Danni's one of those "brand name" sites because it's been around for so long in its various stages and, from what I can tell, it was a "leader" in early internet softcore porn. (Anybody remember "Danni's Hard Drive?")
It doesn't need to be hardcore. There are plenty of sites for that. By the same token, I wouldn't review a hardcore site and say it should be more softcore. Both types have their own kind of appeal.
For me (not a "fan" but someone who has returned to it from time to time), it just doesn't often enough have the kind of softcore that I'm looking for. The jokes and the girl/girl stuff don't do it for me, but sometimes the solo stuff is just what I'm after. Once I've been away at least six months, there's usually enough of what I do like to reward my return (at the TBP price).
I would be great if they could remaster more of their older content in larger sizes (pics and vids). They seemed to be doing that for awhile, but it recently petered out. At least the more recent pics are usually at 2000px now.

didn`t wanted to "hurt" you as a danni fan :) but as you said..there is not much softcore as i want at the site. it`s not that kind of stuff i am interested in. but like everything it`s a question of taste, and beeing honest around 4 or 5 years ago danni was something quite good, but in my opinion, those days are gone.

I was a big Danni fan back when Danni ran the show. Technology wasn't as good as now but she was the leader of the pack at quality porn, honesty and having a really fun time, which added to the attraction.
When she sold the biz the quality slipped, they killed the chat room (it's back now), they stopped their superb support functions and totally fucked up how they handled DRM. They let that ruin what little quality they had remaining. And worse, it stopped being fun.
I was one pissed off guy back then, yet I did return once for a month. It happened to be when Shay Laren did a live webcast (Holy shit was that outstanding) so I asked if it would be preserved as a content offering. They said yes, so I stayed another month. Never was posted so I decided to pack it in.
I still resent their attitudes but I agree that the site has some great content. At $19.95, joining one month each year makes sense as a way to drain off all new content then move on.
