The reason I no longer allow Downloads babe is because everyone is stealing them and throwing them up on tube sites and torrents. I would think that would be common knowledge at this point.

Thanks for the reply and taking an interest in pornusers, the guys here are always happy to hear feedback from site owners/webmasters.
If you are so proud of the fact your site does not allow downloads why do you not promote the "No Downloads available" in the tour pages, I suspect because you know full well it would discourage genuine potential customers from getting out their credit cards. You are basically telling potential customers they might as well go and download your content from tube and torrent sites because they won't be able to download it by paying for a membership.
I seriously doubt these actions will stop those who are determined to steal your content as i'm sure those pirates have the software and knowledge to easily grab streaming files and convert them. I've never looked into it because i'm not really a video fan, i'm more into the glamour photography side of things and despite your attempts at restricting downloads of photos by having no zip files and disabling the "right click save as" feature i was still able to easily grab the sets that interested me using the firefox browser add on "Down Them All" but rest assured they will only stay on my hard drive for my own use. My attitude is i've paid for it so why would i want to give it to anybody else for free.
But anyway thanks to my review and the new review i noticed was posted at The Best Porn yesterday at least potential customeres now have advance warning of the "No downloads" policy and potential frustration. If you think penalising paying customers is the way to do business then good luck to you. With video downloads and photo zips i would probably have rated the site 10 points higher by the way. Once again thanks for the reply.

I like Tia Ling, but the lack of an ability to download will keep me from ever joining. If I pay my money, I expect to get downloads. You are definitely in the minority of webmasters.

That is definetely your choice..... but their are other webmasters doing the same thing, I can name plenty. Also, their are plenty that are planning on switching that just haven't yet.

I'm glad t hear that they would only stay on your hard drive, but if you think that's the case in general you are being nieve. I own the site, I see where my content goes and ends up, I protect it as anyone would. Yes people can still grab the photos, which isn't as big of a concern to me, but you can't grab flash videos unless you put an absorbant amount of time into it. The simple fact is that since I have done this I have had less theft, I know this because I track it and the vids that do pop up on tubes are clips that I've approved for webmasters. No members have complained and I've receved good feedback on the quality of the vids even though you can only view on the site. I know this may be difficult to understand but content isn't cheap and isn't easy to produce, not everyone can afford to just produce it only to have it stolen and ripped up on every torrent / tube. I didn't make things this way, just adapting.
As far as the tour goes, no where on it does it say downloadable anything. It was designed before the members area changed but is in no way misleading. if you like quality asian hardcore content, solo nude and fetish you will like my site. The vids are very easy to jump around in as long as you don't have a phone modem,lol, its no different than downloading and replaying.
Finally, you're last comment is out of line. I love my members and anyone will tell you I go out of my way for them because I enjoy it. To imply I'm penalizing members is rediculous. If you disagree on the no downloads, that's fine, I'm sure there's some that do, but I don't think you're being very objective about the situation we face as producers these days. At any rate, I've said my piece :) tia

I decided to test your theory. I have little to no technical knowledge regarding computers, infact your site was the first time i've ever managed to get Down Them All to work successfully. I did a simple google search of the words "download flash videos" and in no time found a simple piece of free software which basically allows me to save to my hard drive the video that is playing in my browser. After that i searched "convert flv to wmv" and again the first piece of software i downloaded for free enabled me to easily convert the flash file into a wmv file to store on my pc and play with windows media player. So if somebody with little technical knowledge is able to download and convert streaming videos to wmv in no time at all then i would suggest its a minor obstacle to someone truely intent on stealing the content and an inconvenience to paying customers who want to download and keep the content for their own viewing.
I appreciate the problems you and other websites face with theft but i don't really think denying paying customers downloads is the answer so we'll just have to agree to disagree on that. Thanks for the feedback anyway and hope your site continues to prosper:-)

Uuuggghh.... I ll tell you what , why don't you just print a manual on here instructing everyone on how to do exactly what I'm trying to avoid. While you're at it why don't you just point people to illegal download sites for ripping copywritten software to use to pull down flash videos ?
Yes....I'm sure if you look hard enough you'll find a free program that will fix just about any issue you have. However, the fact is that most are not going to go thru all that trouble of finding a script to download and then finding one to convert to wmv. If they go through all that and for all my videos more power to them, but most are not going to.
I can appreciate what you're saying, but it does make a very big difference in theft regardless of what you may be able to pull down with a script or what you may think makes a difference. As I said, the customer can still watch the video just the same as if dowmloaded, my customers don't seem to mind at all.

Well if you're happy and the majority of your customers are happy then who am i to argue. Respect to you for coming on here and defending what you believe in. All i tried to do was review the facts fairly as i see them to help other pornusers make an informed choice as to whether they wish to sign up to a site that is streaming only. When i sign up for any site i do so in the belief that i will actually be able to download the content i'm paying for as i'm sure the majority of people do. Once again thanks for your input.

Just Wanted to post here to let anyone know that downloads are now available. Entire Methodcash members area was actually redone across the board. Actually a pretty cool set up as you can switch from site to site very easily.
