how did you finally get rid of it?
I've allready cancelled 2 websites, but I don't know if the PureWebpower one is cancelled. He automatically gave me a subscription to two websites which was hard to undo because I did not get a mail where to undo it.
If you cancelled on purewebpower.com will the first site you paid for stopped? Or will I be billed also the next month?
thx (it's really a pain in the ...)

They've always had a problem with download managers. The issue is that the download links on any given page expires after a certain amount of time (last I checked it was 10 minutes). So if you try to download a file after that time, it comes up either not found or forbidden. To get around this, what you want to do is download a little bit of each file, then pause it, then let your download manager take over.

I haven't used a download manager in years so my speed judgements are always based on using IE or Firefox only. I do not download all the content from a site but instead I pick and choose what I like.
I've yet to find one site that required me to download all the time to do that.

I've noticed some pretty slow speeds off and on for the past few days. But it seems to be fixed, and it hadn't been a problem until the past few days. I was (and am) consistently getting speeds over 1MB/s. Never had a problem accessing the site though. Since I know cancellations don't take effect until the end of your billing cycle, why don't you try again this weekend.

I've been enjoying my Naughty America membership - as much for the live shows as anything else. I checked out the speed issue with mixed results.
I tried downloading the new Anna Marie Rios vid - didn't work at all - errored out. I tried downloading the Charmane Star vid that was released yesterday - not using a download manager, it's coming through at 515-525 kb/sec. I can't complain about that.

The download limit is 3 Gigs a day NOT 2, which is more than enough for 99% of my members. And yes, you do get what you pay for. I'll be very happy to lift the limit but then I'll have to charge you extra to cover the bandwidth that a small minority will abuse by sucking up the entire content with the use of download managers and essentially pay only for a generous $7 for 7 days trial to steal everything from the site. I think I'll keep it as it is, thank you:)

OK, tried an experiment last night and used a different DVD player. The VideosZ AVI files played fine, fast-forwarded and everything just perfectly.
But it's still weird, because every other AVI file I have plays on my other deck. That includes files from Videobox, and literally dozens of other pay sites. And also every bittorrent AVI file I've downloaded. On rare occasions, I'll get a bad file, but 99% play fine.
So, it's highly questionable whether I want to use a separate DVD player just to play VideosZ. What a pain.
Anyway, it's nice to have finally isolated the problem.

You know, you're probably right. My dvd player is an expensive Oppo. It works great for all other AVI files, so it's really weird it doesn't work with Videosz, but I'll try a different deck tonight. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Videosz files used to have DRM. I really like Videosz, I think it's better than Videobox in many ways, hope I can get it to work.

We offer 5 viewing speeds and no download limits, not mention the wide variety of niches and content. We also offer new movies added daily.
I had no trouble downloading full episodes within a few minutes. What type of connection do you have? Anything less than a 300 kbps connection will have difficulty buffering the larger and higher definition movie files.
As for pricing we offer a $3.95 trial, and a $24.95 monthly membership which includes access to all content and as I mentioned before no DRM.

I just looked at the sign up page and found this:
"Your credit card will be charged immediately after your order by the name isupportgateway.com 661-621-9701."
I would give that site a try. But keep in mind when you try to find your account that the reason you have no email from them is you may have mistype your email address. After all, they only have you type it once with retype for verification and all of us screw it up form time to time. So search using your username and password if that is an option, or your credit card number.
If this site turns up nothing give them a call, this usually works better anyway. Also, do check out the sign up page because I did see several other sites listed. e-support24.com, EuroRevenue.com

My point was that a billing company can make errors with no help from the site and the site would likely never know about, unless of course you emailed them about it.
Not responding to your messages is a whole different issue and lays directly on the site's lap.
Since you are not on a trial I would say you can breath a little relief since you have a little more time figure it out. Also, do take a deep breath, if you signed up yesterday they have not even had a chance to ignore you yet. If they are slow responding to you, more often than not, just keep sending them reminders everyday. Eventually they will get sick of you and will do something about it.
Anyway, I would suggest going to the site's home page and so through the sign up process again just like you did last time. Obviously do not give them your credit card information. But there is a good chance that the page that asks for that information will also display who the billing company is.

That is interesting. You should be able to tell from your credit card statement who the billing company is based off the date and amount billed. This is of course assuming that you are not on a two day trial or something where timing is very important.
The trouble here is that you may be placing undue blame on the site itself. A site has little control over the credit card processor's actions. If they screw something up the site will never know about. Your beef is actually with the billing company. It is good to always make sure a few minutes after joining that you at least get an email with the sign up information, otherwise make a spreadsheet with all your sign up details for reference. Which of course can be hard if you do not know who the billing processor ended up being, but it usually says this on the page where you put in your credit card information.

The preview shows only 6 videos. The other negative I saw in the preview was describing the videos as high quality 320x240. This is ridiculously poor quality. Thanks for your advice regarding the quantity.
