Pros: HUGE amount of movies to choose from
HUGE amount of girls to choose from
lots of fetishes and niches
Cons: not a good enough download option
no pictures which is a bit annoying
could be cheaper

Pros: Lots and Lots and Lots and more than Lots of vids.
You could find almost any title, category and star.
Quality is not bad for many streams especially those that offer 1MB streams.
Ability to Pause and replay with ease.
Easy payment options for by the minutes, as you go, or downloads for rental and downloads to own.
Each movie is divided by scenes.
Cons: A lot of scenes don't have the star's name listed.
Older vids, older quality.
Pricey downloads to own in my opinion.
Bottom Line: I have only been a member for a couple of weeks, but I have been satisfied with the quality and quantity of the site. Just about every star ever in the industry has movies here. I am a big fan of the 80's and early 90's stars who had great looking bushes (don't like shaved personally. And this site has much from all categories from past to present. I did not even know over 90,000 movies exist for viewing.
I have not yet downloaded any for rental or to own so I cant review on that quality. But by the minutes I was satisfied on the streaming quality. Of course, the downside is if you want to see a scene over and over, the minutes will rack up. I have not yet gone over 10 minutes yet which costs about 1.40. Now this would be quite expensive if viewed every day. But i dont view every day and the site has vids that the monthly paysites like Videobox do not. Also, most movies i have viewed do not have the stars listed in the scenes. I like to know which scene has the star I like. Although Most of the newer vids do.

A lot of material.
Good quality.
Cons: They bring old films as new.
Sometimes quality of films are bad.
Stream sometimes really laggy.
Expensive
Bottom Line: Its a pay per view side.
For me its right now the best porn site with the most material.

Pros: -Thousands of movies!
-Three different video quality levels for streaming videos
-Not very expensive
-You can choose to download or stream movies (but downloading is more expensive, of course)
Cons: -Even the best quality is not DVD quality
-The search tool is a bit chaotic
Bottom Line: When I entered this site for the first time I didn't quite like it: I didn't like their searching tool, and I didn't find the movies I was looking for.

But then I came back with a more open mind, and I discovered that they have tons of adult content, classified by category, you can choose the scene you want to watch, and the quality of streaming videos -if you have a broadband connection, that is- is more than acceptable.

I would recommend this site for people who want to watch loads of porn and don't mind streaming videos -and I would recommend them to get a good bunch of pay-per-view minutes

Sister Site - Download 2 Own

Majormike mentioned this in passing - Hot Movies is part of a large series of sites all run by the same company. I'm not a fan of streaming, that's just a quirk of mine. I'd rather download a movie and either buy an unlimited time licence or just have unlimited viewing for a set period (normally 7 or 30 days).

I can agree with everyone here who recommends this site for its size. They have an amazing collection. For years I've been trying to find and watch porn that I had in my collection from 1985 to 2000 and this site has helped. If you like porn from that era they have lots there. If they don't have it, it likely isn't their fault. (Like earlier versions of Joey Silvera's "Fashion Sluts" series which appears to have been discontinued by the studio. Bad decision, studio guys.) They do have, though, a large collection of Randy West's Up and Cummers ranging from the very early to the more recent. These have always been favorites of mine and it is great to have access again. And in many cases if it is a title I really want I can buy the licence pretty cheap too.

Download speeds are average. I'm not going to make comment on video quality because I haven't viewed anything really recent, so what I've seen is probably taken from an old VHS tape. But it still very watchable.

Dollar for dollar VOD sites probably don't match big sites like Videobox or American Vice for a preson just building a collection. But for someone with a big collection already this site (and all sister sites) is an excellent way to see some different movies that aren't available.

One issue is DRM. I've always sworn that I would never have anything to do with a site that has DRM. In this case though, I'll make an exception. Hot Movies / Download 2 Own etc probably just agree to the terms set by the studio and if this is the only way I can see certain older videos then I'll live with that. In my opinion, it is still decent value.

I'd highly recommend these sites. they're easy to use and I've never had an issue.

Think of what you save.

Sign up for ten adult websites at $24.95 and that's $249.50/mo! Buy 10 DVDs? That's almost as much. And that's just TEN movies, or ten sites, sometimes featuring only one girl. Or worse, only one girl doing only one thing (i.e., posing, or using toys, etc).

I usually buy about 120-200 minutes for $14.95-$19.95 (still less than the average adult site) which usually enough minutes for me for 3-4 weeks.

And with that, I can zip from one scene in one video to another video. Without having to either pay for two different adult website membership subscriptions, or buy/rent two different DVDs.

If you "rent" a video at this site in case you want to re-watch a video for a few days, you're still looking at less than what pay adult sites cost or what renting costs.

There might be cheaper VOD sites, but none with this selection.

$34.90 is the most I may have ever spent at HotMovies.com during a certain month. But in that time, I have accessed anywhere from 10 to 20 different titles. Assuming an even mix of DVDs and pay sites, I probably have saved at least $460!

I've done the math. This site is definitely a lot more affordable that has been claimed.

Without a doubt, most sites content and certainly DVDs offer content at much higher quality video than with the 512K streams coming from this site. But it's a GREAT way to test-drive sites for their content, or DVDs you're considering buying.

average download speed - no 1Mbit

I suscribed a few days ago and the download speed is not as announced. Mostly i have only 200 - 400 kbit/s. Viewing "1Mbit-Downloads" is not possible. Viewing "High-Speed"-Downlaod is only 320x240 Vidoesize with 350kbit.
this is not acceptable for this price.

Lots of good movies here

I use this for many videos on their 7-day-download plan at $4.95 each. They have some fairly new releases for download, and for under $5 I can watch the movie for a week to see if I want to buy the full DVD later.

Their highest bitrate says 1mb but generally I find that the 1Mb is higher, at around 1.40Mb to 1.55Mb, and it's pretty good quality, although a 2Mb bitrate would put them over the top in their category (VOD).

I use DVD sites that have no DRM as well, but Hot Movies has much more up-to-date movies, whereas other (no DRM) DVD sites mostly have DVDs that are very old and can be found in bargain bins anywhere.

The selection of studios and genres is huge, and I have found that for this type of PPV/VOD site the prices are the best on the internet.
