Nice review graymane, I totally agree with your points, I made the mistake of joining here, or one of their many offshoots some time ago and was regretting almost instantly.

REPLY TO #1 - slutty :
Thanks, slutty, for taking the time to add your kind thought.
Your words couldn't have echoed my sentiments with this site any better.
They fit quite nicely associated with my review.

Excellent, well written and informative review. I shall take note of your warnings. Some may be expecting more, given the name behind the site, but it looks like one to avoid.

REPLY TO #3 - TheSquirrel :
Thanks, squirrel for those kind words.
I earlier typed out a lengthy reply detailing my appreciation and some additional comments relating our combination of thoughts about the review, as well as more on this site.
Unfortunately, the half-ass method by which to transfer messages via this feature seemingly wasn't working, thus evidentaly pushing everything I wrote off into a black-hole somewhere, leaving me in a position wherein I couldn't get it back.
For all of PU's many sterling qualities, the difficulties of simple matters finding where to do reviews and getting messages like this moved from point A to Point B really does a number on me.
But many thanks anyway. Your reply means a lot.

Cheers graymane, it's obvious you take the trouble to put together a really good review (which applies to most of the regulars here).
I have to admit to mostly reading reviews by regulars. Some newbies take to it like a duck to water, others take time to get used to it, but the best reviews for me are the ones with the required facts along with a unique slant that only that particular taste and personality can bring.
I have more than once had an hour's plus hard work wiped out by pressing the wrong button (NOOOO!!!) or my computer having a mind of its own. That can't happen with pen and paper - unles you do a Richard Pryor while writing.

Happy to hear from you again. Messages from the regulars, esp. our noteably venerable ones such as you, are always welcome ....
Correction: add the suffix combination "treasures."
If you don't already practice this, here's a tip to hang on to your work while composing:
Just periodocally hightlight your text, hit your Ctrl+C keys and save what you've already done. So if you're wiped out, just press the Ctrl+V keys and volia.... you're back in.
You can also first put it on a Word's word-processor and transfer it onto your review -- or wherever.
The only problem I have with reviews is not knowing the technical stuff pertaining to the family of image and video performance ... I mean like the number of sets, quantities of pics, resolutions and the like. I just make up for it by discribing just what I see.
And like you, I almost bleed over the time and effort I put into putting together a comprehensive review.
PS...
I suppose you're just one of a very few who read this review ... judging, that is, from the absence of replies.

REPLY TO #6 - graymane :
I think most of the regulars read the regulars' reviews, but don't leave replies, so I would imagine quite a few will have read your review, and will have appreciated it, even though they don't comment. I read tons of great reviews, and have to admit I often don't leave a positive reply, when I should.
For me the most annoying thing about doing reviews is taking the trouble to do one, then ten minutes later seeing it replaced on the "front page" by one about ten lines long that took all of five minutes to throw together. No, it shouldn't bother me, and yes I know how PU works, but it does.
Yeah I occasionally now do the Ctrl V thing. It's when I don't that something usually goes wrong. For reviews I simply open a file and over the period of membership, jot down any pros, cons, and bottom lines, whenever I think of one, then begin to put it all together after a few weeks.
