Pros: : Lots of variety

: Contrary to BP review, videos are downloadable - this may be a recent change.
Cons: - Special price is 9.99 Euros NOT dollars
- Of the 38 Sites, quite a few CLAIM to be in Hi Def but they are not...NONE OF THEM...nowhere near! h264 encoded vides are stretched to distortion
- All the photos are very poor resolution and small size - they may as well be screencaps.
- No zip files of photos
- Access to DVD site costs more
- Instant Upsell links - BEWARE !!! (see below for more)
- Most of sites have round 10-20 vids only
- No replies to emails from owner
- Uses payment processor owned by same company: no protection ! (see below for more)
Bottom Line: This is a site that has REALLY annoyed me!

First, the special price for BP users in Europe at least, is 9.99 Euros, NOT 9.99 dollars as claimed on the site and in the BP review.

Having overcome that minor annoyance, I joined and quickly found that of the 38 Sites, quite a few CLAIM to be in Hi Def but they are not...NONE OF THEM. (see my *comment* for a video *analysis* of the videos. All are around 1100 kbps and are around 450MB for 45 minutes.

Not only was it clearly marked on the front page that there were Hi Def (some say 1080p), many of the video options have a Hi Def h264 choice....However, these are the same size as the WMV versions (altohugh a few are labelled to suggest they are bigger - they are not !) AND look identical. To rub salt in the wounds, the h264 encoded vides are stretched to a distorted 640x426 (huh ?) ...you are therefore forced to use a media viewer that allows you to resize and this has to be done for every one !

Analysis of the video, showed that the bitrate and size were pretty much the same also. It is clear, that recoding the source material using h264, cannot perform miracles - clearly the source material is low resolution !

To state they are HiDef, is deliberately misleading. I have joined many Hi Def sites...so I know what they look like !

Thirdly, all the images are very poor resolution and small size - they may as well be screencaps.

Fourthly, while searching for the DVD site that was alluded to in the review here made by a user last year, I clicked on a link in the members area saying " Full Access to DVDs Here !" and ended up being charged via what I have since learned is know as an "INSTANT UPSELL".

Instant Upselling means you are not taken to a credit card sign-up page to affirm that you expressely wish to pay to join this new site, rather, it is done automatically in the background, and the first you know of it, is when you receive an email saying you've joined a new site.

Fifth, I had no reply to emails complaining...and when I tried out the www.downloadporn.com site that I had been "joined to".....none of them are even downloadable. what an expensive irony !!!

The icing on the cake was when I went to cancel. There was a sort of *cross-sell* on the cancellation page. A box was ticked that would give me a 3-day trial to the site I was cancelling !!! Of course, if I then didn't cancel, I would be re-billed at some $40.

I am expecting my first ever *Do Not Trust* rating for this and have cancelled my credit card as I do not trust this company.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!! MegaSite.com , downloadporn.com and safebilling.com (same owners !)

(Note re: scoring - Had I not had the problems of misleading description and upsells - ie. had it been a standard, average quality site that I was aware of, it would be a very average site 3 years ago. For 2009, it is merely an avarage site, and even for $15, there are many, better sites out there)

I want to address a few of the issues you brought up in your review - the HD videos, emailing the owner, and the Upgrade.

We're in the process of upgrading our high-def videos, and unfortunately that means that some H264 encoded MP4 files are being used in place of the HD files while they're being processed. These files are not distorted - try using Quicktime or VLC player and they will work fine. The sites we have listed as "HD" or "Bonus", "Exclusive" etc... will be re-encoded first so if you're a member watch for those this weekend/next-week.

I'm not sure who you emailed but please email me directly and let me know how I can help. It sounds like there was a problem with your upgrade - it should have allowed you to download, and I can check/fix your login if you let me.

I'm sorry that the upgrade offer confused you on Megasitepass.com, we certainly were not attempting to trick you.

The membership you originally purchased did not include downloading full videos.

From your comment it sounds like you went to the DVD page, which displays an offer in large letters "FULL DVD ACCESS IS YOURS FOR JUST $X.XX PER MONTH", there are some details about what access is granted and below there is a large button that says "CLICK HERE FOR FULL DVD ACCESS"

When a customer clicks for "FULL DVD ACCESS" they are accepting our offer of enhanced access for an additional cost.

From your comment you didn't receive download access which is unfortunate and I can imagine quite frustrating!

Well, my review is based on what I've seen, not what may happen in the future. I have searched your entire site, and found not one video, in a bitrate higher than 1100 kbps.......very average even 3 years ago. It is frustrating......even infuriating, when so many of your 'sites', purport to be in Hi Def.......some at "1080p !"......when none are. Even the individual videos are labeled as such. But, they are not.

Most people have probably never heard of VLC, although I agree it is the best media player, and yes, I use it.
But..Many of the h264 videos have a size of 1400x426 (see my review for exact dimensions): this is unique.....I have NEVER seen this size before, and I need to "tell" VLC to auto-play in 4x3 for them to show properly. The problem with over-riding auto-sensing, is that if I then play a widescreen video, I need to manually change it back.....again !

As for Quicktime......Hmmm......no thanks!

Videos should be pretty standard...and if they were encoded correctly, they would run just fine in any media player.

Well, I emailed using the links and webmail to both the webmaster of the sites, and your card processing company. If you do not have the correct email links on your site...it begs a number of question...doesn't it ?

Also, I was not sent an email confirming my cancellation...nor was I ereplied to when I "queried" if my cancellation for both sites, had indeed been successful.

Now, this is where it gets very annoying for me. You see, the whole "upselling" thing for me, is very distasteful. It smacks of stealthy dishonesty...regardless of how you mean it to look. It should be banned...and it was not clear "what" I was getting if I clicked on the list. I have never payed for access to "streaming" so I wouldn't have agreed to pay more for streaming vids...I rest my case.

Well, which is it...you said above that my subscription "did not include access to downloadable videos".......???

I am sure that if you sort out the site, so it does "what it says on the tin"......someone from TheBestporn.com, may take another look at it and comment accordingly.

I am just so utterly confused by it all, it's time for me to move on.

I don't like upsells......they suck. You dare not click on any other link on the site, for fear of being charged again!

Being a member of a site, means you should feel free to explore......can you see why this may be ?

It's wrong.....very wrong.

Again - very sorry that you were disappointed by the temporary files and lack of responses. We are not disputing your review at all.

All that we ask is that people give honest reviews and post their experiences. It helps other users find/avoid sites and prompts webmasters to improve.

I just wanted to clarify that the files you don't like (I don't like them either) are in fact temporary and you caught us at a bad time. With our pants down maybe a little ;-)

Also someone should have replied to your emails. It looks like they went to our customer service provider, I'll follow up with them. There's no excuse for that and it's one of the reasons I publish my email on pornusers - as a backup. We don't want people to ever end up left out in the cold.

I do want to make sure that we have this clear about your downloadporn.com upgrade - it did not work properly. We were not attempting to deceive you in any way.

The upgrade was to grant you full download access like the text said. It's obvious now that this didn't happen the way it was supposed to. We would never charge anyone to upgrade from "streaming only" to "streaming only", that's as absurd as it sounds. You were supposed to get full-download access. Please email me, I'd like to at the very least fix your access.

Sorry your experience left you frustrated.
