And even worse, some sites are restricted until 3rd month. I got like half of the ones I really wanted when I joined. Well, I guess when the price goes down to 9.95$ a month, I'm not leaving immediately.

On numerous occasions I've thought about joining Club Seventeen but that price is more than a little outrageous. It is probably one of the most expensive sites out there.
While I feel certain I'd enjoy the content, download speeds are important for me as are zip files for picture sets. I've heard there were no zips on a couple of occasions and that the download speeds were sketchy at best.
I've also heard that a lot of the material is old and that all the sets look similar in their colorful backdrops and or decor. Until they come down on that price, I will simply have to wonder what I am missing. At just under $40.00 American currency, purveyors can get two memberships elsewhere for the same price and that trumps all.
I would still like to know more about their downlaod speeds tho ... and how often they update.

Hey nymano, good review,
I think the main reason this site gets low scores (or at least why I gave it a low score) is poor navigation and no zips of photo sets. Also, when I was a member you only got access to "samples" of DVDs - not the full scenes.
I just found it irritating to save each photo one at a time, and since there were next to no videos at the time I was a member, the site was kind of worthless to me.
Obviously some things have changed, perhaps it has gotten better? Do they have zips of photosets now? Can you search by model in the DVDs?

Thank you very much for your review, and we are certainly happy to see that you like our site. We also appreciate comparison of quality of our videos with Blu-Ray.
There is minor point in your review which we would like to comment on. While it is not too important, though we still feel that we should try to clarify it. Game simulator on our site is not Flash-based, it is JavaScript-based. It doesn't change much in practical terms, except that (unlike Flash) our JavaScript-based simulator is capable of working on Apple devices like iPod/iPhone/iPad.
On the other hand, we admit that this point is quite minor and want to thank you once again for this review.

What does "no action" in your con list mean? The emphasis is on "softcore" but Twistys has a lot of hardcore "action" available in both its photo and video offerings.

Regarding your con "Private videos are old": Isn't it funny how our pros and cons can be so opposite? The old Private videos are exactly what I like to see. The new ones look like videos from everyone else ;)

I've commented on the sloppiness of model identification and on the lousy search function in previous reviews. Unfortunately both aspects have gotten worse despite promises by the webmaster to correct the problem.
This failure is a real shame because the site is, by far, the richest site on the web with an unimaginably huge amount of content growing at the rate of 1800+ DVD's per year.
Without a decent model identification process and with a less than adequate search capability, it's virtually impossible to find all the scenes containing a specific model.
