Pros:
- Huge Content.
- Excellent Customer service.
- HQ Zip pics (e.g 1328x2000)
- Great download speeds for me (1500-2000kb/s constant from UK at present)
- Good quality Different Download format options (WMV HD1280x720 & LOW852x480, DivX HD1280x720 and QT MOV960x540)
- NO DRM.
- No download restrictions, limits or silly temp out of order screens for downloading more than 1 file simultaniously etc.
Cons:
- Older movie archives in parts and some of these scenes have been resurrected into revamped quality new updates instead of newly shot scenes.
- Some updates are occasionally missing vids (e.g the ones crossed over from Eurogirlsongirls)
- The Regurgitation of some same content throughout network.
- The jokes updates, which are just a few outtake pics. Thankfully there is not many of these.
Bottom Line:
7 pro's and 4 cons probably is a little unfair to the site. The cons apart from the cross over network scenes are more like niggles than major cons.
I rate the customer service highly because I had a technical problem here, where my password was automatically being changed about 10x a day for a couple of days. Customer Service discovered the problem and said it would take a couple of days to fix. So they tacked extra days onto my membership and give me free access to another of their sites of my choice(I chose the new site DDF beauties) until the problem was fixed. Brazzers, pink visual etc take note, you could learn some customer service from this site, instead of ignoring problems or bullshitting members.
Get yourself a 1TB HD if you want to join this site. You'll need it unless you are very fussy about the amount you download.
Worthy of more than a months membership IMO. I'm now on the DDF prod offer, so technically I'm actually still a member here.
I don't see the need to have 9 additional websites especially when some of these websites are not updated very frequently. Plus they rehash what they have from 1by day site. They should consolidate their stuff to the main website and upgrade their archive.
Warning:
Bandwidth is a little sensitive when it comes to downloading. If you download from another website that doesn't belong to DDF the other website will hog most of the DDF bandwidth.
Bottom Line:
I previously written harsh critique concerning the customer services and limited bandwidth concerning DDF Productions. Even made harsh accusations of calling them liers and thieves. Well after contacting the webmaster Endre, he and his team have tireslessly fixed the problem of slow downloading plus restored my faith in their customer services of this website. I have changed my score from a 69 back to a 95.
Now on to this review. I signed up to this website for the 10th aniversary celebration of getting 10 websites for the price of one. I paid pretty penny for it since I was visiting Germany at the time and the conversion from 75 euros for 3 months is pretty high for an American living in Europe. I had noticed how slow yet tolerable the downloading became on this website. I was waiting about 5 hours to complete, when I came home to Italy the bandwidth was a lot worse. I contacted customer service and after some heated exchanges. I had proper and courteous customer service from the webmaster himself Endre. He and his team were able to solve my problem.
The website has changed a lot since my last visit almost one year ago. A majority of their galleries have been upgraded to HDV more models have been added to the site. One gallery is usually posted on a daily basis which consist of a photo gallery and movie. The movies come in come in 5 different formats which consist of
flash streaming
WMV
QUICK TIME (MOV)
DIVX (AVI)
VIDEO CD (MPG)
The pics can all be downloaded by zip file and come in three sizes which are 800px, 1200px, 2000px
There are 9 additional websites from this 10th anniversary package. Its a decent bonus to what your normally paid if its just the main website. A lot of themes displayed are not posted on 1by-day like house of taboo or handsonhardcore some of the movies have been nicely upgraded to HDV or high res when they were small grainy videos in their archive colletion. But like I said they should really consolidate their website into one website. It will feel this their main website bigger. There's also an added ALS gallery as well.
Anyway this is an excellent website which I recommend to the porn enthusiasts. Thanks for reading.

- Some sets can be a little formularic (but it's a minor gripe)
- fortnightly "jokes" small picture update instead of a new model with a full video.
Bottom Line:
Hey - it's 1byDay. If you have never been a member at some point then you can't really be a porn hound. Some of the (IMHO) most gorgeous girls in the business started here before they got too much surgery (Juditta), stopped doing hardcore (Eve Angel), or sturated the market (Sandra Shine). Fortunately a lot of those sets are still in the archive. Including the previousl mentioned "used to be perfect" Juditta (I bought a dildo from one of her sets when I was a member back in 2002(ish) and it's still a prised posession.
The girls are often gorgeous (not always it has to be said but more often than not) and are often pretty exclusive to 1BD sites. I've never been a fan of the other niche ddf sites so can't comment on duplicated sets.
The sets are often original concepts with interesting camera work and the vids have the right kind of balance between tease, closeup, full nudity, postions etc.
Everyone should have some DDF content in their collection and 1BD is a good place to start...and maybe even stay!?!

