so wrong is this, you shouldn't have to de-check anything, they shouldn't be allowed to do this, what a scummy trick to try and get more cash from people.

That really is lame. I don't understand their thinking. They might accidentally make a few extra bucks initially but they probably lose more money by turning customers off to the site.
