Excellent review and very fair, in my opinion. I shall be reviewing this site myself in a few weeks as I have been joining it every few months for about 12 years. I promise not to re-read your review when I do but I may well make many of the same observations! I definitely agree with the score too.
One thing I would ask you to consider is your comment regarding insufficient ethnic content. I believe this is by definite policy. ATK have a separate site, ATK Exotics which is exclusively for its ethnic content and they deliberately do not mirror that content on their other sites.

Wow, I was a member at BangBros a few years ago, and there wasn't any of this crap going on! As I remember it, it was a network with about a dozen sites--I joined for one, and then found good content on several of the others. I thought it was a great value. But similar content can be found at many other sites. How pathetic that they now resort to such shady practices!

This kind of crap could be the beginning of the end. I was a member here a while back and I signed up for two of the add-on sites. I didn't have a problem cancelling then, but if it wasn't for the comments here I probably wouldn't have discovered that the add-ons need to be cancelled separately from the main membership. That is counter-intuitive (and more than just a bit shady) given that the add-ons I added were actual company sites.
Fucking me over on a payment or cancellation is probably the quickest way to ensure that a website never gets another dime from me - and thanks to sites like PU we can share that information.
Based on this and other comments, my chances of every taking another membership to Bangbros is zero unless I see good evidence that they've changed their ways and treat customers with respect.

I've got no problem with upsells so long as the website is up-front and honest about it, and doesn't try and trick members. I don't have as much of an issue with pre-checked cross sells as other members here, but this is beyond the pale in my opinion, and I'd never give a website that's basically disguising the cross sells the time of day.
The fact it doesn't even say "you're about to do this, and it will add $X onto your membership" is absolutely incredulous.
I appreciate times are tough for the porn industry, but alienating the people joining the sites is not the way to go about business. While times are tough for the industry, they're also tough for consumers and trying to pick-pocket members is nothing short of shady and I'd never entertain websites who use such underhanded techniques.

I really hope someone writes an up-to-date review for Bang Bros, as with this comment, the comment by messmer and also by whowho, 85/100 seems grossly generous now!

Did you see my correction to the comment above yet. Not likely because I just put it in a couple of minutes ago. It looks as if you cancel your present subscription and then re-subscribe at a later date you will get the reduced price of $ 14.95 not only for ONE month, but recurring. I am delighted and will join in a moment!

I don't know if this will help much, but if you look back through the comments, I had some problems canceling addons with BangBros too. Where my problem was, on the drop-down menu, when canceling, there was a second option listed also as Bang Bros. Probably would be easier to explain by showing an example.
The site at hazesupport asked for username and password. I put those in and a box came up with the words "BangBros - canceled". I didn't realize if I clicked the box again, it showed a second "BangBros" which was actually the Super Pack addon and it was listed as "BangBros - Recurring". I clicked it and it let me cancel from there.
I won't guarantee that will help, but it's worth trying. Everything I saw from that last membership makes me believe all cancels are done through the hazesupport site.

I enjoyed reading your take on this network. As a recent first time subscriber to this site and a photo fan myself I can't really disagree with anything you wrote, the quality of the photography is some of the best I've seen. My only minor issues with the site were billing related.

Hi Bubba, good review. I would expect that Denys would have high photographic standards for his network, as he was a first rate photog for the big UK porn magazines back in the day when we got most of our porn from mags. But I don't consider 2000 pixel to be high end--are you sure you got that right? If you're counting hairs its probably more. Met-Art is publishing some photo sets with 39 megapixel images--thats 5400 by 7200 pixels, and over 500 megs per photo set. Its kinda overkill, but it does allow you to crop the photo (say for example to get a good pussy close-up), and still get a good image if you want.

I think you should have info on the overall quality of the pics and videos. ie: resolution, bit rate and what not. Your review is the most recent one so any info you give is going to be more relevant than anything else.

Let me first say that I hope you don't think that I want to pick a fight with you. I enjoy your reviews. I just tend to target anyone who gives a near perfect score but doesn't put a lot of info in the review.
I respect the reasons you gave for your score but I just find that giving a site a near perfect score without corroborating facts makes the review less relevant than it probably deserves. Some people will look at your review and see an extremely high score but then read very little information to justify that score. You are honest about being biased and that is a credit to you but someone reading your review may decide that the score is too high for what was written and pass on what might have been a really good site. I know that I am always leery of any review with a high score and no infoto go along with the score. We all have some sites that we think are as perfect as they can be and we gladly give them a high score. I just try to add as much information as possible to justify that score and maybe help bring traffic to that site.

I respect your score and the reason why you gave it. I guess this is your first time but you if you do comeback then you may not find that your score remains the same. DDF used to be one of the best networks but that was many years ago. These days they are but a mere shadow of their old self. I don't think they still do that but it was common for them to use the content from one site to update another site. They were subtle about it. They would remove older content and then after a little while it would appear on another site.
They don't update as often as they used to and that has also been for quite some time. They also started using leased material which was a new thing for them. Greta if you are unaware of that material but not so much when you already have it. I think that it's is an amazing network for a first timer but a past member might not think so. I know I don't and I'm a past member.
I think your review could definetely use a lot more data in the pro section.

Download limits are always suspicious to me. On the one hand I can see where a solo artist may do this just to try to keep people around an extra month. I mean, c'mon, a girl's gotta make a living and you kind of expect it from the sex trade industry. But then there's those sites that just look low-rent and shady, and I think you have found a great example of this.

Perhaps what they would gain by making it easier would be a higher recommendation. If a site irritates the hell out of me, I am not going to stay or rejoin in a hurry. I would just cherry pick for the one and only month they would ever get from me. If it has not much content but they make it easy to get, I still only stay a month but would score higher and maybe return if they have added decent new content.

I agree with Monahan. You have put considerable effort into providing full detail of a poor site and have made it clear why it deserves the lowest possible rating. Well done and thank you.
As for why sites make it difficult to download, it beats me why they think that will make us stay longer just to get all their "wonderful" content.

I do appreciate that a lot of people do like that, but provided it is a slow strip, in the correct order for you, you will get there.
For me, full nudity is a prerequisite about 2/3rds of the way through.
