● This site houses extremely high-resolution and high-quality photos that are a joy to look at.
● Even the largest photos seem to load and download surprisingly fast.
● Incredible collection of gorgeous models, many of whom are exclusive to this site.
● Refreshingly, the models on this site vary greatly in terms of appearance, ethnicity, hair & eye color, bust size, etc., and, therefore, keeps you from getting bored with the site very easily or quickly.
● Good value, being as the site will keep you busy browsing for a long time. Consequently, it seems like you're really getting your money's worth.
● Straightforward navigation makes traversing the site easy and fun. No need to read the FAQ Page first, here.
● Profiles and extensive information on every single model on the site.
● Large array of size/resolution packages available to fit you best depending on your internet connection speed and your own personal preference. |

● I wish there was a little more content and updates. It would be nice to have 2 or 3, perhaps even 4 new galleries a day, but we don't live in a perfect world, so this isn't something I expected to begin with.
● Another thing that might improve this site, just that much more, would be if some of the sets were a tad bit more graphic/hardcore. The nude women are beautiful and who doesn't enjoy ogling at stunning, nude models? But it wouldn't hurt if Mr. Hegre showed a little more...pink in some of his photos. Don't get me wrong - I don't (and never did) expect a hardcore pornographic site here (nor is that what I want), but a little bit more pink can only improve a photo, at least as far as I'm concerned. Lol. |

Overall, I highly recommend this site, and it's one of the few sites that I do. It's also one of the few sites that I tend to visit on a regular basis (sometimes even daily), to check for updates and such. Just about every photo on this site is sexy, beautiful, incredibly high-definition, and technically perfect in terms of Mr. Hegre's skills as a photographer. There are a number of similar sites, but none I've tried top this one.
The one thing I've noticed with some other sites that advertise ultra-high resolution pictures, is that even though the photos are technically huge (up to 7,000 pixels squared) the "High Quality" format you can download or view the pictures in, don't seem as clear as they should be when you're looking at them zoomed-in and close-up. I had this problem the worst with Met-Art.com. The pictures are huge in terms of resolution, but when you zoom in, they look slightly blurry, dull, and, frankly, nowhere as clear as pictures of the same resolution from Hegre-Art do. And, although not every gallery at Met-Art had this same issue, a LARGE portion of them did, and I'm not sure why. The only reasons I can think of that can explain why this photo seems "low-quality" when viewed close-up, would be:
1) They are stretching out the pictures to make them look like they are of a higher resolution than they actually are.
2) They are simply taken poorly to begin with - The photographer didn't focus properly or arrange adequate lighting, etc.
3) Or, perhaps, even something just as simple as using a cheaper or lower quality camera to begin with than alternative sites do, which, consequently, is not endowing adequate sharpness and clarity to the image.
In any case, I've never had this problem with Hegre-Art. Their pictures are not only huge in terms of resolution, they are also super clear and sharp - every goosebump, hair follicle, freckle, skin pore, and other details are perfectly and beautifully visible.
One last point I'll add is that Hegre-Art houses a large number of beautiful models. Now, like any similar pay-site, although all of the models are generally beautiful, some of the site's models tend to stand out a little more than the others. Generally there will be a few select models who really stand out to you as being the cream-of-the-crop; the models who end up becoming your favorites and whose galleries you check out first when you log on to the site. The difference with Hegre-Art, though, is that instead of favoring 2 or 3 really incredibly striking, beautiful models on another site, here you're likely to find more than a dozen new "favorites". Of course, everyone's preferences are different, so I can't give you an exact number as to how many of these "Crème de la Crème" girls you'll find for yourself on the site. But the point I'm making is that you're probably a lot more likely to find a few new favorite girls here than your normal, run-of-the-mill, nude photography site.

