ive always heard seagate for internal drives, ext are a toss up between seagate and western digital. i actually have a 1tb wd ext i use regularly, then a 750gb seagate internal i use to backup the ext drive on occasion
i should note that neither of these drives are attached to the computer. i only install them/plug them in when i want to use them. that should extend their life a lot

id join this site if it werent for the 3gb dl limit. i can deal with 10gb, but for a 1st time subscriber, 3gb is absurd. its clear site leechers isnt the reason for the 3gb limit, its so subscribers will have to stay a couple months to get the majority of vids
you try and be clever with the 3gb limit thinking youll force site leechers to stay longer. well guess what, they just wont join AT ALL

iffy bandwidth?- i max out at 1.5mb/s

well it turns out that its flashget thats slowing the downloads down. im guessing ftv disabled download managers. with standard firefox i get 1mb/s but with flashget i get 250kb/s. however flashget doesnt slow anything else down, it usualy doubles the speed
anyways, downloading files 1 by 1 is really annoying so i havent visited for a week and ive unsubscribed. oh well...

i prefer them broken up. i download the lowest quality divx vid 1st, and if i like it i get either the wmv or hd vid. also, zipping the files wont reduce their size that much
