About the only way to get by in the 21st century without wifi is to live alone, own one computer, don't use a smart phone and don't have a tablet ... which basically means you don't live in the 21st century.

Porn is sort of like a restaurant in that once the entree breaks the $30 barrier you start to lose the customers. I'm a cheap bastard so even the $30 limit is high for me but that doesn't mean there isn't great stuff or niche stuff above that line.

I never do the "Free" trials with the exception of DDF that no longer offers them. I have done some $1 trials in the past but only if they're through a reputable billing company and the terms and conditions make it clear that I got time to cancel before the trial ends. In other words, look before you leap.

I would say some combination of "all of the above". Dimensions alone don't define HD. Actually, I guess I don't even know what a standardized definition of HD is any more. Too lazy to Google though.

Well, I stand corrected. I think the main people here have with this is the word "DRM". Too many bad connotations for us old timers. Given how much personal information we give up to social media and big data every time we fire up our browser, I don't have much of a problem with this any more.

I hadn't really heard about this before. It makes sense from the production end and doesn't mess with legitimate users so I don't have a real problem with it. My guess, though, is that it's probably easy to defeat the codes or block them if you know what you're looking for.

A lot of old stuff that goes also can't legally be reproduced any more because of the all the documentation required now to show consent, age, etc. Also, who really owns the copyright to the old stuff is hard to track down. With porn being relatively cheap to produce I can't see many willing to go the expense and hassle of reclaiming the oldies and then updating them to current acceptable standards.

Unless you're set on watching your collection on a 60 inch HD tv or monitor then "the biggest" doesn't always make sense.

It's just more likely to make me join. It really doesn't affect the score unless the price is an awesome deal or a total ripoff in comparison to what you get.

Nothing kills a scene worse for me than actors who treat a shoot just like another day at the job or a comedy session.

It all depends on whether your a "pic" or a "vid" collector. As I'm the former, I don't mind extra content in the pics section but it bugs me when the good stuff on the vids don't show up in the pics.

I actually do a quick scan, mostly because I want to see the cancellation policy - important if you're on a short time trial.

If you think of all the paysites out there featuring recycled crappy porn, then the answer is "no", the vast majority won't make it. As for the big boys, the ones getting regular reviews around here, I'd say probably half will be around in a decade just because even if they stop producing new content they just recycle until the cows come home.

I do less collecting now but always keep it under one TB otherwise the collection just gets too "messy" ... it's current state I prefer keep under the tagline "complicated".

Don't have any either, mostly for the reasons stated above. But, we're probably in the overall minority. I would bet that most people under 25 keep some on their phones as it's really their everyday computer and they're probably not as slavish about their collections as we are.

To anyone who has been around the porn block a few times you probably have to answer yes. At first, almost anything looks exciting, fresh and interesting. Only after a while do you start to find the niches and sites that you really like. While I still sample around I pretty much know what I want at this point.

I know what I belong to so no need to bookmark; it's best just in case any prying eyes glance over my computer.

If you really want to raise eyebrows when you croak then make sure to have your collection prominently saved, with easy access, and have directions to play all your favorite scenes during your memorial service. Give'm something to remember you by.

I don't find them terribly important because just about every site I've seen has poor tagging or gaps in their listings so you're forced to dig through it all anyway.

Passwords are basically obsolete today when it comes to security. If someone wants in, they'll get in if all you're relying on is password protection. As long as you're not using "123456" you might as well pick your own.

The only reason I even use some cds is because they're dirt cheap and I still have media that uses them. They're basically a generational thing that the youngens don't use but us old farts still do. Technologically they're already dead but still useful if you're used to them.

Until it becomes pretty awesome in quality and doesn't require a big investment in headgear or other viewing hardware I'm sitting it out.

To the "huhs" above, I think the poll is asking what you do if you have old pics/vids that size out at, say, 900x600 pixels for pics and say 640 for vids. They looked great on your old 14" crt monitor but on your flashy 24" flat screen they look washed out and pixelated if viewed in full screen mode. Recently I have replaced some pics and vids but mostly I just dump them in favor of new stuff.