-The effectiveness of the search engine is doubtful and doesn't work at all for the archive section (stuff dated before July 2007)
-The archive section can be browsed only by updates log. There is neither a models index nor a search engine for this section
-The price is high and has not been lowered despiste the loss of the update rate

For me DDF Company produces the best porn of the world but I have to be objective and lower my score which was formerly 96/100.
1By-Day has changed for the worst with unfair practices & besides the site now lacks of many essential technical features.

- Nowhere near as imaginative sets as some of the competiion... and they don't seem to react on your suggestions.

- A lot of this content also appears on DDF's sister sites
- Slow downloads in the archive
- No short term full trial - a two membership would be cool.
- They recently tried to cover up their re-posting of the archive sets by removing access to it! .... Honestly!

No, this is a site I waited for a long time to join, and I was dissapointed in the end. The bottom line for this review is that I find it unacceptible for a site to pass off resolution improvements for real updates and use the same content on more than one site. Yeah, I know a lot of companys do that, but its not fair. A real update in my book is going out and shooting new material. This site needs to get its act together if its going to stay in the top ten.
Right now it is only worth joining for one month to download the current content. When they start uploading new content every day; reply to members' ideas and suggestions; and don't use the same content in all their sites - then I would re-join.
To be specific, I suggested a couple of alternatiev settings like a shop, train carriage and a bakery - nothing extreme - and heard nothing and saw nothing. I was a member for 3 months and only saw an increase in the amount of archive material being re-posted.
I am giving the site a rank of 69 beacause that means "It needs work!". Normally, this is a really good site. I can read in other reviews that they have good customer support which I agree with. One day I had access problems which too 12 hours to fix. Thats good. However, not listening to comments, wishes and suggestions is really a shame. If you're not going to use it, kindly remove the 'comments' box. I have been a member of their main competitor site and they showed everyone's comments and posted replys to most of them.
In conclusion, I can recommend several sets. The Double Dildo sets were my favorite - especially with CIndy. The Machine sets are good too and nowhere as extreme as some other sites where its just plain ugly.
A very sexy site that is currently under performing. I wiill gladly re-join when they have finished re-posting their archive and stopped using the same material on DDF Busty and other sites. -Site search is not very good. I searched "Lucky" in hopes of finding Lucky videos but got like 20 results all over the place.

-They add updates like they are magazine issues, which I think is rather dumb. It is a waste of time for something no one cares about.
-Extras are weak. Yes, if you signed up for the 7-in-1 deal recently you get 7 sites (I didn't), but they are not linked on the "Extras" page, rather you are given junky wallpapers and dumb videos of outtakes, or "bloopers".
-They just updated their site again, and while the new site provides a better interface overall, they eliminated 6 years of content (videos, images and girls all together)! People woulnd't otherwise realize that DDF has been around since 2001 and there was a lot of good content from girls who are rather hard to find (e.g. Stepanka Cisarova), and that is all gone.
-The timeout period is now rather short, meaning you will be putting in your login/pass quite often, yuck.
-Expensive! $35/mo!
Bottom Line:
Overall, an excellent site which is devoted to keeping pace with the rest of the porn world, maintaining a fresh looking website that is pleasing to use. I'm not going to say that this is the MOST pleasing site I've used, but it is one of the more pleasing ones (I put Brazzers at #1). There are not many things the site does wrong, where I can dock points from the rating:

