I have not been a member since they released the HD formate. I was there when they had I believe 3 MBit video, it might have been 2 though, not sure off hand. But I have seen a few places already with 8 MBit video. The look absolutely stunning, even at full screen on a 1600x1200 monitor. The only issue with these, after they are downloaded anyway, is that they take a lot of system resources to play. Forget about multitasking if you are playing one of these unless you have a hell of a machine. The videos end up starting a bit jittery for me, but even up after a few seconds and skipping around the video takes a little time too. Granted the computer I was using is not the fastest out there now, but it does pretty well. If you have the ability to download that large of a file by all means do it, you wont regret it once it has finished a week later for those of you still cursed with dial up. :)
Oh yes, back the file up on dvd if you can, the last thing you want is for the file that took 3 hours even on a 3 MBit/s connection to corrupt and have to redownload it!

I download this entire is about 6-8 months ago and I was blowing well over 15 GB per day. I was actually very close to 20 GB per hour honestly! Perhaps I got lucky?
Those bit rates are not unheard of. I actually have some videos at that rate. But none the less that is exciting because I have been considering rejoining. i might have to bump them up on my schedule!

Firstly, yeah, *generally speaking* the updates come in pairs of updates for couples (each the reverse role of the other in terms of recipient) or if it's a threeway then there tends to be 3 updates, where each girl has her turn at being the recipient of the other two. They tend to be not very long - although there are some that go up as long as 11 minutes, but these are in the minority. The shortest one I have is 2mins 11 secs, again in the minority. I'll amend my average to maybe 8 minutes (but that's a best guess - don't expect me to go through my entire collection and work out the exact average, please, I don't want to get pedantic).
Bitrate seems to be mainly 521kbps/320x240. There are also a handful (on my hard drive at least) that are twice this (1060kbps/640x480). This surprised me when I checked this just now, so I played a couple to get a fresh idea of how they look, compared to the many other vids I have. And, very importantly, they *look* much lower res than the stats would suggest. One possible reason is that they've come from a lo-res source - or possibly that the conversion software is substandard. This, of course, is pure conjecture, I can only speak objectively about how they physically look when played. And they do look quite low res and grainy - although, as I said in my review - still watchable.
Your final question about orgasms - in all honesty, I'm not convinced that most of the orgasms portrayed here are genuine. As with most sites, there's little or no evidence of real white 'girl goo' to be seen (the only definitive proof of female orgasm really). But at the same time, the girls don't 'overact' and do seem to be really having a great time together, and most of the climaxes - whether real or not - are the result of anal stimulation principally, and sometimes, but not always, aided by vaginal stimulation simultaneously. The emphasis is definitely on tongue to ass. And the camera is good at getting that shot - after all, it's the whole point of the site.

The context I was writing in, was one of someone who appreciates good porn (as I see it of course - we can only speak for ourselves). I like to review music also. The fact that I don't consider porn or music to have the same importance as world politics (and clearly they don't!) does not mean I therefore paid little care to my review.
I happily corrected the mistake that you quite rightly pointed out. But everyone makes mistakes. Don't use my honesty in admitting that one error as a stick to beat me with, regarding my reviews in general!
As for that voice - I didn't say it was yours. Are you saying that you are the guy whose voice is on there? Why is it relevant whether I would consider it to be alto or bass or whatever? The only issue I had was that it *sounds* gay. I know the guy (you?) is NOT gay. I didn't use the term 'gay' as an insult either (I have no interest in homophobia, and find homophobics to be pathetic) - and I know you didn't accuse me of that, but I think it's important to clarify the point. But I still don't like to hear male voices - or worse still, gay-sounding male voices - in my porn videos.
I think it was valid to mention this in my review - I know from reading many other porn reviews in the past, that a dislike of male voices in all-girl porn films is not unique to me, so is a point of interest to potential subscribers.

