Hello Nadi,
Glad you like our site.
We still offer the "1 minute free" for users when their minutes gets below a certain threshold.
This allows us to keep offering minutes to those that need it, but stop users from collecting thousands of unpaid minutes.
We had some issues with abuse where people were creating multiple accounts and storing up over 1,000 minutes in each.
If you ever need anything, let us know. We are listening.

Videobox is limited in their content.
we have 150,000 movies - videobox 8,000
I think of it more as a price per pop.
the average user watches 10 minutes of video in a 'session'
.10 a minute, 10 minutes - $1
you would need to masturbate 20 times in a month to make a $20 a month site the same value.
35 times a month for a $35 site.
etc
For those that like the monthly price we do offer studio rentals. you can get all 2,000 of Vivid's movies for 30 bucks a month. still not as cheap as per minute on a price per pop basis, but if you are actually watching for the plot it could be a better value.

with hotmovies you only pay for what you watch. you aren't paying for a 'membership' and there is no reason to sign up more than once.
We have the largest library on the planet (130,000+ movies)
average consumer watches around 150 minutes a month (less than 20 bucks a month)

Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
I contacted my editorial department and they said that they have been re-releasing movies from 2003-2004 that they've been re-encoding with faster streaming, true scenes, and extra meta data.
They thought the video was changed enough to warrant another run through recently added.
I informed them that they shouldn't do that and we'll need to handle it a different way. We will be creating a new classification for re-released movies that will be available as a sidebar on the recently added page.
As for the premium titles there isn't much I can do about that. The studios demand the higher pricing to get the movies up as soon as possible. Usually the price per minute rate drops after a couple of months from street date.

We are constantly adding more data into our system. We'll continue to improve and add more stars names.
The older videos that come on VHS are what they are. I wish we could get higher quality masters on them, but the original masters rarely exist.
Studios like VCX and Video X Pix do supply some high quality classics if you're looking for them.