The places where I did dock the site points is:
1) the site search is poor. It needs work to improve accuracy. Yes, if you search for a unique term (or name) you will get what you want. But a lot of the names of the girls are a bit generic, so the accuracy is not there because the search function searches names, tags, and text describing updates. So for example, when I search "Lucky", a rather generic term and the alias on 1By-Day of the highly popular "Lucie Theodorova", I get 26 results, yet there are only 3 Lucky updates, 2 of which show up as result numbers 21 and 23, and the third is the most recent update to the site and, as such, has not been added to the search. This is absolutely unacceptable. Not only should updates be IMMEDIATELY available in the search results, but the ones I want should be #1, #2, #3, etc. not #20 or so. On the flip side, when I search for more specific terms like "Tiffany" it works fine. In short, they need to fix the search function so that it has advanced search functions, like "search names only" or something.
2) They removed terabytes of content which was dated prior to July 2007! Up until recent when they changed the site again, all the content was available on the "Archive" page, saying to members that "hey we are devoted to adding new HD content, but for those of you who want the really old material we made, you can still get it". I can understand that it was very low quality being encoding long ago during the days of poorer internet connections, but there was no need to remove it. Burying it in the "Archive" page was the probably the most logical decision they made, one which I wish would have been upheld in this new site. What a joke.
3) It is expensive! $35/mo is a lot. Which is why I only buy access once every so often just to catch up on new updates.
Are either of the first two (huge) negatives reasons to cancel or not buy membership? Not really. For me, considering I previously downloaded all the old content that I wanted, its just upsetting to know they removed all that content. For most newbs to the porn world, they would never know the difference. Its just a disgruntling thought for purists like myself.
One last note, the watermark has been changed. Before it was more ominous and in the corner, now its more subtle and closer to the center.
Again, good site, maybe a bit pricey for some, but you get a lot of good, high quality content.

Hardcore content is same as on Hands on Hardcore, another DDF site so if you want just hardcore, you'd best give this site a miss.
Expensive for what's on offer.
Some old content is remastered, which in some cases is good, but it means less new content.
Bottom Line:
For hardcore, I couldn't really recommend this site - after membership of Hands on Hardcore I was curious to see what this partner site had to offer and found myself somewhat disappointed.
If you're really into the girls then this site offers plenty of information, casting videos and Flash castings (something unique to this site).
Being able to browse photosets using CoolIris is a bonus, though I couldn't get it working in IE, just Firefox.

Sometimes the sets and the faces are repeating, but beeing honest, with that much of content, it`s no wonder.
The navigation isn´t awfull at all. But there are two things they had changed worse.
You can`t see at the calender preview which topic the video is. Former times it was easier. The videos had headlines, therfore it was easy to see what kind of topic is behind the beautifull picture. The second point is, that you aren`t able to see the calender posts of former years like 2006 e.g.
Last but not least the price is much to high. Even if you have so much to enjoy arround 35 $ is to high priced.
But all in all this site is a MUST VISITED.
Lower the price and clear the navigation a lilttle bit then my points go up to 99.

This used to be one of my favorite sites on the net, and with the deal they had to get access to all the DDF sites for one price I decided to join again. Sorry to say it has gone way downhill. The navigation was always slightly annoying, but it has gone from bad to rediculous. Their archive section is impossible to sort through now (used to have these nice pull-down menus in the archives, but I couldn't find this anywhere).
Even though you get access to all the DDF sites for one price, I still thought it was a ripoff, especially with the duplicated (or alternately edited) content. Not worth it anymore, especially if you have been a member previously.
after downloading a few videos, the downloadspeed is cut down below 100 kb/s.
also the use of a dl manager isn`t possible anymore. the video downloads break after a time.
Just took the tour because I got curious in connection with all the remarks, pro and con, lately. One thing that immediately struck me was the huge logo in the lower right-hand corner of the sample videos. Loved the samples, hated the huge intrusive logo. Question: do the regular videos for paying customers contain the same atrocities? Maybe I'm being anal about this but for me that would be a good reason not to subscribe.

Well, have you noticed that 1byday is taking more than its usual amount of time downloading the pages -- one day after another? Recently, those gallery pages, which used to move fairly fast, are slowing down considerably! Even the home page for members is waking up like a shit-faced drunk after 3 hours of sleep.
I chalk it up to popularity, especially that 10th Anniversary deal. And I'm contributing to the problem as well, if not for very long each day. And I wait longer than those proverbial 8 seconds, too. Gotta be PATIENT!
Disturbing trend over the last week or so - video quality has dropped considerably.
Since adding the backstage vids the type of video offered has changed. At present the best is advertised as HD quality 720p but in practice the new vids are blocky, 4:3 and only available as mp4 mov files. Far far far from HD. Not a patch on the old (earlier than 1st August) mp4 avi files.
Maybe it's me as GSopt can't even render the files to tell me exactly what they are but I've never had a problem with mov files before...
OK - they're half then size but who wouldn't choose quality over quantity? I know I wouldn't. Very disapointing trend.
Looks like 1BD have turned off the rollback server. This means you can no longer set up downloads using a manager such as FDM and schedule them to download overnight. Plus you now have to use the really clunky and ugly "improved" web interface. Urrgh..horrible.
After your review I will give these guys another try. I tried a very while ago and the movie buffering killed it for me. I will have to try again. Thanks!
