hey there Luv_Lickn_Clit!

I'll address these one by one. :)

The limits on the server aren't set up that way, but that's an interesting idea. I think some might then call me out on it though, seems when someone doesn't get their way they go ballistic. Sucks, someone will break a term of service and then come here and post like they are innocent. Sigh.

Natural boobs -

We didn't start bella with intent of being real, fake, whatever. We simply added girls we knew and we have had some natural girls in the network. As it is now, Lexi Mason is natural (albeit not active though). if I find a hot girl I can shoot, i don't care if she is natural or not. Beauty is what it's all about.

Piracy re: zip sets

"BellaNetwork, I know its gotta be frustrating to see your content posted somewhere illegally, but this doesn't seem to be an issue for most websites."

I disagree fully on this. I can point out several trader forums, where the content that is posted most often is the content where the sites offer zip sets. We too offered zip sets once, and our content was quickly all over those trader sites. We stopped zip sets and our content theft went way down. I completely respect it'd be better with zips, I agree with you guys on this but the few bad apples *do* make a difference here. It's unfortunate, but we're not some monster company where we don't care about our content.

Some companies offer zips, knowing full well their content will get posted but they see it as huge advertising for free that way. If I had a model I didn't care about, i'd agree with this. Thing is, I do care about the Bella ladies.. they trust me to protect their image where I can, when I can. It's disgusting how many people steal things, post them, pretend to be the ladies in dating sites so they can scam men out of cash etc. All part of the biz, but sadly, yes, zip sites do add to piracy. Piracy can be a good thing, to a degree, but we like to limit it where/when we're able. Let's not forget this is how we all make our living.

I suspect those saying it's no big dela might feel very different if it was their content being stolen/posted. I know I sure changed my mind on the topic after seeing every. single. zip. set. posted a week after we launched. The 'site rips' in torrent land that are out there? Those are all from Feb 09 area when we went live. Since we tightened the screws on security - not the same problem any more. Thankfully.

Don't get me wrong, our content still gets posted - but not anywhere near like when we offered zip sets. Damn it. i wish it was different. :(

I'll be shooting exclusive girls down the road for Bella sites - and I am positive many will be natural.

Thanks for your reply though! Always good to get feedback!

Hey PP!

It's incredibly rare that there are any gaps in updates. We've been doing weekly updates for near 4 years now. Sometimes as few as two updates, sometimes as many as six. We did have a gap when we switched servers and systems a year or so back, that threw us for a loop for a few weeks but as noted, we caught up. :)

Some sites shoot 100 sets of a girl then the model disappears and they just pump out content, albeit old. We don't do that - we shoot frequently, sometimes as often as the week before an update depending what we're doing. Sure, sometimes we take trips and we might shoot a few more sets on vacation but never is it some huge amount of content.

We like to keep things current and as many a member has noted - Bryci is enthusiastic and loves doing her site. We have a blast most times.

There is always at least one or two people that break the terms (which is not easy to do) and then they try and call us out like we're bad guys when it was them that got their own account suspended. We're not Brazzers, we don't have 10+ servers or 24/7 tech support. We're two people, Bryci and myself. We do the best we can, and so far - so good. :)

Glad you enjoyed the site!

That is a fantastic review, thank you. Our DL limit is 12 gigs per day, we bumped that up last week and it's per 24 hours. So far it hasn't been an issue for anyone, as that is a decent amount of download. We are looking at doing away with it altogether to be honest.

We haven't as of yet because sadly, when you run a solo model site you find there are those that would join to mass download to post torrents etc. These ladies put themselves out there, so when someone steals their content and posts it, it's quite defeating to them. As such, we have limits and protection in place to try and slow this.

That is the reason we don't offer zipped photo sets as well. When we did offer them, our content was getting posted often. When we removed zips, it's as if we slowed piracy down considerably. Piracy is part of the industry, it can also be helpful at times but still, we'd prefer our content not all over. Sorry the zip thing was an issue.

Bryci started as NN in Feb 2009, went to nude in May 2009 area. Started using toys in April 2012. Hope that helps with the timeline. :)

The wishlist button is there because people have asked for it to be there. Many people love buying her things, dressing her up if you will. I completely understand you not wanting this.

If you notice in her site, you're not force fed advertisements either. Same thing, I hate signing up for a site and it's ad box after ad box. As if signing up wasn't enough, now they want to upsell you more. We created a separate site with friend's galleries as to not be counted towards Bryci's numbers like many sites do. They tell you they have X amount of images, but many if not most of those images are other models or 'friends'. In our sites, the numbers listed are for the model herself.

Thanks again for your review, sorry we couldn't bring it up 5 points by having zipped content. Best of luck in your travels!

You tried multiple times to email me did you? Why is it I don't have any of these emails? What is your email address so I can do a better search for it?

