hey man,
when I joined recently I didn't see any real HD content, and haven't seen any on the site since I have been a member (or any options to get it). the only place I have seen any mention of HD is in a user poll asking if was more important to implement HD, user comments, or mobile - of course HD is winning in the poll, but it appears as though they implemented user comments first.
Of the scenes I have downloaded, the best I have seen is 720x540, 2700 kbps, and while the bitrate is reasonable, the video is by no means crisp. I would say their video quality is sub-DVD from what I have seen. I don't know if it is the codec they use or what, but given the file sizes you download, I would expect much better quality.

Thanks, slutty, that's exactly the quality of the scenes I got when I was still a member not so long ago. I was just wondering about the HD because it plays such a prominent part on their sign up page, there is a streaming video that compares ordinary scenes with "premium" HD scenes and the difference in quality is obviously startling. Just wondering if I overlooked something new. If you get the time check their sign up page and you'll see what I'm getting at.

Odd, I don't see what you are talking about on the sign up page, does this show up after you select a username/password? Maybe its my cookies or something...

Yep, it's after you put in a user name and password, as well as which plan you want to use .. this leads to the page I am talking about. No harm in trying because you don't need to give out any credit card details. Sorry, should have mentioned this in the first place. Blame forgetfulness!

oh well, regardless, no HD content there anyway, perhaps just a tease of something in the future?

Do you have anything turned off, slutty. Like the automatic playing of Flash? Of course it is also possible that they've now removed it because it did confuse people. In any case you just confirmed what I wanted to know: No HD yet, so, thanks!
