My first thought when reading this review is that it probably should have been a comment/warning instead of a review. The reason I say that, you have 6 pros/4 cons, and two of the cons only are cons in the area you are in.
On the flipside, I'm also in on the special right now at 1byday/DDF and have received 95% of my max download speed for two straight weeks. The only problem I've had is that a few thumbs don't open, but that has always been a problem with the DDF sites. Believe Spencer's new TBP 1byday review even mentions the problem.
There also have been a few other comments here about the sites running a little slow during this promotion, but each says their DL speed is fine. If you will look back at your bottom-line, it isn't so much a review of the site or content as it is an explanation of the problems you are having with the site. Not trying to bust your balls or anything like that, I'm just not for sure how a site with 6 pros and only 2 global cons rates a 69 and think it would have been much better served as a comment/warning for those that will be in the area you are in.

I said in my review I didn't have any problems while living in the USA. I see your living in the states so of course your not going to have any issues with this website from the problems I am having. Anyway a great website or a great business can make or break it simply from quality customer service. If you bought something really expensive from a huge store which has everything you could want but you end up getting a defect and you attempt to return it for a refund and the store refuses would you continue to do business with that store? If a business is only going to do so much to help a customer because of policy or just want to keep your money and leave you hanging, I am sure you will be just as upset as I am. Remember, it only takes one bad thing to make a bad impression on someone and I am saying it happens in life in general no matter how good something is. 1by-day has broken a business trust. If they had refund my money I would have given them a decent rating of 90 because made it effort to help a dissatisfied customer. I would do business with them again but only when I get back to the US but after this scenario hell no.

First of all, I apologize.
We are looking into this. It is not permanent, nor a global thing. Our office is in Europe too, and we get maximum download speeds, and I also get the same from my home.
It is more like custom routing issues between specific ISPs. I hope that it gets solved soon.

This sucks! ISPs can really ruin one's experience with a site, especially if far faster speeds are possible.
I also joined under the August 10th Anniversary deal but only for one month (I guess I have some sympathy for my hard drives), and my download speeds have been very decent, but I'm in the U.S., not Europe (which definitely beats Iraq in Internet access!). I have been get some pretty slow page loads, but that was expected with the warnings other members had given in last month's comments.
I am not sure if the "bonus" sites are completely non-exclusive. House of Taboo is definitely separate from 1BD, but aim of its content sort of demands that. Other sites it is hard to tell what is what, though the badandy-amount of content on 1BD can make it pretty difficult to tell, not to mention that models work across many of the sites doing similar acts. For example, the sizzling Zuzana Z. does fisting on three or four of the sites, but I haven't found all of it on 1BD.

bigvman, I think you misunderstood my post. My main point was that you could have posted a comment with the word "warning" in the title and explained the slow speed situation and at least a close description as to where you are located. This way, potential members would see the warning clearly labeled in the comments in case they were in the area you are in or close to it. See what I mean? Since we don't title our reviews, yours just blends right in with the other reviews, but warning as the title of a comment would have been clear to everyone.
Though one of their webmasters is now posting on this entry, I would like to say that I've not known many sites that offer refunds. Similar to your comparison, unless the store you hypothetically mentioned has a return policy, then I wouldn't see why the customer would be upset that they didn't get a refund. You also mentioned that the hypothetical product was defective, but in this case, if the rest of us are using the DDF sites and you're saying you know when in America that you wouldn't have these problems, I think you can see that the defective part isn't their site.
I'm on your side though, I hope they do something to fix it for you.

Sorry man, I did misunderstood what you said. I should put a warning there. That is a wonderful idea to use titles in our review. Anyway the webmaster contacted me. Their techs are trying to resolve the issue. I just hope they do it soon especially with labor day weekend. Your right most websites wouldn't offer refunds but usually try to compensate for the customer if there are problems. What pissed me off more was I felt they ignored me, I didn't really care about the refund. I just wanted my problem fixed or given the assurance it was being look into and I am being updated on it. If I can call them by phone I would so they can see what I am seeing. The thing is there are the tools available to do this. If I was logging into their server they should see how much bandwidth I am using or whatever problems I am having thru their server. I'll go ahead and put a warning on my review right now for a heads up to everyone.

What I don't understand is I am getting fast connection on other porn websites except for DDF sites. It could be routing issues but still DDF is a big website company that should be able to compensate a good bandwidth connection to most clients around the world. At times like this I wish I was back in the states. The ADSL has improved greatly thru my ISP. My speeds runs as fast as cable now. I really don't think its my ISP provider.

Interestingly, the material that I have downloaded at House of Taboo (and of course this just represents my tastes) downloaded as "Hot Legs and Feet" material - so I believe that there is definitely cross-pollination across all of the various brands - not that there's anything wrong with that, in my opinion.
