Re: the continual logging in. I find that if I tell my broswer to remember the info, it works fine, even with Internet Explorer. The log-in prompt still comes up when you navigate from one site to another in the network, but all the info is filled in, you just click submit.

I should mention that yadayada has a point about the picture quality, in regard to the dark areas. I know nothing about photography so I cannot explain this in technical terms. Maybe I shouldn't have said "excellent photography", though the vids are well-made and a great deal of the pictures are very nice indeed.

One question, yadayada,
Can you give me an idea of what the vids are like? Most importantly-
Do they have a music track? If so, I would never sign up.
And, are the videos mostly masturbation stuff? That seems to be the trend in solo vids, and I'm thoroughly tired of it.

I was a member of the former Girls18 sites a while back and the deal was when you joined one site you got access to all of them, and this was quite a lot of models and tons of photos. They had no vids back then. It looks to me that a join here still gets you access to all the Girls18 sites and that video is now included. It also looks like the update schedule is humming along at good speed, since I get routine emails.
I will say two things: the models were almost all exceptionally cute and the pic sets were very good. A predominance of latin, and/or exotic models, most of them young looking to sometimes too-young looking.
The watermarks were instrusive and in EVERY picture, NOT JUST the samples! At least they were when I was a member, and these watermarks went right over the model in a circular fashion, as yadayada says. Their member forum was full of complaints about the watermarks, but the webmasters were adamant about them and were not about to budge.
If I read yadayada correctly, it looks like maybe this watermark is not present in newer pics.
I will probably join again soon.

I agree, williamj. I'm amazed by many things at this site, the models as well as the high-end, luxurious sets. There's sometimes so much ornament, color, and detail that it's like Ridley Scott decided to direct some soft porn for a change of pace.
And I can't say too much about the silence factor: no music, ZERO blather from the cameraman, and precious little from the model.
Oh, and they seem to be holding the camera much steadier than a few years ago!

You mean, I presume, that the DL came in at 2,200kb a second? Holy crap, that's more than three times as fast as my optimal speed, which is around 700k a sec. I thought I had a reasonably fast connection. Yikes.
Oh, and by the way, the downloads have been okay for me recently, ranging from 300 to 700k.

File coming in at around 600k with AVG disabled, without download manager (I've never used one), which is on the high end of what I typically get.

My high rating for this site came from the outstanding beauty of the models and the high quality photo sets. I kept only a handful of videos, and more than likely I won't view them again. But then again, watching people fuck bores me to tears anyway.
That being said, I think Japanese porn in general has a higher level of eroticism than most other sources.

I was a member here twice, I think, and enjoyed it both times. I ended up deleting the videos I took both times over worries whether the material was actually contrived or not. If it's real, it can't be legal, if it's legal, it can't be real, right? Or am I wrong? From my reading, I believe that candid public material is still legal, but material shot in a private setting - or a public place where privacy is expected - without the knowledge and consent of the subject, is not legal, nor should it be. The WC vids would most certainly be illegal if they were genuine, nor could I feel comfortable watching them even if it were legal to do so. If I could know for sure that it was all contrived and set-up I'd probably go back with a clearer conscience.
I've heard it many times that these kind of sites feature contrived videos, even though the site owners claim that they are real. However, I was a member at one of these voyeur sites and one vid which was set in an asian public bath-house had a small child in it, who was blurred. If this was contrived, why would there be a child present? There were also a few elderly people who I can't imagine would want to participate in such material. I emailed the webmaster at said site and he would only insist that the material was legal, but would not concede that it was contrived.

I agree with a lot that you said, particularly in regard to the videos. However, I wonder if you looked into the Gravure photo section and archives? Most of the sets there are glamour/softcore, and of prime, top-notch quality. There is also a way-softcore section featuring bikinis and such, called "Buru Buru" if memory serves. The amateur section as well as the Urabon section are HC, although there are plenty of nice solo pics in the amateur sets. (I mention this in response to your list of cons, second one from the top)
I didn't pay much attention to the videos, after a brief infatuation with Maria Ozawa. And I agree there needs to be MUCH more variety in that category, especially since most people will be signing up for the videos.
Otherwise, great review. My initial excitement over this site waned significantly over time, although I still believe the JAV models are the most beautiful creatures on the planet.

I've gotten similar offers a few times before by ATK, and I'm not sure if they were limited to the Archives site. I've been a member of all of their sites, and most of them several times, so maybe this is their way of paying back frequent flyers. Not that they don't pay you back in spades with the amount of content already.

I've been at TF twice, and both times I felt that I wasn't getting anywhere near maximum use of the site because of navigation issues. It IS a shame, because there is a ton of content and many, many lovely young ladies.
Also, the pics have this drab, washed-out look all the time. They need some color!

Lest this thread suffer the Wrath of Khan, a question about Cosmid: I wonder why the site is not in the busty niche, and doesn't seem to sell itself as a busty site. I've seen many samples at TGP's and I have yet to see a model who wasn't stacked to the rafters.

Back Door Angels! Martin Barre at his finest. He is one of the most under-rated guitarists ever, probably because he has always played in Ian's shadow, which looms pretty damn large.
Mark Knopfler (sp?) of Dire Straits remarked that Barre's playing with Tull was "Magical." That's a good nod.

Holy crap, a Tull thread at PU! Jethro Tull happens to be my favorite band, ever since my brother came home in 1979 with a copy of the Songs From the Wood lp. He had been at a party in the woods and the album literally smelled like a campfire, plus it was ice cold, it being winter in upstate NY. Imagine how that helped with the whole woodsy, outdoorsy theme of that amazing album!
I've written a handful of Tull reviews at Amazon. I saw them twice in concert, but unfortunately I never saw them in their heyday.

Four of the models on the welcome page are featured at Boob Study, Alina, Katya, Raylenne, and Cherry. Cherry goes by Petra at Boob Study, Michaela at Boobs.pl, and Petra M at Busty Cafe. I'm tempted to join due to your review. There's something about the old magazines that drums up a steamy nostalgia, and you can remember how it felt when you first saw them. There was a site somewhere that offered all the archives for the Brit mag, Mayfair, and free of charge. That was a trip.
