Good review, pat - this site quite appeals to me, especially as I've not got or seen any of the DVDs so it would all be new to me. I like even a modicum of production values - a little acting and story, no matter now ludicrous (arguably the more the better) make things more fun. I'm also tempted by Cinema Erotique - have you tried it?

I've always felt that GF considered dialogue to be just as important as the sex scene and that's why it's not just a bunch of words that the performers recite to each other for a few minutes before they have sex. That's also why the acting is usually very good and helps the viewer get more interested in what's going to happen once they do star having sex. I've notice that the main theme for many of GF's movies is one woman initiating another women into lesbian sex.
I've never joined cinema erotique but I've parts of some of their movies on the streaming site hot movies. It might be worth taking a look at that site to see if you might like the movies. I think you get 15 free minutes when you sign up to hot movies but I'm not 100% sure. In any case hot movies has 41 cienam eriotique movies

Great review, Pat. Certainly tempts me to consider this site for a one month subscription. Especially since I saw one sample in the tour that not only featured Faye Reagan but also vintage (fifties - sixties) lingerie.

The Faye scene is from their collection called Pin-Up girls which is about lesbian in the 50's-60's all wearing vintage style clothes and underwear. They only have 8 scenes out of a possible 24 on the site but I'm sure they'll add more as time goes by. I don't know if the series was as popular as they wanted or was too expensive due to the cost of vintage clothing but they only released one movie in May of this year and I haven't seen any othe mention of futur releases.

Thanks Pat. Judging by the trend in modern porn they probably found that the series wasn't all that popular. I seem to be one of the few voices crying out in the wilderness for some nice, erotic lingerie rather than the (to me) utilitarian and bland stuff so much in vogue nowadays.

I think you are correct about the trend in modern porn. Unless they change their direction. There will come a time where what's being produced no longer appeals to me. I also think that GF found the series a little too expensive because it's not only the clothes but the decoration and props that might have added to production cost.
Having to decorate a room 50's or 60's style can get expensive and that's money taken from the possible profit. Not too mention that to be authentic the women would have had to have been authentic looking and tattoos and bald beavers were not common in those era's.

Nice review Pat and good to see it here and finally released as a website. I'm too disappointed with the amount on the launch when they have so many scenes but that said it's good to know there is regular updates to keep it interesting and worthwhile maybe staying a member for people who can afford to stay on for longer than a month. I'll leave it a while I think till they have 350+ scenes as lots of them are not there of the ones I'd hoped for and see Allie Haze isn't even mentioned yet who I love.
My only snag is also and its a minor one and really just simply my preference but I would love to see more 3 somes or 4 somes on girlfriend, they seem to be rare thing and does get a little boring for me watching just couples, you can have more banter with 3 or more and prefer those types of scenes the most in lesbian porn, I always have, most people prefer the intimacy of couples though.

GF has only done a few 3 somes and I don't think I have ever seen a 4 somes. I don't think you will ever see a 4 somes for the simple reason that GF movies strives to make the lesbian sex look as real as possible and 3 somes and 4 somes smack more of porn than anything else. Not too mention that having too many performers on screen means that the camera can only spend a small amount of time on part of the action or pan left and right continually and that usually gets annoying real fast.
I prefer when there are 3 or less players on screen so that we get to see more of the action. That's why I avoid all orgies in porn. I find that the camera is never where I want it to be.

Oh yeah I totally understand why they don't make many 3 somes on gf and other companies too, I'm very much the minority when it comes to preferring more girls in a scene, I guess my eyes get greedy and want to see more females but yeah its a nightmare to film orgies I would think to get on the action is much harder to capture and makes the sex less of the focal point and personable and its more about the group nakedness kink that I like I think. I love lots of naked women in scenes on some of the Japanese films but sadly not overly keen on the mosaics. I just when I'm watching movie over movie of couples find sometimes I like to mix it up with a lezcuries 3 some or sapphic old school 4 somes, variety is the spice of life. I hope they do some more 3 somes at gf, have to wait and see. But totally get your point about its not what girlfriend films is all about, its about passion between 2 women more.

I think passion is the key word for most GF movies. That doesn't mean they can't film some super hot 3 somes scenes because I've seen a few that were simply amazing. It's just that they still have a lot of passion in their 3 somes.
I avoid Jav mosaic porn more because it's a distraction then because you can't see the action. Mosais porn is like watching something a little out of focus. Your brain keeps trying to bring the image into focus and you miss the action because of it.

True mosaics are just too odd for my liking, I don't get what is so wrong with Japanese ladies genitalia it needs the fuzzy pixels to hide our eyes from, the Japanese can do hot lesbian stuff and are very unique, if they ditch the mosaics or a studio outside of Japan hires japanese models and films still in that soft style and lots of kissing I'd be on that site in a shot.
