4K is a pretty good size for pics - I'd prefer to see at least 2K and ideally 3K on sites I like.
If you're really into the details, then newer sets Hegre-Art are almost 9K!

Yeah, I love life-size pics where you can see every detail - unless it's a site that photo-shops and erases all the skin tone - then I just get even more pissed off.

I do wonder why some sites still post 1200px or 1600px when, for probably the past 5 years, even a relatively modest camera will produce 3K or 4K pics :|
But agree re photoshopping!