If you think this was a negative review - you should hear my opinion on many sites that Porn Users don't feature. Three weeks ago I joined FTVgirls again for the second time. The last time I was a member, back in 2003, I thought FTVgirls was a good site. My opinion has since changed. I must agree with the review put forth by PosterDude. His review is thorough and accurate, and apparently others agree with his review based on the comments that follow. Your opinion and fierce defense of FTV girls appears heavily biased and suspicious. For you to say that FTV girls is a good site only serves to demonstrate that you do not know what else is out there, or at the very least, you do not care about receiving value for your money. With all the talk about FTVgirls and HD video I was expecting much more. There is very little HD video on this site when compared to many other sites. You are accurate in that their video files are extremely large, but they place download limits on what a member can download. That is inexcusable. Moreover, this site does not update enough. How can you be satisfied with few solo girl updates per month? I am not, and will not be renewing. I will spend my money with sites that update daily and provide a much higher quality and variety of content. The quality of their content has remained the same since I was last a member, while most other web sites have advanced leaps and bounds (or leapfrogged as you would say) past FTV girls. I am glad that you are content wasting your money, but please do not mislead the public into wasting theirs.
What is a leap-frogged? Much of competation is better and Ftv just start HD video. Competation has years more HD better video for members than Ftv which is better. I join many sites and Ftv not worth money any more and only update site every 5-7 days. Sorry for not so good English but you now what I say is true.
This seemed like a fair review to me, though I disagree with it on key points, ALS Scan being a site that I compare all other younger women sites to for excitement factor. I actually find that this site is good at showing the lighter-humored aspects of their models. I don't believe that any other site has ever show-cased Susana Spears as being such a cheerful woman as ALS Scan did, instance.
Their Caribbean 2006 material is just wonderful at showing hot gorgeous women having fun in between the fisting and peeing and all that stuff - they certainly do a better job at this than FTV Girls, from what I've seen of that site's materials.
The excitement factor really is a matter of taste, though, and I wouldn't ding you for having different tastes than I do, since your review was fair and straight-forward.
I gave this site a good mark. The mark was not reflective of the fact that it does not have hardcore, that was mentioned however. I mentioned the comprehensive preview twice, in the review, and in a comment. Obviously I knew what was in the site. I mentioned being "Jaded" to point out that the inexperienced porn surfers would find the material exciting. I did not "ding" the site. I gave credit where credit was due, IMO. Flaming people is "stupid", not honest reviews.
This site has the same update system as most of the new 21st Sextury sites (Sweetsophiemoone, Footsiebabes, Horny Eurosluts...): aproximately two new sets (pictures and videos altogether) are added each week, but the videos are added in small chunks (the first three minutes one day, the next three minutes the next day, etc.), so you often have to wait for another week to be able to see the complete video.
After a set is added, it stays in the archive forever, and you can access it anytime. Right now, Dirty 101 has about 100 sets (each set has pictures and video).
All videos are HQ, and each one lasts for about 20-30 minutes, which is 200-350 MB more or less.

Hi there - Thanks for responding. I think what you're voicing comes down to what the purpose of a review is. As I was writing the ALS Scan review, it did occur to me that, to some extent, I was faulting a dog for not being a cat, but that's also why I made sure to be very clear about my objections, so someone like yourself would understand precisely what my gripes were (and could thus dismiss them if they weren't in line with their own tastes). I also was determined to let readers know the positives of the site (gorgeous girls, high-quality pictures, a long-running history, etc.). I figured that when they were finished with my review, they might say, "Okay, I get where she's coming from, but this site sounds ideal to me."
Admittedly, this one was a tough call for me, because, as I mentioned above, I felt like it was unfair of me to hold the site to my idiosyncratic standards. What ultimately led me to write the review is that I do believe I could enjoy the site if some of the changes I recommended were made. Fair points - the reason I gave Alison a higher score was simply she is so attractive and uses a lot of clothing fetish crossovers in her content - you are spot on the design of the two sites is virtually identical - but with FTV, despite the huge amount of content there weren't that many models I found all that attractive.
On a solo girl site I expected what I got - decent quality movies with an extremely attractive friendly and enthusiastic model.
A lot of the girls on FTV fell short of those expectations - and for me Alison was the biggest selling point of that site.
