As many of you know, VideoBox has rolled out a few new features and we have many more wonderful surprises lined up and on their way. But we hit a snag in our recent release, and we recognize it’s thrown you for a loop.
We have something “evolutionary” on the horizon, and were all ready to roll this new paradigm shift out last week. We found some issues that made us think twice about it’s maturity and readiness. Part of this involved replacing and evolving the ‘mouse-over’ effects you see on scene pages. While we held back the big change, the removal of the mouse-over went live, and nobody told you. Our statistics indicate it’s not a highly used feature, but those of you who do use it let us know that you were surprised to see it disappear.
We’re sorry. It’s not our intention or game plan to change functionality without advising you when it changed. This one slipped through earlier than expected.
Let me emphatically assure you that we have features coming out shortly that’ll replace that in ways that’ll rock your world, and you’ll consider the old mouse-over as having been antiquated and outdated.
Yet for the time being, they’ve disappeared, and we’ve left you hanging. Perhaps literally.
Again, we apologize for any confusion or frustration. It was not intentional, it’s certainly not permanent, and in the coming weeks you’ll see new capabilities that’ll raise the bar and make your VB experience top notch and industry leading.

Well, I wouldn't hesitate to re-subscribe but will wait a while until they have the updates to make it worth my while. The Price is certainly right. However, you won't go wrong with VideoBox either except that they cost a touch more a month. If you are a member already it wouldn't make much sense anyway because Porn.com carries largely the same contents. I would estimate 75-80 percent.

Hi uscue. The way the site was set up last time I subscribed made it quite easy to cancel. However, I never did get an acknowledgment of cancellation but was never re-charged either.

American Vice has "a series with midgets and some deformed guy". That's what I would call a really specialized niche. Personally, I prefer regular boy-girl videos, or even girl-girl videos, to watching a midget or some deformed guy.

All i can give you is my honest personal experience with the site. For many users it 'might' be a painless experience and have many pleasurable hours surfing but for me in the end it had a sting in the tail.
I always triple check everything on web sites because i know some cross sales are pre-checked (and some don't even appear to be cross sales @ 1st glance). Likewise I read the fine print at the bottom and the contract i am entering in to.
My bank told me it was affiliates of manstermed.com who took my money and these were web sites are not even connected to porn. I didn't use a credit card during this transaction hence why i said you should in order to cover yourself.
This all happened AFTER i left the site. Like i said in the review, during the time as a member everything was rosey. But once i left i got shafted and they didn't want to know.
I can't give a good review for a web site (despite the quality of the site generally being good) when they have stole a large sum of money from me, defies logic.
I'm probably giving mixed messages and if so im sorry. I guess the moral of the story is keen an eye for any unusual transactions on your bank balance and oh.... take heed of peoples reviews :-)

For now, we keep it general to be safe. This might change down the road, but the whole process is still fairly new and we need to get professional advice before we start providing more info.
In general though, I think most get the message that if we don't do business with a specific company then we aren't endorsing them.

Yeah, I've always thought they were clearly marked as premium channel upgrades.
My question to Denner is are they trying to trick users into the upsell? I'm interpreting his comment that users are billed if they attempt to download a video from the members area without a join (upsell) confirmation. But maybe I'm wrong in reading that.
On the Videobox join page, it's very clear that the channels are upgrades. We're still looking into this further, but I've never seen any shady billing practices from them.

In that case, fair enough. I don't remember what the tour page looks like. I think my inspiration to join was based off of a purchase of an individual video on clips4sale.
in any event, im sorry if my exuberence for the site was over the top. I have nothing to do with the site other than having been a subscriber for 25 days, so i would feel guilty if i was reflecting poorly on their operation.

I've been a member for about 9 months now, and they've had more tech problems in the past month than they had in the 6 before that, especially with the Live shows. Hell, one day their hosting company got hit by a DDoS attack and it took out the entire website for 4 hours.

I wasn't sure about some of the other sites because I was only interested in Spring, Katie and BoB. I'm not disapointed in this one but I suspect that it will be years before I join again or if I ever.

$10 off and it's still almost 40 bucks! What a joke! I made the mistake of joining this site a while ago and while I did find some good scenes I haven't seen elsewhere I would never recommend any body fork over 40-50 dollars for this site.
I can't figure out why they still charge so much for this site.

Thanks, uscue, it's always nice to know it isn't just you complaining about something like speed! :-) And that's what I am doing too now, I pause for a couple of minutes and then let it run but I find that sooner or later it's used up whatever it has stored and I have to pause once again. So, until speeds improve I basically download without my usual preview through streaming.
