Schnitzel (29) Most definately.

My computer hardware budget money tends to be spent mainly on external hard drives!

Monahan (42) Same as Schnitzel. My last computer purchase (2006) included a 250 Gb hard drive plus a 300 Gb Seagate external hard drive. Since then I bought an 80Gb Iomega portable hard drive for road trips.

apoctom (145) I always need more space since I do video editing, but part of the reason that I am running out of space to begin with is my porn collecting. I've bought multiple hard drives (internal and external) plus lots of blank CDs and DVDs to try and manage my ever-growing collection.

sullivan (32) Either the graphics on a Mac are superior to those on a PC, or I'm just used to them. Either way, I would hate to watch porn on anything but a Mac, because the colors and image quality just doesn't look right to me.

nygiants03 (162) it hasn't affected me yet. But it might, my laptop has 100 gb of space and i only have 6 gb left, its all porn basically. The sad thing is I made over 20 dvds of porn from this computer then erased that porn from my hard drive and still have hardly any room left. So, I might need to buy one of those external hardrives, sounds like a good investment.

Wow! 8+ TB. I can only imagine the electric bill and the amount of heat that all those drives generate! How many drives are you using to get that capacity? My PC only has room for 4 internal HDs and I've got just over 2TB (2x750GB and 2x320GB) in it.

RagingBuddhist (65) REPLY TO #7 - apoctom :

The PC tower is more of an end table - it's a double wide and I could get 16 internals in it - but because my motherboard seems to have issues with controller cards, I run 8 internals and the rest daisy-chained Firewire externals. Funny.. I remember, when I got my first 120 gig, thinking it doesn't get any better than this. Now, as you seem to know already, 750's are pretty cheap. And yeah, I do have to sit in near darkness to be able to pay the electric bill every month. Oh well... it's my hobby...
