Most recent scenes are available in 5 minute segments. I can't tell you the exact date when they switched but maybe it was about a month ago when they launched the new Members Area layout. Older scenes are still available in 2 minute segments, not 1 as you suggested.
Bangbros Network is currently transitioning into a new Members Area layout. Like they did last time, both the new and old layouts are still available. Even though, the short segment downloads are available in both layouts.
The new layout calls them 2-5 minute segments (I guess it's to cope with the fact they've changed the segment length for new scenes but haven't updated the segments from old ones). Old layout still calls them 2 minute segments, despite the new ones are 5 minutes.
Both layouts still offer all scenes chopped in 4 parts.

I haven't bought credits here in a long, long time. They've recently added this tipping feature and I've watched a couple pornstars attempting free shows that had video issues, like constant stutter or lag, probably due to the high amount of people attending them.
Don't remember having any issues of extra billing apart from what I mentioned in my 2009 review about the amateur video subscription. Not sure if it was partially my fault. Just double check everything on the subscribe page.

Brandi was either bought out by or originally funded by Bang Bros. Dancing and Kobe were affiliated with Muffia (same people as "It's Real") Muffia dropped Kobe over suddenly stopping updates. Perhaps BB developed Kobe and DB but I doubt it - the style is way different. BB content is very homogeneous (just think Ramon in Bang Bus and Monsters of Cock, etc.) I don't see the styles as at all similar, just my two cents.
On the combination of the trio idea, I agree; in fact I would pay full price to have those three together along with the CFNM one they have developed very recently (cfnm show) IF I could download them. I refuse to join non-downloadable sites.
If you really need some Kobe, do a google search of free clips and download those - or if those are gone (I suspect as much) just bookmark the page link to their company and play the streaming clips.
In my perfect world All Japanese Pass would buy out and exhibit Kobe, Bang Bros would include Brandi and Party Hardcore would buy out DB and list that among its 17 or so sites.
Or perhaps some smart Porn producer will steal the thunder from these nincompoop businesspeople and put together something like what you mentioned, and do it RIGHT.

The search is a nice addition, though you still need to check individual sites for updates.
One note is that although they claim their content is HD, there are very few videos in HD (I found about 5 to 10 max). Rest of content is 640x360 or so. If they re-encode their content at higher sizes it might be worth checking out, but without that it's not worth the steep price.
Customer service was very good though.

Just to clarify, TBP reviewed the site about 6 months ago when there were only 20 or so BJ scenes and just a few full sex scenes. The price at that time was $14.95. It has since grown considerably and the site could no longer sustain itself due to the large increase in bandwidth. The price of membership just recently increased to $19.95 for this reason.

I was just referring to this part of your response. I do agree that PU and TBP are accurate, but I thought that dancingbear really did start offering downloads since they changed the language indicating that they do now offer downloads. Before it just said "watch the video" now says download. This combined with the fact that bangbros (which I've never had problems with)owns that site led me to trust them. Well the good news is that I only lost $1 with trial. I almost went for the full membership.

Please go to www.dancingbear.com and scroll down to where they have all the individual video scenes "updates" listed. You will clearly see where it says "Watch or download this video" on each and every update, or just click on the latest updates and again it clearly states "Watch or download this video" on every video. I don't see how you missed that? Please respond back after you confirm this.

Flashers has light mosaics on both the men and the women. I checked out the other sites and some have a few videos without the mosaic. Very few. From the previews I also expected a few uncensored videos, but not on this site.

I appreciate the words of encouragement. I will try to do fair reviews and will keep your comments in mind when I do another review. This site really did stand out for me as being one of the best within the niche even with the cancellation inconvenience.

I'll be brief by simply echoing the sentiments of RB. Further, I've been a member of SkinVideo for a long time and I ,too, at times had minor complaints... but they were settled in a timely manner.
They have a direct telephone line should you want to go that route.

I'd always gotten quick responses from them when there was a problem - and I certainly never had access blocked for any time I had coming to me. I hope you just fell through the cracks somehow, cuz I like going back there every once in a while and I (of course) don't want to have to play those games.

Also, Be aware that this site actually recycles updates, has been re-using updates from the previous year as new updates.
Shame really since the content was pretty good, shame there is no new productions.

The problem actually sorted itself out. I dont have a membership anymore so I cant tell you if this is a issue the site has often but during my 1 month membership I had maybe 3 or 4 times when speeds were bad but went back to fast the next day.

We've had different experiences on this then. The memberships I've had are 30 days. My Reality Kings membership in December 09, according to my receipts started on December 17th, ended on January 16. Viv Thomas Video joined on January 12th, ended on February 11th. It's not that big of a deal as far as cost goes, but it's just the point if sites are doing this will all customers that could add up to a nice chunk of money.

Am glad to say it looks like today they brought Quick Preview back. Finally. All the other new features they created are great (like the new custom clips and ability to share your custom clips with the network), but at the end of the day Quick Preview was an important feature that I'm guessing the research they did previously gave them a wrong impression on how much it was used/liked.
