What a disappointment

This kind of mirrors dingle's review of the site but, as I just clicked the cancel rebills link and directed Abby's crew to come here to see why I'm not re-upping, I wanted to make it easier for them to see this. It assumes they'll make the effort and I hope they'll respond.

I just watched the lastest video - a 321 meg file, 20:25 running time and, yet again, it was over 16 1/2 minutes of the model talking away before she started to undress. This trend almost has me wondering if AW is heading towrds becoming a non-nude site. Okay.. maybe that's a stretch. But what they're doing now is not something I'd ever knowingly sign up for. The same goes for the picture sets. The matching picture set to the above video was just as bothersome. 236 pictures with the first HINT of nudity at pic #135.

So what's the standard now? Picture sets that are 2/3rd's clothed? Picture and video resolutions that look upscaled - especially the outdoor shots? And who decided that a good porn site should include such yawn inspiring videos such as a girl prattling on about what a lazy day she had?

I never thought I'd have any feeling like this for a porn site, but I have to say I was a bit sad to see this one go down like it did. This used to be one of the few sites I'd actually let rebill. Not this time. Again - what a disappointment.

Are Abby's Days Numbered?

A recent thread mentioned their company, G Media, offices being raided by police because their porn was illegally explicit. These types of stories seem to rarely have happy endings, as porn and the law do not have a good relationship.

So, does anyone know what's going to happen? If any current members get news or updates from the site about its status, could you please pass it along here or in the above mentioned thread. I have yet to be a member of this site, but it's on my list, and I am steeling myself for the reality that it might not exist in the near future. :(

Follow up on AW issue and agreement with uscue

I meant to follow up on the issue I had with memory usage while running through AW, but I guess I took their approach and kinda let it slip for a while. It took 'em about a week to get back to me when I emailed 'em about how the memory usage was going through the roof. What I got was a letter blaming Firefox for being a known resource hog, along with a couple of links to all these steps I could take to minimize memory usage. Clear out the cache, delete temp files... all that stuff. Well, that's stuff I do daily, and browsing Abby's is still a pain. About 10 - 15 pages in, the memory usage starts to clog up the works. No other site I run through does that - not even hours long sessions browsing on Flickr . So, just like the problem I had with Matt's Models, I just see it as another site that can't look at what they're doing and admit that maybe they have a problem.

So, yeah, I have to agree with uscue - this site is definitely not what it once was. If it weren't for the fact that I'm grandfathered and can still get the whole site for a decent price, I definitely wouldn't have joined again. And, while we can't know for sure whether or not they're sending people here to shill for the site, they've made it somewhat clear in the past that they ARE a business, so I guess anything's possible.

What's with the useless newbie reviews

I'm starting to think AW has passed its peak, is slowly on the decline and thus is trying to drum up business by third-partying all these reviews they have on PU. First sign of a true problem is breaking up the site and making people pay three prices for what used to be one. Most other places are adding to the networks (with additional sites at no cost), not taking away (with additional cost at no extra sites).

That coupled with the most random, 93+ rated reviews that show up here every few months from a "new user" - just enough time in between reviews to not be suspicious - makes me not want to join. One thing you notice being a member here for a long time is that everyone doesn't all agree one way or another about a "name" site (popular sites). But apparently they do about Abby Winters

I didn't like the idea that they broke the site apart either - but I'm still curious how much content is being added to each niche now. If someone is going to spring for $25 a pop just to join one niche, it'd be nice to know they're not adding to the content only once or twice a week.

Very Passionate Lesbians

I am not overly fond of this site and I am always against sites splitting into several pieces, and many of the girls are not all that attractive. There is one thing that make this site worth keeping around. The lesbian scenes are the most realistic and convincing I have ever seen!

There was a recent poll question that asked if the girls in lesbian scenes are actual lesbians, while I doubt it is true I would venture to say that this site has the nearest you will find. I do not believe the girls her are gay-for-pay. They would almost certainly have to be very bisexual if not actual lesbians. If you are looking for passionate lesbians and do not put a high value on performers being drop dead gorgeous then you mus check this one out.

I am not submitting this in the form of a review because I did not rejoin the site, I was just going through some stuff from about two years ago while organizing and was pleasantly surprised.

We've just had a 100-score for this site - sorry, do not get it.
The amount of stuff here is huge, but the content?
It may be a matter of taste, but most girls here are somewhere between plain and ordinary in the amateur-way. Except from the boring lez-scenes, it's close to beeing just a nudist-site..
Ok, if that turns on some, fine by me - but a 100.
Been a member twice (the second time in hope for improvement) - never saved anything...

I had been out for almost a year, found the models to be much more well built and agressive. Better making out than before, and some really nice variations in the girl girl scenes. I am glad I rejoined, missed quite a bit of content, will not be able to catch up by the time my subscription expires..