If I was this person that ignores things, would I be responding in here? I'm *very* visible online between Bella Forums, my twitter, email etc. I'm really easy to get hold of.

The locking out issue, is *automated*. I am not sure how many more ways I can say this. If you're locked out for passing the download limit, a timer starts. You're locked out and when the timer ends, you have access again.

If you mass download with one site, you're locked out of that site. If you move on to another site in the network and do the same thing again, you're locked out for longer. This is covered int he terms of service. This is done to deter people from abusing the server. Those that play by the rules, love this rule because it keeps the box moving quickly.

If CCbill refunded you when you'd mass downloaded, they made an error up and I will be contacting them regarding this. Do you think it's fair that you mass download, get suspended and then get all your money back? So you got things for free basically? Yeah, that sounds fair to the model.

You never emailed me or this would have been solved. if you submitted a ticket and Steve never replied to you, I am sorry that took place but I wish you'd have contacted me.

If the size wasn't over 9 gigs, then there was another issue at hand. It's not just a DL limit that can suspend a user. Before you say, no there wasn't another issue.. there clearly was or it wouldn't have removed it.

Getting to the bottom of what the issue was on the other hand should have been handled quickly and efficiently by Steve and I'm sorry that didn't take place.

If you still have your username from Bella - drop me an email with it please so I can look into this. I am not sure how far I can go back but perhaps I can shed light. Email me at james at bellanetwork dot com. Thanks Marcus.

I'm sorry you were so frustrated Marcus. If I replied asking you why you're emailing me because I am not tech support - I'm sorry for that blunt email. Must have caught me at an add moment of having too much on my plate but you deserved better service. I am sorry for that. I did have staff that were being paid to fix issues, but as I said, after going through things closer I can see areas they were failing repeatedly and that is unacceptable so they're no longer employed by Bella Network. I'm going to now reply to your other response.

You just admitted I did not call you a liar, and as I said, I didn't.

10 or so videos does not get you banned as I said, UNLESS the size of those videos pass 9 gig in a 24 hour period. I've already said this though.

Please do not assume things I say were directed towards you. If I have something to say to you, I will say it to you directly. That is how things get solved. :)

"Why is it when someone breaks the terms of service and the server removes them for abuse, they can never man up and admit they were in the wrong?"

I said this because it is TRUE. It is *incredibly* rare that anyone admits wrongdoing, but the server has data and shows what happened. It's math, it's not a personal vendetta to get Marcus or anyone else.

As I said, I had someone working for me, three someones to be specific but one in particular was heading my security dept as I am very busy shooting, creating, running things. It become clear to me from a few emails directed to me at james at bellanetwork dot com that this person (Steve) was not doing his job properly. I looked into things personally and fix a few issues. I spoke with him about things and I believed things were taken care of at the time.

Upon later review, it became clear that we weren't cut out to work together, so I let him go and I am personally overseeing all issues now. That does not in any way though mean every person that emails me gets back in the site.

I appreciate nobody likes to get locked out of a site and yes, mistakes can happen. Perhaps the ISP changes ips radically or the customer gets caught in an ip block that had nothing to do with them. Mistakes do happen, yes. Just as mistakes happen though, there are also some people that sign up with malicious intent. They plan on site ripping and posting our content etc. So when they get caught and they don't get a refund, they get angry. they post shitty messages. It happens. I've been in this game for 15 years, I have seen it with several networks including my own.

Now, this all said, I changed something in our security this morning after reading the responses here. First, I'd have responded earlier but again, i am busy and I didn't know this was being said or I'd have responded immediately as is what I strive for. Anyone that knows me will tell you I work a great deal for our members so they're happy.

I raised the DL limit to 12 gig per 24 hour period. If someone is suspended, they are locked out for 24 hours. This limit is higher than a lot of well known sites out there but I am hoping it shows that yes, I am listening and trying to make people happy.

Read the thread Marcus, I am not saying that at all.

If your ip changes, that happens and is not a big issue. Most systems don't lock out people on ip related issues until they reach 5 different ip addresses. Even then, upon logging in we can see if it's all you or someone else etc.

It is is easily unlocked and fixed, time added if warranted etc.

You NEVER EMAILED ME so saying I ignored your emails is false. CCbill emails if a customer contacts them, and just as when a customer emails us, we answer the email. If a customer was locked out for breaking a ToS, how is that our fault again?

Why do you keep saying our system is infallible? I never said this. Frankly your tone is one of assumption. Read the thread, many replying in this thread didn't even have a membership, they are merely replying to others.

Our system is automated for the most part security wise. If someone breaks rules, they get suspended. Last time I checked, very few people write in and say hey - I broke this rule, I'm sorry. Most claim they are innocent and when we reply with screen grabs and proof, odd ting happens - they disappear. They don't refute the data, they simply stop replying. Strange, I know.

