*Newbie reviews and ratings don't count toward a site's overall score/rank until the user reaches the Rookie status level (5 points). This rule is needed to help prevent fake (or heavily biased) profiles and reviews.
If you click on a downloadable zip file for a picture set, it takes up to 1 minute to "find" the file and another minute before the actual download starts. (At least that's the case on my side). Also, during this search phase, the browser (FF 17 in my case) is basically frozen, you can still ATL TAB to other programs, but the internet connection is taking a nap.
So, if your download doesn't start right away, give it a little time.
Very difficult to cancel monthly fee. Hegre-Art Staff doesn't respond back to emails. Error message with redirect when trying to cancel. Have not been able to get any help from webmaster or billing company.
Very disappointed in lack of customer service. Why do companies continue to conduct business like they are on the hustle. I would have expected more from this company.
I've not been here in ages and thought I'd check it out, noticed they had some nice looking movies but some stated as short as 4 minutes. That does seem too short, no point getting a video camera warmed up for 4 minutes, don't really see the logic in making such short movies.
I have mixed views on the style of Hegre Art - although technically good, I find it a little bland. But for the resolution fiends, I notice that in the past few months, sets are available at 80 megapixels. A closeup would probably reveal more detail than you could see with your own eyes!
More than most softcore teen glamor sites, Hegre seems to make people respond in different ways, from loving the site to finding the site a bore. The PU score for the site is 77, while the TBP score is 92. That is quite a range.
VideosZ has a PU score of 75 and a TBP score of 92. VideosZ is a hardcore video site, instead of a softcore glamor photo site.
But I think it's interesting how some sites seem to polarize the members at PU.
Three of the most important factors in site value are:
-content quality
-content quantity
-price
Like hondaman, I think price is a major factor.
Hegre-Art is a good site, as far as content. But it's way overpriced based on the prices from a few months ago.
Prices for Hegre-Art have dropped recently.
PU currently lists a monthly cost of $19.95, recurring at $29.95/mo.
PU currently lists an annual fee of $150.00 (non-recurring)
The Hegre-Art site currently lists a sign-up fee of:
$19.95/month, recurring.
$99.95/year, non-recurring.
You almost need a dynamic link to these sites to get the updated prices.
I signed up for a 1 month membership to Hegre.com to test drive the site. I was able to access the site only for a few hours. (Less than 6 hrs.) I sent an e-mail to the site webmaster about 6 hours ago and still have not received a reply. I'm certain I typed the correct user ID and password but still can't get in! Has anyone else experienced this kind of problem with Hegre? For what it's worth, I signed up through CCBill.
