has very stunning and striking photosets. If I had to describe the models. They would be queens, royalty, princesses and goddesses personified and represented with these models. some of the models were so striking that they took my breath away- just great top of the line sets.
I joined this site a few days ago for the fourth time and was surprised to see the price of $19.99. I suppose this special is to help promote their other two sites Metmodels, and Errotica Archives which is offered for $19 if you join them seperatly (their banners are prominent right after joining). The idea I suppose is that they lowered the price to make it possible to have 2 memberships for just $40. I just checked. you can select two of the three for $49, or all three for $59.99.
I have the metcams on another webpage as I speak.-- just got a hello back from the model Neela, very nice. Works well even with dial up ( is what I have) and can be resized to full screen mode by pressing f11. You can tip the models and make an offer for a private webcam chat at $2.50 a minute.
I give this site a 96 because $19.99 is really a great deal to have access to their stunning models and webcam sessions that run 7 days a week. The interaction feature is nice..
I have no idea when the price will go back to what it was when I last joined which was $29.99 so I'd say that this is a real good time to jump on board and try out this site. |

As a photo lover I would have to rank Metart as the best solo model / softcore photo sites out there. The photos get insanely large (4000+ pixels - practically life size if you got a monitor that big) and the photography is mostly excellent. With multiple daily updates and over half a million pics no one can complain about a lack of quantity or quality for the most part.
I would have to say that the vids lag behind the photos and that the vids mostly parallel the photo sets in terms of content. Like other PU reviewers have noted, they need to expend a little more effort to boost their video quality.
As with Hegreart, the focus here is mostly on european girls and for some reason they can sometimes come across as a little "cold" although this isn't a major problem. I did find the site a bit repetitive given that the content is very softcore.
Overall, I would join primarily for the pics at this point although the newer vids are quite good in their quality. If the site got a little "edgier" with some toys or lesbian sets I would jump my score to about a 95. As is, I got a little too bored with the vast amounts of material so, for me, a 91 seems appropriate. |