Our system isn't perfect by any means - but it does work. I can promise you if you go to some of the largest sites out there and mass download, you'll reach a point they lock you out. This protects their server. Now should I write them and claim I downloaded nothing and I'm innocent? What do you think their response would be?

If I post that I didn't download anything in PU, does this make it true all of a sudden? -- pointing out that just because someone claims one thing, this does not make it the truth.

Mistake happen, yes. Data is kind of hard to fake though. Hard proof is exactly that, hard proof.

Those that write in and admit wrong doing, we assume it was a simple error and we reconnect them. We're not mighty rulers, lol, this is the internet. We get that people get excited and pass limits, it happens, we all move past it. It's the people that claim they're innocent and they didn't download a gig when the data shows them grabbing 23 gigs over 4 different addresses etc that we shake our heads at.

In the end Marcus, I am sorry you had issues with our site. If you and I had spoken, I suspect we'd know what happened immediately. The person I had working for me in the cs dept I have come to find was not very good at handling things, as such he has been removed.

The security is automated. Meaning, if you pass 9 gigs, it suspends you. If you don't, it doesn't. You can get angry and swear all you like, but it's automated, not personal.

If you were to write in, there are screen grabs we email back showing this. So again, it's not personal, there is hard data backing it up.

You posting that you're going looking for a Bryci torrent tells me you're one of those guys that believe stealing from models is not a big deal.

it is a big deal and people like you are why sites close. Do i take your reply serious? Kind of hard to when you openly acknowledge stealing from models via torrents.

"Yeah, it's a big problem when a webmaster calls customers liars instead of investigating the situation"

As I replied to Marcus. I never called anyone a liar.

The issue you had with Twistys, virtually all sites with security have this issue. I have had it with our sites and as with twistys, it is always resolved and time is added to the customer's account.

If you ran a server yourself or dealt with the influx of people we do, you'd see no two issues are alike. One day we might have someone that can't connect and it's as simple as he mistyped his user/pass and clicked remember user/pass so when he tried to enter - it was with the wrong credentials. So then the security would step in and stop him after a few failed attempts, banning him from trying again for 15 minutes because it thinks he's a bot. (sites get hammered by bots)

So then this guy gets mad, goes and posts on a board and who's fault was it? Well, if he's read a different review from someone else that got nabbed for site ripping (that of course, won't admit it but the data and screen grabs we have shows this) then all of asudden - I'm the bad guy again.

Some issues are simple, some are not as simple but we are not tech support for the user and his/her knowledge on how they type things in. We are tech support fore the site. We do try and fix issues and we try and be helpful but depending on the day someone is having, they either articulate their issue so we can fix it fast, or they send in 3 words like "site doesn't work" and expect us to be a mind reader.

In short, we do try and help our customers. I recently fired the person that was handling things, now it's 100% me doing it.

I should check this thread more often, I'd have replied sooner.

Putting words in someone's mouth is never a good thing. I did not call you a liar. If you downloaded ten videos, that doesn't get your account suspended, unless the total size of those videos passes 9 gig in a 24 hour window. This is written in the terms of service before you sign up for the site, they are listed.

As for your comment that I wouldn't entertain a notion etc.

That is false. I can see your account immediately upon researching it and yes, your ips are listed. If you have multiple ip addresses from different locations, the system can at times flag your account for follow up so we can see what's up. Most people with dsl have ip accounts that change, they don't get suspended.

When someone has a connection issue, we look at their ips first. Then we check if they are actually suspended or if someone else was suspended near them and it grabbed them too (like the twisty's issue mentioned on this page, that happens as well). Then we look at their page loads versus hit count to see if the software that stops people for site ripping suspended them. In short, we look at all factors.

It is never about what the customer says happened, it is about what the data tells us happened. I hate to say it but some people don't always tell the truth. They do something bad, then claim innocence. I am not saying you did this, or others in this thread did this. Problem is, all you're seeing here are the people with issues. You're not seeing the 99% that have no issues. They're not posting because they don't have issues. Six testimonials here.

As for customer service stand point, all I can do there is apologize. We did have some staff working with us that has since been let go. In late December I removed Steve, the person that was handling the security side. It is 100% just me doing things. As such, I go through every single user's site issues and solve them as they come up. In the instances where someone has been suspended when they shouldn't have been, time is added to their memberships. I am sorry you felt you were treated poorly, I appreciate that you signed up and I am sorry you had issues with the service.

Again, the terms are posted before you sign up. if you join and then break a rule right away, do you really have the right to complain that *you* broke the rules? This doesn't make sense to me in the least.

People can download content and they do, daily, without issue. So what's the problem again? The only people that have issues are those that thought because they bought a membership they can now mass download or site rip, give their friend their user/pass etc. We have security, it is automated, it stops bad guys. Pretty simple.

As for your 'difficult concept' comment - reading should also not be a difficult concept. (the rules are posted before someone signs up.)