Overrated, sets are boring and model poses are usually standing still with arms in different positions. Anna S helps keep the site above poor quality. Many new sets are repeated models in repeated shoot places which makes it more boring. Sets can be pretty small and when you get one update a day it falls short and brings value into question.
Hegre does have the ability to bring out some true beauty in models, early videos on the site are very good. Wasted potential and some recent lame fetish in some sets including latex and bdsm which are both very unappealing to me. Signed up for a few attractive models and some promising sets. Quality of site seems to have gotten worse. Needs a fresh look, needs more sensual poses, needs more variety, needs to go back to basics. |

Hegre Art art is nice erotic art site they have alot of pretty models to look at here. There are also some large photo sizes.The photographic stlye of Peter is pretty good as well though it seems in some sets that he focuses more on the props/surrondings more than the model which may be why some models seem to be stuck in a shell that being said I prefer his outdoor sets much more than his indoor sets.Hegre Art oes have some user forums for photos and such though I did not use them. All in all Hegre Art is a good site the main reason for my score is due to the high cost of Hegre Art $39.95 is $10.00 above what several competing sites charge and I dont see anything that outshines the other sites to justify the extra cost.If the price were lower I'd give it a higher score. |

As the for the good, this is a very good "art" site with no hardcore, toys and very little lesbianism. the photography is first rate with photo download options ranging from 1200 to 6000 pixels (who but the truly obsessed is going to download and view a 6k picture). Right now there are about 160 different models with the majority having multiple sets. There is a little info about each model which is nice.
As for the so-so part of this review (which is why I scored at as I did), a lot of the models are east european and Peter seems to lake the ability to bring them out of their shell. Many models have an ambivalent look about their posing that may be euro kosher but lacks fizz by US standards. Some of the girls are sizzling hot while many are simply good looking teens. The sets also tend to get a bit repetitive at times.
I wish there were more models to choose from and that Peter would get a little more creative.
All in all, it's a pretty good site. However, for the money, I would probably consider joining Met-Art (never been a member) over Hegre-Art again. |

VIDEO IS REALLY POOR.
I've put the statement above separate because this is it's biggest issue. Which is why they only get 76 from me. This is my way of telling them off because they should know better by now.
I've never understood this. I think it is because they are so successful with the photos they've got this don't care attitude and I sense this as a website that is in its own comfort zone. Why try any harder. We have beautiful girls. Hi-Res Photos, a loyal membership.
Yes, they have beautiful girls but there are a lot of plain ones and you have to waste time looking for them.
Format/Theme is very repetitive. Blur your eyes and you'll struggle to distinguish one from another in terms of location/poses.
I got a sense there was this massive archive behind the front end but nothing really intuitive to help me find my way. Navigating through it wore me down.
Sort out the HD-DVD. And where's the audio...

Massive Site. I think you need to join one of these types of site and I tossed a coin between this and Met-Art and Hegre-Art won. Somehow I feel like I called it wrong on the toss, no pun intended.
I think the strange thing about this site was while the girls I could be bothered to find and download are beautiful, you know to the point of being considered perfect, I've never gone back and looked or even opened the zip files. If I ask myself the question WHY, it's almost like my libido was eroded away by the sterile format of the shoots, and i think it is the 'Pirelli Calendar' Technical aspect that destroys the sense of this is a real person.
It is soft porn turned to Art Form, so if this is what you are after, consider you are in an Art Gallery and you'll be very happy.
If they gave you HD-DVD, encouraged the girls to look alive rather than being operated like machines, then I think they could inject that something that's missing...emotion, and without emotion, you as the member/user cannot connect with the girl. I certainly could not connect with the girl in the shoots.
It just seems to be too precise. quality is excellent but it's like coffee without the taste. |

Here we go...the great "genius" Petter Hegre, I hear that over and over again. So, I thought I better give this another shot, and see if I can change my quick score from last summer. I couldn't. Hegre is a former colleague of Galitsin (whose site is closed), and IMO, he can't carry Galitsin's camera case. I see nothing original or exciting in this man's photography---competent? Certainly. Even professional. But the cause of raving praise? Hardly. And his models? Mostly anorexic types. A lot of them very plain. His site leaves me....limp. That's the only way to put it. Maybe the problem is he believes all the hype about himself. Maybe he doesn't want to pay high class models. Whatever, I won't be back. A real disappointment. Technically, the high res photos come in 6 sizes, zipped up and convenient, very impressive. Too bad the photos are boring as milk. The videos are as boring as the photos. 640x360. Good server speed. Nice looking site. Easy navigation. B-O-R-I-N-G. Maybe Mr. Hegre should be photographing Athens at dusk. Or shoe models. I hope Mr. Galitsin solves his legal trouble and gets back in business. That's all. |