If we had no limits or rules, what do you think happens? I can tell you because I have been a webmaster for over 15 years. Sites go under. If you were a member of a site that was running like a snail at all times because it was getting hammered by site ripping software etc and nothing was being done - how many people would cancel? Most if not all.

Rules are needed to keep the bad guys out and the good guys happy.

I really wish when someone left a comment they knew what they were talking about. When someone is suspended for mass downloading, they are not removed for a week. They are suspended for 48 hours and it's automated. As in, it has zero to do with a human. the server does this, and then counts down to releasing the hold.

As for your "pretty easy to do" comment, then why does hardly anyone ever do it? On average there are two people per month that get suspended. 99% of members have zero issues, ever. If someone mass downloads, gets caught, of course they're going to cry foul and leave poor reviews.

Thing they seem to forget easily, is that THEY got THEIR account suspended. How is this our fault again? It's like going to a restaurant, if you act appropriately there is never an issue but if you start doing something you're not supposed to do, you'll be escorted out.

In our terms of service, we have a 10 gig per day limit. It doesn't matter where you live. If you attempt a site rip or site download, mass download etc, the server alerts us to this.

It compares your pattern of downloading with literally all other members and puts you in a priority according to the amount of requests made, page loads etc. Software that rips sites leaves a very distinctive footprint, regardless of the software or method used. The server will stop people doing this, and yeah, it's in Terms of service so if you attempt a site rip, you'd be banned. Sorry.

My job is to make sure the box is moving quickly for all members so when one abuses the box with mass requests because they're site ripping.. it slows down the box for all members who trying to access normally.

So if you download normally, you're good to go. I'd hope as a potential member, you'd appreciate we do this. We keep the box moving quickly. Means everyone is happy and people out to slow us down, don't succeed.

We're having a blast, hopefully this answers your questions but if not, feel free to email me personally. james@bellanetwork.com

Cheers!

- James

Incorrect. We close accounts when a user breaks the terms of service that they agree to *before* signing up. 1.5 gig you claim? That is false. The daily limit is 9 gig and 99.9% have no issues following this.

I don't know who you are but if your account was closed, YOU did something for this to happen. I say this because the server takes action against people based upon set rules. Again, 99.9% of people don't have their accounts shut down, and they are in daily.

Not sure who you are or what you did but you didn't email me so don't lie in here and claim I didn't respond to you. I own/run the network and you never emailed me.

This review is old, but Bryci is still active, incredibly active.

14624 High Resolution Photos, 263 Videos so far. Bryci is softcore but she does push limits as seen by members. The images are very close up, and in her webcam shows, she goes a little further.

We don't offer zips for download, nor will we ever because of content traders stealing and posting content. the programs offering zips seem to be posted more then those not posting zips. Less then 1% have ever complained. I wish we could offer them for sure, but we can't. Sorry guys!

This is incorrect and a perfect example of how a user can interpret something one way, but it doesn't mean it's correct.

We have no masturbation rules. The girls make their own rules so if One model doesn't use toys, that's because *she* made that choice. Talia as the example mentioned, has many videos, photo sets with toys, masturbation, dirty talk. Her site currently as of today has 5947 High Resolution Photos, 86 Videos. She is active, and continues to shoot new content. Hope this helped.

This was an old comment from PinkPather so I'll touch on the things, so it's all up to date. :)

The site within BellaPass - Bryci.com, KatieBanks.com, TaliaShepard.com, KissKara.com, AvaDawn.com, MonroeLee.com

The network has over 35,000 images, over 700 videos.

We have no rule against masturbation or toys. Talia as an example does dual penetration in many of her videos, photo sets. All of Talia's old photo sets, videos, cam shows are in her site. Talia got a boob job because she wanted one, she posted a youtube video about this as well.

Membership is $27.95 for access to all. There are thousands of sample images at bellagals.com

Ava is not active, she was a paid model from day one. I paid her to shoot, she shot, her career was too busy to allow her to be active. This was her choice. Monroe was active but I had to let her go in January 2011 for personal reasons.

Ava and Monroe's site are archived sites but with four active ladies, with 20+ weekly updates, plus access to the Babe Chat webcam network, for $27.95, we feel it's a good deal.

10 or so videos does not get you banned Marcus. Why is it when someone breaks the terms of service and the server removes them for abuse, they can never man up and admit they were in the wrong? Before you join the terms of service are listed. You agree to these *before you join*. It clearly lists the limits (10gig per day) and if you perform or attempt a site rip, the server removes you. Of course you say otherwise, granted, but if you were a good member, you'd be on the inside still wouldn't you be? The server took action against you, sorry it felt it needed to.

My advice to you is to read terms of service before joining a site and do your best to follow those terms. We have many members that have been with us for three years straight now without issue. They don't try and download the site in one afternoon. :)
